Yes, this is a 100% accurate representation of how reincarnation works.
No, I haven’t been watching too many game shows.

Last, but not least, (until the next time someone dies in our campaign) is Euphemia, or Euphy, the Forest Gnome Warlock. The most recent addition to our party, Euphy is a bit of a... let’s say interesting egg. Having joined our party as an aid from an allied faction, Euphy constantly hints at her mysterious and royal lineage, but all of that is overshadowed by her eccentric personality. At times bubbly and cute, Euphy tends to be hotheaded and emotional, making rash decisions that are constantly at odds with the brooding edgelords in our party. Also, despite acting like a princess, she has no problem with excessive bloodshed and the suffering of others. I’m pretty sure she’ll wear that cutesy smile whether she’s attending a fancy ball or stabbing people for fun.
Typically, warlocks gain their powers from demonic or eldritch patrons, predisposing them to darker arts. Euphy on the other hand is a warlock who gained her powers from an ancient fey patron. The fey, not entirely good nor entirely evil, bestowed a familiar to Euphy who appears in the form of a Pseudodragon named Trevan. Together, they provide constant firepower and scouting potential to the party. I’d say the only thing they need to work on is sticking with the party and not killing random things. THAT HAS CONSEQUENCES EUPHY

Next up is our very own Druid, tank and wise old Firbolg, Barnabas-Basil Boros, or Barney for short! Barney is very close to my heart, because I’m THE ONE WHO PLAYS HIM. Barney joined the party relatively recently all because a certain god wasn’t being very considerate to his patch of forest. Once he learned others wanted to stop her he packed up his magical talking staff Gel’ean and joined the party. I bet he didn’t anticipate that he would wind up in a desert, become king of the snake people and get embroiled in a continental war, but hey, you take it as it comes right?
As a druid, Barney is in touch with nature and knows a wide array of elemental and natural magic. In addition to breathing life into trees and summoning wild creatures, Barney can also shift into many different animal forms (though for some reason he still hasn’t acquired a flying form yet...). This skill allows him to be on the front lines of battle and take much harder hits than other members of the party. However, as he’s been away from society for a couple hundred years, he tends to forget simple social cues like not turning into a bear when you’re having dinner. It’s okay Barney, what you lack in basic social awareness you make up for in an impressive beard. I mean look at that thing. So majestic.
