tuesday_tapes, a new ongoing analog horror series [LINK HERE]
This one is for the 2000s kids. All your paranoia, all your fear, those brief halcyon moments that were swept away into a greater darkness unfolding far above all of our heads - it's all forgotten now.
V.P. (2023), a short (anti-)erotic thriller about a 🌽 video that drives its viewers to madness. It's the short I'm most proud of so far, an Information Age horror about about desire, evolution and New Media.
It's influenced strongly by the legacy of distinctly 21st century phenomena like Creepypastas and horrortubers, and as such it's also very much about looking down the barrel of the 21st century and attempting to craft narrative from a uniquely horrific modern world.
"Heed my warning: there is no telling this story without becoming a part of it."
I've always liked analog horror but think that the subgenre's gotten boring. So to liven things up, here's tuesday_tapes, a sorta-anthological series taking place between 1996 and 2001 that's inspired as much by 90s Oliver Stone as it is by Local 58. Part found footage, part analog horror, all-American.
