Enemies To Lovers
Allison Hargreeves x GN! Reader
this was a request from @emobensgf2
TW: Mentions of knives and violence
Tumblr media
-oh boy.
-it all starts in the acting industry, as most hateful relationships between people do
-you're vibrant, a titan in the celebrity life, and so broadly strung out for your talent
-and allison coincidentally is too
-she's new, she's drop dead gorgeous, and everything comes easily to her
-you can't help but feel a little jealous
-but when you meet her at an audition, which admittedly isn't the best place to meet, you hope the interaction clears the air in your mind
-after all, even if she is everything you wish you could be, she also seems kind and lovely to all around her
-and she is! when you meet you can't possibly imagine a more perfect person, which is albeit a little frustrating, but also incredibly relieving at the same time
-she compliments your looks, praises your previous work, and you do the same
-but it was premature
-one night, at an award ceremony, it all goes to shit
-you're sitting at a table with other people like you, glamorous and enviable stars, and allison is at the same table, which you feel a little excited by
-a beautiful, statuesque woman sitting beside you is always a gift
-it's fun, it's light, you all get drunk and playfully and familiarly jest at one another, happy for the reprieve from the perfected projection of each of your lives
-she touches your arm once while she laughs at your joke and your heart jumps through your ribcage
-but somehow, one wise-crack became too many, and someone dangerously wondered who was more deserving of the role
-you or allison?
-it's awkward, and while it begins jokingly as each of you tries to brush it off, allison slips up by saying that while she could see your prowess and talent, she believed she could embody the role better
-it takes you aback, but you try to remain cordial
-yet as you make way to defend your claim to the role, all of it falls apart
-what started off playful becomes something childish and petty as each of you swiftly and rampantly list reasons why you should have the role, and eventually why the other shouldn't
-it gets viciously personal as the rounds go on, and by the time it ends, neither one of you can remember who made it that way, and how it began
- it ends, believe it or not, with a foodfight
-she says something about you not being talented enough for the role, and you bite back
-you make mistake of making a jab a little too personal, something about her past or her powers
-allison throws her drink in your face
-you can feel the humiliation paint your features, and some part of you wonders if you deserved it if someone as nice as allison took the time to do something like this to you
-but another part of you boils, rages
-there is another, more puzzling thought that comes to mind
-you somewhat enjoyed her being mean to you, but the thought is abruptly devoured by the rest
-she then, of course, sharply wonders if you had enjoyed bed-hopping throughout hollywood to could climb your way to the top
-you end up throwing mashed potatoes at her face, which now you can see was not a very adult reaction, but it's almost completely instinctual as it happens
-you're both escorted out with various consumables dripping and hanging from your bodies soon after
-and there's no need to wonder, it's def in the tabloids and a story in every news outlet the next day
-it's war from then on.
-neither one of you are outright rude. no, that would be unbecoming.
-when reporters and paparrazi bombard both of you with questions about the incident, it goes with no comment from either of you.
-honestly, you both have regret and want to quickly, and quietly forget the whole scene, but another part then remembers what the other said and you can't push down the despise that bubbles up
-the role goes to allison, which angers you so much you're sure there's steam coming out of your ears
-but there are other battles, and when you're invited on talk shows and podcasts, you politely, and subtly, backhandedly congratulate and comment on her work
-she does the same, saying this movie was good but not to her taste, or your outfit did wonders for your face
-she's spreads rumors throughout the acting underground, and so do you
-and every time you both show up to an audition, the room falls deathly silent and the tension thickens to a crescendo
-but, by some sickening miracle, you both are signed on for the same project as romantic interests for one another's characters
-ultimately, a terrible decision by everyone involved but work is work and you won't miss out on a incredible, blockbuster project just because of her
-it's a disaster from day one, she's making sly comments on how unprofessional you are, and you're making polite but pointed remarks on how fake she's coming across
-the romance scenes are awful, practically deathly, because no matter how much you hate her, your heart jumps like the first time when she touches you
-your body alights with something when you have to kiss, and something about the way she tugs your hair and grips your arm feels a little too real for comfort
-when she pulls away, there's something white hot tingling between your bodies as her eyes brandish you with her own bewildered questions
-if you could physically beat yourself up for how your being reacts around her, you would
--there's no food fights like before, but it's a cycle of competition and hate that never ends
-everyday, both of you wake up with the one objective of tearing the other down to be the best
-tbh, you wonder how someone who seems so lovely and kind is the devil incarnate hellbent on ruining your reputation for one drunk night
-and why, why out of everyone, you had decided she was worth all of your time and energy to hate
-why were you so obsessed with her?
