ROSE'S FACE IS SO WARM THAT IT ALMOST ITCHES. She opens her mouth, then closes it, then opens it again — and repeats this process. She can't find the right words.

She could have called Kay out on her bullshit, but that would have only lead to more denying. It was better if she just smiled and pretended that she believed her. She could only hope that in time Kay will realize the truth.

Cassidy wanted people to believe that she was kind and that she was nothing like her cousin, but the truth was that the two of them were the same.
" I'm glad to hear you're doing good, maybe you'll have time to relax in the weekend? I usually go to spa with my mom, it helps me feel much better" yes, she realized that most people didn't go to spa every week, but she wasn't going to hide the fact that she was rich.
" Time to take a break then, you've been studying a lot" she smiled at the other woman. " I've been reading this book called 'Patternmaking for Fashion Design', it's really interesting"
It was understandable that she didn’t trust her just yet, that was a good way to go about things and about handling people. Cassidy was really interesting, she had an interesting way about her and she was very kind. Trusting was a hard thing to do for anyone, especially young people.
“I thought that maybe it was partly your scene but I’m glad that you decided to try something different. I’m glad you’re doing great, I’m doing pretty good - tired but good.” Running a hand through her hair, she offers a smile as she sits back in her chair.
She slowly brings a stack of files in front of her, opening one and trying and failing to fully focus on it. “Okay, my brain is fried for the day.” A chuckle, closing the file. “What are you currently studying, anything interesting?”

He gives a small but uneasy hum of agreement. In social events or in everything his wife was civil, friendly to others and warmer than he was, but he tried not to hold that against her. The situation for her and Willa to interact on a regular basis wasn’t surprising and he knew she wouldn’t turn Willa away. “I suppose you’ll be looking for something to do while your man is in Slovenia,” he quipped but with a fake smile on his face.
“My son? I’m surprised you’d be interested. Unless…” he took a step back as if to examine her before resuming his casual stance. “Are you in the family way? I can’t think of anything that would make you interested in him.”

Cami herself was confident enough that she was safe, that she knew Klaus well enough that if the worst were to happen, Camille knew how to protect herself if she needed too. "look I appreciate this, I really do, but I don't the advice."

"I'm sorry to hear of your loss" apparently that's what you were supposed to say, Nadia had seen hundred of people die , and well before their time over her years. She had no family left to feel the weight of what a real loss would feel like, but she did have children, a long time ago.
Nadia nodded, raising children on your own was hard. Especially when it wasn't planned to be that way. "is it your first child?" she questions laying out the cards.
