Miraculous Gambling

The thought came to me after a recommendation to watch Kakegurui on Netflix and later read some MLB Salt fics.

If the oh so famous school where gambling is the popularity ranking were to exist

What risks would be on the table for it to be known in Paris?

How far will you spiral into madness?

And how much are you willing to risk to get what you want?

Lila would make any kind of claim involving the school from her being the gambling queen on her trip to Japan to being friends with the famous -Bami Family. Many students would scoop up the tales as if it were water in the desert with a few exceptions alongside Marinette as not many survive the school with their head high up and if that were the case, you would have to be the ultimate gambler.

Perhaps some of the students from the school arrive to Paris for either an exchange program or to see if teens outside their school could gamble just as well as they could. Go for the latter and you have an exposure story. When the news reaches Dupont, Lilas followers insist she would gamble as they witness the president and rest of the family members just to prove any of her tales to be true or “for old times sake.”

Only for her to fail miserably and be in massive debt while her followers are confused as to why she failed.

The way to expose her could spiral in many directions and you are happy to go with any exposure and go as petty as your hearts content. I’ll even add extra salt of Lila becoming an outside housepet until she is no longer in debt.

Marinette will see it all spiral out of control in the background as she befriends the visitors and perhaps practices/professionally gambles with them. She could be the one to just watch chaos run its course or be the one to gamble with her free time on the line as the chips represent time to make designs she must make for the victors. Any winnings can convert to actual money for her to keep.

Anyway, I’m typing this right after watching all available to the anime, go crazy with the fics and get your gambling freak on!

I’ll be making some YouTube trading cards for Vidcon this year. It will be my first time going to any con in general so this will be exciting for me. My problem though, is who I make cards of and how many? I want to make some that you’d like to collect as many designs (clothes, characters, ages, etc.) will be also included and I’d like to ask for any YouTubers any y’all think I can make of.

Just saw Love, Simon

This movie was really emotional for me personally. I might be straight, but I have LGBTQ friends who have had either a tough life or they have supportive people around them but still hide themselves away. I read the book the moment the movie was premiered so I sort of knew how it would go, yet I was filled with tears when I saw it on the big screen. There will be families and friends who will either support you, or they just need a bit more time to adjust to the truth being unleashed. I have two gay uncles and I admit, I have had a few times when I thought I was from another timeline since I was the first person in my own family to accept anyone, especially LGBTQ people. My parents were somewhat religious, that or they just thought it was just plain weird. They turned out to be pretty cool by the time I turned 9 though so all I had left was a homophobic little brother. I saw all different kinds of pairings growing up and I was the first person that a few of my friends decided to just spill the beans about it.

Again, there will be people who will either like you for you, and others won’t. I don’t know how far it will go for any of you, but I’m all ears for anyone who wants someone to just listen, not just hear. Listen and understand.
