if i'm being really honest i do think things like wfa are genuinely harmful to the medium because it doesn't actually exist in the service of storytelling or a desire to create art so much as shameless content creation made to appeal to people who don't want complexity or depth or conflict. if i were to be completely honest bluey is more morally and emotionally complex than the average chapter of wfa. it's a funko pop parade of characters you recognize plugged into vague, easily solved interpersonal conflicts and domestic scenes around a dinner table. puppies lick batman's face

anyways as much as it's fun to joke about tim being an emotional support robin that bruce relied on, the thing is that their early dynamic was very much bruce not wanting tim to see the darker side of hin that struggled and trying to handle it alone and tim getting frustrated with him about being pushed away
