I wanted to express my appreciation of your festive Christmas cactus in its non-festive pot. 馃グ馃グ馃グ The contradiction made me grin.
Aw, thanks! So glad to hear that!

Hello from my new place!
Have some temporary (or maybe not) plant setups in my new home:

Only the living room has windowsills, which means we manually have to install some on top of the heaters (which are not in use yet).
I am especially happy with the 'plant curtain' in the bathroom. Everything else is still very much a w-i-p.

A heart-shaped meadow, created by a farmer as a tribute to his late wife, can be seen from the air near Wickwar, South Gloucestershire. The point of the heart points towards Wotton Hill, where his wife was born.

"There鈥檚 so much humanity in a love of trees, so much nostalgia for our first sense of wonder, so much power in just feeling our own insignificance when we are surrounded by nature. Their indifferent majesty and our love for them teaches us how ridiculous we are and at the same time how deserving of life we can be, when we can honor this beauty that owes us nothing.

My Hoya carnosa has been dropping leaves like crazy since temperatures went down. Anybody know what I can do about that? She's not even close to the window or anything?!

Happy Monstera Monday
We got a new Leaf Alert!!!
Not the biggest leaf but the first one to have inner fenestrations!
Whether or not this is a sign of good care or simply the plant maturing I do not know.
What I do know is that is makes me very happy to look at it!

Plant of the Day
Thursday 13 January 2022
The Huperzia species (fir clubmoss, fir moss, fire clubmoss, tree moss) were very popular when I shared them on Sunday 17 October 2021 so on a recent visit to Cambridge Botanic Garden, UK, I took some more images. The Fern House provides the humid atmosphere and indirect light these epiphytic plants need.
