Three things you can do on your phone for the developing world
1. UNICEF's Tap Project: How long can you go without touching your phone? For every ten minutes you go (with this website open), a sponsor donates enough money for a child to have clean water for a day.
2. Charity Miles: With this app, you choose your favorite charity, and a sponsor donates for every mile you walk/run/bike. I just leave it on all day at school and it registers all that I walk between classes!
3. Donate a Photo: You're going to take the selfies anyway, so why not contribute to a good cause? For every picture you donate, Johnson and Johnson donates $1 to a charity of your choice.
Have a great day, hope everyone's in the best of health and enjoying themselves

Raise money for children in developing countries by doing nothing. Literally nothing.
For UNICEF's Tap Project this year, just open this link on your phone. For every minute you don't touch your phone, enough water for one child for one day will be donated.

By now you may have heard about the war inside of Syria, and the devastating results it’s had on the Syrian people. The British Parliament has voted against military intervention in Syria, and the United States Congress reconvenes September 9th to debate and vote on the same issue.
The facts:
3,128,000 children are living under less than ideal circumstances: poverty, displacement, or caught in the line of fire.
1,000,000 children are now living in refugee camps in places like Jordan, Turkey, and Egypt.
$110.46 million is the amount of money UNICEF needs to tend to Syria. They are 18% away from that goal.
$360.19 million is the amount of money UNICEF needs to tend to other affected areas in the region. They are 49% away from that goal.
$15.94 million is the amount of money UNICEF needs to tend to the health and nutrition of the children inside of Syria. They’re 22% away from that goal.
$23.15 million is the amount of money UNICEF needs to tend to the health and nutrition of the children in other affected countries. They’re 36% away from that goal.
$33.44 million is the amount of money UNICEF needs to tend to the education of the children inside of Syria. They’re 51% away from that goal.
$128.01 million is the amount of money UNICEF needs to tend to the education of the children in other affected countries. They’re 73% away from that goal.
$13.1 million is the amount of money UNICEF needs to help the children inside of Syria cope with the stress and trauma caused by conflict. They are 9% away from that goal.
$52 million is the amount of money UNICEF needs to help the children in other affected countries cope with the stress and trauma caused by conflict. They are 27% away from that goal.
$46.49 million is the amount of money UNICEF needs to provide clean water to the children inside Syria. They’re 35% away from that goal.
$154.31 million is the amount of money UNICEF needs to provide clean water to the children in other affected countries. They’re 46% away from that goal.
What you can do right now:
In the USA?
Text SYRIA to 864233 to make a $10 donation in support of UNICEF’s relief efforts.
In the UK?
Text DONATE to 70099 to make a £5 donation in support of UNICEF’s relief efforts.
Reblog this, spread the word, and for more information on how you can help and other ways you can donate, visit ChildrenofSyria.info.
