One of my favorite hobbies is looking at the MLP wiki for cool background pony designs. There are SO many beautiful designs hidden in the background, especially in later seasons. So I just snatch those hoes, tweak them, and make them my own lmao (you'll know if an oc of mine is originally a bg pony I like showing the process and giving credit) Let's talk about these gays! --- 1. Nurse Fahrenheit (left) is a young nurse and scrambling to get a hold of his career at the bottom of the food chain. Frankly, his job sucks at this point in time. He is overworked and almost always stressed. His goal is to climb the ranks and education and eventually become a nurse practitioner so he takes it like a champ. There is a fella that always has his fancy. During his off time, Fahrenheit volunteers at college sporting events and helps the athletes with their minor upkeep as needed. CW // Needles mention There is one athlete, a trans stallion named Rainbow Swoop, who is an absolute wuss when it comes to his HRT shot. After trying a few different methods, it was decided the weekly shot would be medically best and he would just need to be poked by someone else to stand it. One day, Nurse Fahrenheit was tasked with this job and had such a soft touch, he was the only one to have never hurt or spooked Swoop while it happened. Swoop decided that Fahrenheit will be his personal assistant for this one task for the rest of time and has the money to pay for it End of CW/// Fahrenheit, shocked, accepted the job, and the relationship quickly turned from professional to friendship. Nurse Fahrenheit is always looking out for Rainbow Swoop and making sure his health is in check. Poor fella has a HUGE crush on his bestie but they're both too busy to really talk about it. --- 2. On the left, we have Tight End (name courtesy of Reddit). I assume this is somehow American football related but I know nothing of football so I find this insanely funny. I have the humor of a four year old. I would not have noticed this pony otherwise. I thought about something, though, past elementary sex jokes. There is very little representation of masc, big/buff bottoms. This is a sfw account so I'm not going to talk about sex much publicly but one thing led to another and now we're here. He is a total babe for his boyfriend, Vellum Codex (right). Vellum was a sad little nerd as a youth that became insanely hot as an adult. He's a career comic artist. -Suffers with familial alcoholism, can drink vodka like water. I will put respective tw when this is brought up as this is a harsh reality for many people.

-Grew up gay in a very homophobic environment. While his family is mostly indifferent to it, growing up in a conservative area had a severe adverse effect to him

-With that said, he severely fears intimacy and is internally homophobic. He briefly tried a relationship with his best friend, Paradise, and that blew up in his face. He will never let anyone in like that ever again-He's not one for showing emotions much. He likes to assess situations as they are and take it one step at a time. Emotions are chaotic and move way too fast for him.

-The Lion's Tail and fluffy fetlocks came from a distant unicorn relative, but he doesn't really have much else to say about it. When asked, he says he doesn't know if he's mixed or what.

-He prefers to do his work alone and has very few superficial friends-In youth, he always got teased for (carrying his heart on his sleeve), which was aimed at the marking on his shoulder, but resulted in him being emotionally withdrawn from a young age.

NOW I wanna talk more about one of my oldest characters, Paradise (right).Throughout his youth, he was closest of friends with a fella named Big Tex (not shown, will be discussed later). As young adults, they had a burning passion for each other that exploded and fell out badly. Paradise has no idea whatever happened to Big Tex and he pretends to not care nowadays. He has an image to keep up. His music, psychedelic and alternate in nature, kept him alive through the rough times and shot him into the spotlight very quickly. He befriended a stoner named Chuck (also not shown but will be discussed later) to form a two-animal band. Their work is usually not seen charting with pop music, but it has its niche areas that are very profitable. Chuck and Paradise got to exist in relatively peaceful chaos for a while. That was, until an alternate rocker with a vintage sound and promiscuous aesthetic decided to also share that space. Meet Stratocaster (left). Stratocaster is the result of an affair between a single Apple Split and a very married Sky Stinger. Raised as an Apple family member, Strat is way more of a musician than a flier. He always has a knack for guitars and a deep bias- he is the best pegasus to ever play guitar. Pegasi just don't give their time of day to that art. At least that's what he thought until he met Paradise. Paradise had this sex idol tripping over himself to get a taste. Paradise off stage is mostly annoyed. On stage, he hates Stratocaster. They're direct competitors for the same audience. Paradise also feels that giving into Strat's advances would only make them another boring couple. The tension keeps eyes on both of them.No Paradise cannot handle intimacy at any level anymore why do you askWhat he doesn't know, though, is that Strat is not also playing into this game for attention and views. Strat is actually completely starstruck by Paradise and just wants to be a bad boy gone good just for him. He'd do it too. So Gen5 is out! Let's talk about it- or let's talk about an AU I wanna do for it based on that one calendar picture of Hitch in a sailor outfit lmao. This isn't meant to be anything political and DEFINITELY not meant to be us military propaganda. I just wanna draw fictional horses in nondescript sailor outfits. It ain't that deep bro.

There is no Equestria here in this AU- there never was. The Mane 6 are a legend akin to King Arthur in our real world. They're a fictional story that used real locations and had such an influence that some believe they were real. The landscape in this world- which I guess we'll also call Equestria for convenience- is a mostly oceanic terrain. That means all three societies- earth ponies, unicorns, and pegasi, are very nautical oriented. They are also very isolated from each other. Many generations ago, a naval war broke out between the three tribes and never really stopped. This has created a societal norm where all ponies obligatorily serve in the military in youth- some staying in longer than others by choice. Nowadays, the war is mostly cold, with just smaller skirmishes and high tensions. Still, the big wigs don't let down. That doesn't mean there aren't ponies scattered here and there who want to make a difference. We'll get to meet some later on.
