Hullo, I wanted to say I absolutely adore your art!! Your Candle Cove pieces are amazing. Your linework and just the way you draw puppets is *chef's kiss* !
I'm also very curious about some of the characters like Poppy and Red Mary. Are they fanmade characters, or did Kris Straub do more with the Candle Cove story? Either way, your interpretations are wonderful and I very much like Thade C:

AND they are fanmade yes, they're from the fanmade wiki that expands on the hypothetical "what if" candle cove was a real show that existed. It's on the fandom wiki site so it can be laggy and full of adds, and it can be kind of all over the place for a lack of better phrase structure wise, but for the past 4 years I've been going rabid over fleshing out and making my own interps of the characters and plot along with other people.

Which crew do y'all wanna be in :3 for me I sorta thought i should join the Kings Dice crew, they sorta don't get into a lot of drama and they barely got any trauma or any actual grudge against others 🥲 (except hendric literally got a burn scar from Red Mary) but other than that I don't think they got any other problems or any horrid stuff happen, they mostly just wanna relax ig , they take no sides

This is very interesting and intrigues me so much because at least in my version that makes him a massive hypocrite because he technically uses a botched form of shadow magic to make himself seem much bigger and intimidating via a large shadow cast puppet of him when in actuality he’s a small paper doll. He’d probably say he was “Using evils tricks against them” if he were called out on it.
Also I might be misremembering because I never check the wiki but didn’t he try to either kidnap Janice or recruit her to the NPHC because he considered he “innocent” and also kind of projects his childhood trauma from having a pirate family onto her? That’s fucked up too cuz then technically she’d be a child soldier.

Okay, can we talk about how genuinely? Terrifying the earl is?? He is a man with legal power, who absolutely should NOT have said legal power.
On @mewpirate 's page, somebody brought up Ms. Pollyanna, along with this quote from the wiki "She ran an inn, but it was burned down by orders of the Earl of Wax because she welcomed pirates" (OG post here )
Now, holy shit, it's literally insane that this dude has the power to order his men to burn a business to the ground, presumably leaving the owner in financial ruin and even homelessness, simply because it *welcomed* pirates.
