Reuniting with Jason Todd After he Resurrects

The first time you met, you were working with the league as Superman’s sidekick
You had been a sidekick for longer than Jason, so you were assigned to help show him the ropes
At first he thought you were ridiculous for caring so much about helping people
You were probably a little annoyed by how he only wanted to beat people up, too, but you could understand needing the outlet
The first time Jason saw you in action, though, he was extremely impressed and he gained a lot of respect for you
Before long, he found himself admiring your determination and caring nature
(And how you looked in your suit)
The two of you got to know each other pretty well during your training
You could always count on each other
When he went missing during a mission, at first you tried not to worry because you knew he could take care of himself, but you were absolutely devastated when you knew he didn’t make it home
Your team and mentor were especially nice to you once the news came out; they knew you were grieving, even if you tried not to show it
After a while, you started to feel like someone was following you—you’d hear quiet footsteps a few paces back, but you never caught anyone
Jason didn’t want to freak you out, so he didn’t show himself to you for a while
When he finally did step out of the shadows, you almost didn’t believe what you were seeing was real, but you had tears streaming down your face and you ran to hug him
He was a little surprised you weren’t afraid of him, but he hugged you back just the same
He couldn’t help but blurt out how he felt about you
Which just made you cry more happy tears
