aww, thanks for the mention! take all the time you need. mental health is important, and there's no use burning yourself out.
and to answer your question, i'm both. (i can't remember why i followed you but i know i had a good reason so i will wait until i remember)
I'm such a random blob of interests. One second I'm watching Cardcaptor Sakura and the next I'm reading the first Fazbear Frights book. I love Studio Ghibli and I read Transformers fanfiction. My favorite Undertale character is Papyrus.
And, like, maybe the reason my blog has never really found an audience is that I have such varied shifting interests, but... I'm not really upset by that... because if being interested in all these things makes me cringe and unpopular, why am I trying so hard to seem cool?
But that brings me to an uncomfortable truth: I want to be cool because I want to be noticed. I want someone to look at me and understand who I am.
And I want that person to tell me I'm beautiful. Not because I'm "made in the image of God" or "special" or "human" or "good"- but because I'm a million things. I want them to see every facet of me, and be completely enraptured by how I've woven a web of loves and hates that are insignificant in the grand scheme of the world but drive my every action regardless. I want to be loved in an impossible way.
Though, honestly, this probably all comes down to my self-esteem issues and social struggles- neither of which are going to be miraculously fixed by me posting on my blog.
I'm not going to stop posting here, but I definitely have some things to work through irl. In the meantime, I'm going to make an effort not to post when I'm having a bad day- while keeping content in my queue.
I'm sorry for the long post, but thank you to everyone who's liked, reblogged, or followed me. Special thanks to @dear-mortality for our few days spent private messaging, @itschrisboys for being incredibly patient (or forgetful) and not un-following me (I won't be offended at all if you do), @kanobarlowe for intellectually stimulating discussion on classic movie monsters, @aceoflilies for our days on Rotomblr, and @holdmyteaplease for being an absolute chaotic academia masterpiece.

that actually sounds like a really cool game concept, mario or not.
i had a dream that there was a new mario game called Super Mario Z and the whole thing was in 3D and the map was kinda built like fnaf security breach/zelda ocarina of time (as in you could freely move around and it was more open than odissey).
And the plot was that Bowser launched a massive suprise attack and managed to quickly take over the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario and Luigi were knocked out, captured and brought to Bowser's castle in the Dark Land, and the game starts when they wake up in the dungeons. and the goal was to try to sneak around and escape without getting caught
for some reason there was a lot more robotic enemy (like mechakoopa level of technology) than goombas or koopas, and the main gimmick was to beat the robots and steal their parts as disguises to not get spotted. like areas had specific robots, and if they saw you without a disguise or disguised as the wrong robot, they'd start chasing you while blaring an alarm. so the puzzles were mostly figuring out which robot parts to use together to blend in, how to get those parts without getting spotted, and when not to put on a disguise and deciding to sneak around instead (because the disguises were so big and clunky you couldn't hide well in the shadows, stay silent, or crawl through small openings)
