Wczoraj bedac w sklepie zobaczylam, jak mnostwo smieciowego jedzenia sprzedaje sie w UK. Wszystko to albo cukier, albo sol, cale alejki syfu. Mozecie sie smiac, ale teskno mi za surowkami firmy Grzeskowiak albo czymkolwiek podobym, nawet z Biedry. Tu wszystko ocieka octomajonezem i jest tylko coleslaw albo ziemniaczana, a fuj. Cala zamrazarka podrobionego jedzenia z Maca, no ludzie, tak nie mozna. Wszystko w ciescie francuskim, panierce albo ciescie a’la nalesnikowe. Co mam sie samej sobie dziwic, jak sie tak odzywiam, nie zawsze do konca swiadomie. W Polsce jem typowo polskie dania-na przyklad schabowy, ale to jest domowej roboty, do tego ziemniaczki ugotowane z wody i surowka. Ewentualnie gotowana jest zupa. Wszedzie chodze na piechote, to za chwile tego juz nie czuje. Nie powiem, rodzina ma ze mnie beke, ale bedac w Polsce wchodze doslownie do kazdego sklepu spozywczego. Jakie dzwieki wydawalam z siebie na widok pieczywa w Stokrotce, to az tesc mi sie przygladal. Piekarniom tez nie odpuszczam. Jak jakis perwersyjny turysta. Tesknie za polskim jedzeniem, chociaz mam calkiem niezle polskie sklepy w poblizu, ale to jednak nie to. Artist Research

Heather Hansen

Heather Hansen is a performative and visual artist known for her kinetic drawing series. She has performed and exhibited in major cities throughout Asia, Europe and the U.S. Her work been featured repeatedly by Juxtapoz, Collosal, Fubiz, and Hi-Fructose among others. Originally from rural Idaho, Hansen graduated from TESC in dance and theater design. I liked heathers pieces as they show movement using charcoal. I thought that I could show the movement of fire through charcoal in a similar way to the process that Heather uses.

Schizophrenia 

I wrote two books on schizophrenia. Both can be found everywhere, Amazon included. My first book, published in 2019, is titled “On Conquering Schizophrenia; From the Desk of a Therapist and Survivor; With Purview on Metaphysics, Philosophy, and Theology”. I call it “OCS” for short! OCS is philosophical. My second book, published in 2021, is “The Essential Schizophrenia Companion; With Foreword by Elyn R Saks, PhD, JD”. I call it “TESC” for short. TESC was my mission to provide others what I deem to be the absolute crucial essentials one should know regarding schizophrenia. Dr Elyn Saks wrote the foreword to TESC. If you do not know Dr Saks, google her and you will find her legend! I remain most grateful for her gracious contribution!

I am a longtime mental health talk-therapist (a Licensed Clinical Social Worker- LCSW) who has lived with schizophrenia for 25+ years. Both books combine clinical with lived experience perspectives i.e. a little psychology amid an otherwise first-person narrative (both sides of the coin, I suppose).

Lastly, regarding any and all matters schizophrenia, I am always seeking exciting collaboration projects with others promoting recovery in schizophrenia! So, if you have an idea, please know I am listening! But as for now, I hope you are well, creative, and inspired!