-you can't figure it out, you can't let it go
-until one day, you catch her crying in the restroom
-you walk in, jokingly excusing yourself from a conversation into the sounds of muffled cries from a stall in the corner
-you obviously feel horrible for whoever's in there, but you figure they'd rather be left alone than have to endure being asked by someone who probably couldn't understand
-you do your business a few stalls down, and as you bend down to pick up a dropped earring, you look over and everything inside you deflates
-you'd know those exceptionally fashionable heels anywhere
-allison hargreeves is crying a few stalls away from you
-and she more than definitely knows you're a few stalls away from her, too
-you were talking when you walked in, after all
-you expect to feel some sort of cruel pride in the revelation, that she is just as human and messy as you are, that she's not as perfect as she desires to be
-but instead, you just feel a reluctant sympathy for her.
-it's the absolute worst as you feel like your world turns on it's head as you quietly gather your things and step out, more than sure that she didn't want comfort, and that she definitely didn't want comfort from you
-when you do, however, you hear two assistants talking shit about her by a catered table
-any other day, you'd probably smile a little, but today something about you is different
-you walk up, and you watch that sparkle in their eyes brighten, the worshipping sparkle that came to everyone who saw you
-and then, you stomp it out in two seconds
-you scold them openly for talking badly about the crew and the actors, heatedly explaining that actors were people with problems too, and even threatening to have them fired for slanderous rumors
-they apologize profusely, one of them possibly on the verge of tears as they stumble away
-and as you whirl around, feeling somewhat satisfied with your work, you find allison watching, head tilted, eyes rimmed vaguely with red
-it jerks you to a stop
-her eyes bore into yours with a question why, with a fear of you holding this over her head, and you feel the tension and mortification rear it's head back, ready to defend and strike
-but instead of rising to the occasion, you give the most genuine shrug you can manage, one that says "i have no clue what you're talking about"
-something between you diminishes, the reared head seems to put itself to bed for good
-she gives you an puzzled, but somewhat appreciative look, a hesitant thank you
-as she turns on her heel and strides away
-you feel a door unlock between you both, an entirely new feeling
-a begrudging respect blooms, and suddenly, the world around you both shifts
-sure, you still don't like each other, but now there's civility and everybody else feels it
-you let her figure out her acting style without remark, and she doesn't jab at your personality or work
--the crew even watches on in wide-eyed shock when you both eat lunch close to one another once, silent and uncaring, one of you reading a book and the other texting
-the romance scenes go with unsaid words, you both seem to make the same silent agreement to not speak of it
-somewhere in the back of your mind, you can feel that open door between you creaking, the invitation to walk in
-you stay at the threshold
-all of the rumors, all of the nasty jabs die down, and the rest of the project goes out with a smooth finish
-you part ways but not before she can take you aside and genuinely thank you
-both of you are alone in your trailer, and the white hot stinging begins slithering throughout your limbs and stomach as she stiffly sits
-it's weirdly formal as she expresses her strained gratitude, quietly adding that she had been having a tough time
-and, with a final sigh, she relents and admits you're not as bad as she thought you were
-you gape like a suffocating fish, barely managing a "thank you" and a "you, too" as she gives you a small, but true smile
-with that particular and perfect flourish, she's gone
-on the plane ride home, you silently wonder why she was having a hard time in the first place
-three weeks after everything wraps up, you hear word that allison and her husband split
-which is horrible, terrible, awful
-but
-you have to stamp out a strange hopeful flicker inside of you
-but it doesn't ebb away, it stays like an apparent thumbtack in your side as you lie awake at night and dream of her
