One of the BEST feelings is going to the movies by yourself. It literally made me so much more comfortable to go out and do things alone and now I do things by myself all the time. And in all honesty I prefer it sometimes.
Learn how to be your own best friend too, and trust me it helps. More than you ever thought it could
always shocked that people are like "aah i have no one who wants to see this movie with me so i guess i'm not seeing it :/" like may i change your life with 3 simple steps: 1. go to the cinema 2. buy a ticket 3. see the movie

[5:45pm] You were pretty bored; you started working at the university’s library and you loved it but it tend to get quite boring, specially during the first day of the week, when no one actually cared to work on their assignments because they have just turned the ones from last week. You were reading a book for one of your classes, your whole attention in it, you didn’t notice the person standing in front of the front desk, which was your spot.
“Hello.” You got scared at the sudden voice and jumped a little bit on your place, making the stranger laugh. “I´m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.” You freezed at the sight of the boy standing in front of you, beautiful is the only thing you can think of.
“It’s okay, it was kind of my fault, I should not be distracted at work.” You adjust yourself in your sit and try to get it together so you don’t make a fool out of yourself in front of the cute guy. “In what can I help you?”
“I’m checking some books out.” He said while handing you the books and giving you the loveliest smile you have ever seen in your entire life.
You scan the books and write something in the computer, once in a while you look at him quickly just to catch a glimpse of his beauty. “Name?”
“Excuse me?” He looks at you confused and you laugh nervously.
“Oh I need to get your info, you know so like if you don’t return the books on time the system will let me know.” You said and tried your best for your voice to come out clear, so he doesn´t notice how nervous he makes you.
“Oh right, sorry.” He scratch his hair and lets out a airy laughed. “Hwang Hyunjin.” A pretty name for a pretty boy was the first thing you thought.
“Major?” You look at him and you almost melt on the spot, you catch him looking back at you.
“Political science.”
“Oh that sounds cool.” You say while typing.
“It is.” He said and then it went complete silence. You were used to it by now, you know working on the library and all but this silence was awkward, you could feel the tension.
“Here you go.” You handed the books back to him and he receives them with a smile on his face.
“Thank you y/n.” You were quite shock that he knew your name, and it was noticeable since Hyunjin laughed and pointed at you. “It says it on your bach.” You feel your face heating up and then you laughed nervously.
“I knew that.” You tried to save yourself from the embarrassment but it was too late.
“Yeah sure.” He laughed once again. “See you around y/n.” And then you see him leave the library, leaving you with a funny feeling in the pit of you stomach.
“So pretty.” You said to yourself and then returned to your book.
Time passed and Hyunjin started to come more and more often, you started talking more and more and without even realizing it Hyunjin started coming to the library not to check books out but to make you company, which you highly appreciated but with every visit from him you could sense your how feelings started to grow until a crush was developed. That’s right, you were fucked.
“What are you thinking of?” You were so immersed in your thoughts that the sudden voice scared you and made you dropped your pen. You gave him a bad look and then proceeded to look for your pen down your desk.
“Hey Jin!” You heard the voice of one Hyunjin´s friends, you don’t know which one but you didn’t give that much thought.
“What are you doing here? You hate coming to the library.”
“I know but I wanted to see the cute person you always talk about, the one that works here.” At hearing this you get so surprise and try to get up but you hit your head with your desk.
“Auch.”
“Y/n, re you okay?” Hyunjin appears in front of you and helps you get up. You noticed his friend turning out to be Seungmin, who looks at you with a surprised look and his cheeks are kind of red.
“Are you okay?” He ask worried, you just smile at him while rubbing your head to try make the pain go away. “You by any chance didn´t listen to what I say, right?”
“Why do you think I hit my head?”
“Well I’m fucked.” You laughed and give him a sympathetic smile. “That’s my cue to go, nice meeting you tho.” He shakes your hand. “Jinnie was right, you are indeed very cute.” And with that being said he storms out of the library leaving you and Hyunjin with very red cheeks.
“So.” You started by turning around to face him. “You think I’m cute?” And even though you could feel your face burning, you couldn’t help feel a little bit cocky, because guess what? Your crush thought you were cute. You felt like you were on top of the world.
“No.” He sees your smile disappear and rapidly changed his answer. “I mean yes! God Seungmin is so dead.” He says more to himself. “I was planning on asking you out, because I think you´re cute and interesting but Seungmin fucked it up. I didn’t want you to know about my crush on you like this.” He scratches the nape of his neck and his ears and cheeks were burning red.
“Hyunjin.” You call him and he lifts his up. “I have a crush on you too.” His surprised look making you laugh.
“What? Are you serious?”
“Dead serious.” You laugh again at his expression. “What about a cup of coffee after my shift?”
“Hey! I was supposed to be the one asking you that.”
“So is that a yes?”
“It´s a hell yes.” You both laugh and then you continued with your; you couldn´t help but smile for the rest of your shift.
