Overfishing in the Amazon River has led to the extinction of wild-caught large fish over 3.000 species. Animal agriculture is also responsible for the decline of fish in the Amazon River. The plants in our rivers, marine lives like fishes also absorb carbon dioxide and give us back oxygen. Killing them is killing us. What is going on with #cop26 is very twisted; once again, they are empty with actions and reality. Politics and climate conferences keep dismissing the threat of animal agriculture. At this point it is crucial to understand why the threat from animal agriculture and animal exploitation are not having enough attention as it should. It’s not as if all of those solutions would take shape simply by virtue of transitioning away from animal agriculture, but it’s also not if they could occur at meaningful scale without doing so. Animal agriculture is connected with others systems of oppressions, and is one of the reasons that #totalliberation is interconnected with #animalliberation . While animal rights advocates may oversimplify this at times, deflecting or attaching them for such is a coping mechanism to avoid examining our behavior towards other animals. Today I want to pay a tribute to a no-human-animal friend who impacted my life with personality, humor, sweetness, and sassiness. Who would thought I would years ago, met a pig friend with more personality and uniqueness than many humans I know? Here are some older clips on different days and years, with the legendary sister Mary Frances who had the opportunity to have a life as an individual, be who she was and touch many lives with her outgoing personality to which many could relate. 💚 Excuse my kid's behavior and voice when talking to sister Mary on this video. I always become an overexcited kid again when I am at my favorite spot. - I will never get over her happy tail wagging, and will always smile when remembering the way she used to hibernate and hide under the blanks during the cold weather and show up in the springtime. So many people can relate to that behavior ☺️ I feel quite fortunate to have met her and for the unforgettable simple moments that brought light to my soul. I will keep her sassiness close to my heart and will always remember and love this girl. Her life is proof that animals are just like us, individuals with their own uniquenesses . Update on my boy #samlouiefoschino , who was having pain in an intervertebral disk. Since his diagnostic he has been on medications and is recovering . He needs to take it easy for 4 weeks until he completely heals until is safe for heavier physical activities. The pain went way but he still need to take it easy and allowed only a little walk with his sister.
