sometimes. sometimes……….I feel as tho oda gives us too much luffy zoro content. he goes a little too hard writing them as soulmates. the symbolism alone. the sun and moon. the king of the pirates king of hell. the matching scars. zoro wouldn’t be a pirate if luffy wasn’t his captain. the trust the devotion. how could this happen with you here. luffy seeking his face first & blushing at the sight of him. zoro willing to die for luffy bc somewhere along the way his ambitions only matters if luffy achieves his. the joy and laughter and adventure they found in each other. two boys in a dinghy no map no plans just their dreams. “did I disappoint you? / you could never fail me” oda why. why did u do this to me

Lol, imagine how funny the first arc of wave land will be.

Kakashi: *receives mission*

Kakashi the next day, reading the note: "here's the address of the rented house."

Kakashi, no longer surprised by anything: thanks for not buying this house.

(Obito would have bought the house, but some dead part of his brain responsible for logic told him that Kakashi would never come to this country again and therefore it was a waste of money).

Tazuna, when she sees that that house is rented by Kakashi's team: you are very prompt in your work

Kakashi: yes, I have good connections.

Kakashi's children: how you haven't been killed yet, sensei, you're a perfect prey for the black widow.

Kakashi, nervously: something tells me the black widow will die before me.

(he's right, lol, Obito's gifts are only for Kakashi, hands off).

Now imagine a meeting between Zabuza and Kakashi!

Zabuza: damn, I never thought the angel of death would turn out to be the shadow mizukage's favorite wife.

Itachi: yeah, but-

Tobi, lowering his voice: but that's none of your business, thank you all, see you all soon

Imagine how funny Kakashi and Itachi's reunion will be later on!

Itachi: *throws a judgmental look at Kakashi*

Kakashi, in thought: what the hell, isn't he the missing ninja here? Why is he the one judging me then?

I can think of a dozen more funny situations here, maybe I'll write something else!

- the sun not being visible reflects the sun (luffy) in zoro’s life missing

- moon, no zoro bc hes the moon + 7 stars for the rest of the straw hats (pre ts)

- what zoro was writing

- zoro’s smile while napping (bc of whom hes dreaming of)

- pg 1 and 3 parallels, pg 1 he eats, pg 3 he eats w luffy, and he also sits similarly due to the line “b/c so much of some things has always been and always will be you” meaning doing those things reminds him of being w luffy
