Solarpunk Fanfic!
I have an idea! To spread the word and philosophy of solarpunk and ecoharmonious positive future in a more covert but possibly very effective way!
We need to start writing solarpunk/ecoharmonious AU fanfics about our favourite characters/celebrities set in such a world!
People will be drawn in because they love their fave characters but then inadvertently also learn about solarpunk and ecoharmonious society and its workings and values. Can also add calling it positive post apocalypse, since people are more familiar with post the apocalypse genre, omg I'm gonna go ahead right now

Good to know i did it right when i first downloaded tumblr to vent the stuff i had no one to talk about :D
i'm seeing a lot of new ppl join tumblr who aren't making any spontaneous semi pathetic, oversharing personal textposts whatsoever and i just want to say you're doing it all wrong... this is not like instagram like meant to be some shiny highlight reel used to make u look good its supposed to be an incriminatingly revealing dark intimate look into your life & inner psyche while simultaneously no one knows who u are or gives a fuck... anyway hope this helps some of u get on the right track

I have a lot of feelings about this scene. Because from Harry's POV at this point obviously Snape is the mean bully who's always picked on him for no reason and it's gratifying to see Sirius standing up to him and putting him in his place. And at this point in the story that's kind of what we as readers see too. BUT with the additional knowledge we gain about Snape throughout the rest of the story this hits so different.
Think about Snape, who spent years being tormented and humiliated by Sirius and who has carefully rebuilt himself from that, but who still has all the open wounds and trauma from it lurking just beneath the surface. Think about how he's so used to Sirius hurting and humiliating him that the second Sirius stands it's a reflex to grab his wand. And he's not just holding it. He's balled his fist around it - an obvious sign of stress from someone who usually masks it so well - because this isn't just another duel. This isn't even like facing Voldemort.
No matter that Snape is much older and more capable and more powerful now. When it's Sirius suddenly Snape is 15 again and all those memories and feelings of powerlessness and humiliation come rushing back.

How do i get motivation for writing all the fanfics i want to write?
I have about six different fanfics planned that i am writing simultaniousley but i dont think i will ever come around to finish one of them.
Comments on Ao3 are motivating as hell but i dont want to publish works i have not finished because i often get new ideas and then the former chapters dont match. Thats why i had to abandon a story i started uploading.
But without the comments and readers there is no one to hold me accountable for continuing writing and actually coming to an end instead of starting new stuff all the time.
Does anyone has tips?
