BIG DAY TODAY GUYS!

MY FIC JUST REACHED 1K HITS AND 50 KUDOS!

HAPPY ME :)

it's nice to see big numbers, but after all they're just that. cold numbers. i have no idea what people think of my story except for three users who commented and 50 people who liked the story.

I only have one real beta reader right now, which is qualified, cause she knows english and has experience, but she's far from my target audience.

which is why i beg you, please, someone who actually likes wlw modern setting romance and knows english decently, please give it a thought to betaread this shit.

i'll just let you know that it's not a short read, with the unpublished chapter i have it's longer than the third harry potter book and i'm just halfway thorugh.

i'll appreciate anyone who would offer their help, please comment or twxt me in private.

I think that after u've consumed enough medias u reach a certain point when u r too selective and cannot enjoy mediocre stuff as ya did before.

I've been experiencing this with fics and books in general, where i've become more and more selective, not tolerating certain things, like untealistic events, too convenient coincidences, things that happen just because, underdeveloped characters and general plot holes, mostly in the fantasy genre.

My friend Elis has been tellin me how i should just move on and not consider stuff but there's a limit to what i can ignore.

Exam session is over bitches!

I'm so tired and I haven't been writing for THREE WEEKS I really think I could explode.

But hey, I'm still editin ch 6 of my beigguang modern au fic!

Sneak peak everyone!

The Grand Narukami Estate was situated in the outskirts of town, lost between the hills of the countryside and bordered by tall metal fences, bending in curlicues like iron vines.

Guests left their car outside, in a field peppered with small trees, where more than thirty cars, between Maseratis, Lamborghinis and Ferraris, were ordinately placed between the tiny shrubs.

The entrance was delimited by an iron gate, with the letters R S in gold metal shining over the black pattern, nestled between two columns that housed two stone fox statues holding the weight of the arc which stretched above the access.

From outside, it was already possible to see the many bushes running along the fence, cherry trees peeking out here and there, but once inside it was clear there was more to it: on the right a flowery garden, nicely kept with all kinds of different plants and a white fountain with nymphs holding vases that spilled in the pool of water underneath, filled with a plethora of goldfishes; meanwhile, on the left, many others flowerbeds skirted the pebbly path that lead to a pool on the backyard.

The building per se looked big indeed, the lilac walls striped with white columns and the red roofs peeking up from the top, but once inside it was a whole different story: a triumph of white, gold and purple hues, on display for everyone to see.

The interior design looked imperial to say the least, excessive and complex, but also utterly refined, a vessel of opulence for anyone allowed to witness it.

Ningguang had spent a long time trying to admire every detail in the room, but there were too many: eastern vases covered in intricate curlicues housed rich bouquets of pink and violet flowers, the purpura walls contrasted perfectly with the golden curtains and the furniture in shiny woods adorned with gilded embroidery.

All around the room there were white and golden couches and armchairs with purple pillows over them, where guests could indulge on, while consuming their tiny treats, chatting and laughing in the dim light provided by the fake candles on the chandelier.

Idk ab yall but i'm just proud of this fancy ass description.

I wanna write my own story.

Not like my life, but a story that is mine.

No fanfiction.

Idk why, it feels weird.

Like these characters and ships don't really belong to me.

And that i'll never be able to interpret them 100% in character.

After all, isn't that what we all fanfic writers do?

We take a character, we form an opinion on them and then we create.

Games, books, movies, they're art, and everybody interprets it as they please.

I don't know what i wanted tp say with this, I just wanted to put this out there.

Maybe one day I will manage to publish a story that i can call mine.

In the meantime, here's my beigguang modern au fic.

i'm begging you guys to start pirating shit from streaming platforms. there are so many websites where you can stream that shit for free, here's a quick HOW TO:

1) Search for: watch TITLE OF WORK free online

2) Scroll to the bottom of results. Click any of the "Complaint" links

3) You will be taken to a long list of links that were removed for copyright infringement. Use the 'find' function to search for the name of the show/movie you were originally searching for. You will get something like this (specifics removed because if you love an illegal streaming site you don't post its url on social media)

4) each of these links is to a website where you can stream shit for free. go to the individual websites and search for your show/movie. you might have to copy-paste a few before you find exactly what you're looking, but the whole process only takes a minute. the speed/quality is usually the same as on netflix/whatever, and they even have subtitles! (make sure to use an adblocker though, these sites are funded by annoying popups)

In conclusion, if you do this often enough you will start recognizing the most dependable websites, and you can just bookmark those instead. (note: this is completely separate from torrenting, which is also a beautiful thing but requires different software and a vpn)

you can also download the media in question (look for a "download" button built into the video window, or use a browser extension such as Video DownloadHelper.)

Uni is killin me rn but I managed to still edit ch 5 of my beigguang modern au, so i'll leave yall a sneak peak and the link to previous chapters!

Ningguang chuckled softly: “I really hope this event will be a nice experience…” she added then, more to herself than to the other woman.

“Don’t worry, remember, if ya ever get bored, ya can always call me and I’ll come there to save the day!” she proudly announced, hands on her hips and a wide grin across her face.

“I appreciate the thought but, please, don’t come and crash the party,” joked Ningguang, a faint laugh escaping her pink-ish lips.

Beidou would do that tho.

Only if necessary, obviously.