-you catch yourself looking off into space thinking of her lips, and her style, and everything that has anything to do with her
-it only quiets when you finally see her again at a party
-you don't speak for hours as everyone jokes and drinks, spinning around one another like opposed magnets
-but your eyes are glued to her, and you catch her staring at you more than a few times
-you walk out for some fresh air before everyone eats and when you walk back in, you find her
-unusually, she sits somberly by herself on the stairs as the rest mingle around dinner when you enter
-she watches as you breeze past her, head on her hand and sure you're pouncing on your chance to fill her spot
-but instead, you come back with two drinks and an offer
-it all begins and ends on a porch swing, both of you awkward with your words and unsure of the other's thoughts
-you offer some condolences regarding her split, she congratulates you on a nomination, you ask about her stylist and she compliments your organization
-it's an impasse
-so you decide honesty is best in this situation
-you decide it's your turn to relent
-you say you're sorry for how you've acted
-you explain yourself, but you also admit that there aren't any excuses for how you held yourself
-you tell her you've always envied her, always liked her, always wanted...
-you trail off there
-what did you want?
-the sun has gone down past the horizon and a few stars undress themselves against the dark sky, the wind breathes against your bare legs, and you look up from your thought to meet her melted gaze
-she's looking at you, and this time it looks as though she's truly seeing you
-and she grins, a full-fledge sparkly grin, picture perfect in every way
-you're a goner
-nothing had made sense before, but as your heart leaps into your throat and a throng of butterflies bursts inside of you, you realize a skewed truth
-you wanted her
-the night goes easier with a more subtle heat, as she also apologizes and explains that she had oddly felt the same about you
-she says that she had never wanted to dislike you, never wanted to keep that nasty feud between you going
-she even opens up a little about her marriage, about her life and always feeling insecure about how she made her way into her job
-you're both have somehow seen the worst of one another before anything else, and you find that all that you didn't know ironically is on the same wavelength as the other
-after that, she invites you out to various places, dress shopping, bar-hopping, all and in-between
-you're besties by like the third time you're out together
-literally glamour incarnate when you walk into any place together, style dripping on the floor as she clings to your arm, laughing at your jokes and listening to your interests with genuine intrigue
-you talk for hours as you get your nails done
-she tells you tidbits about her past, divulges her fears about her ex and daughter while you comfort her with a soft hand on her arm
-you've always wondered about the academy and her powers, but you never venture to ask
-besides, you're sure she'll tell you when she's ready
-one night a friend asks if you're dating, and you break out in a sweat at the thought
-oh god, were you dating? was all that hanging out brought with romantic subtext?
-you havent't been acting like it, there hasn't been anything explicitly said, why would people think that?
-no, it couldn't be
-but it lingers again, a thumbtack in your skin, fading but emerging again when she introduces you to her daughter, and then later, the rest of her family
-her daughter, claire, is the sweetest, and she babbles to you for hours about her favorite ice cream and her new toys
-allison catches you coloring with claire once, playfully arguing with her about why dolphins were superior to sharks
-allison never says anything, but she feels something inside of her bloom for you
-her family, on the other hand, is a grab bag of oddities
-it goes well, surprisingly, besides a few intense questions from two of her brothers as one hulks over you with massive height and the other looms with various sharp objects strapped to his body
-there's also a thirteen year old boy with the dialect of a fifty year old history teacher, an eccentric man in a skirt who you find pleasantly delightful despite him for sure being on something, and a short, shy, but lovely woman who greets you with a polite warmth
-they all ask allison if you're dating when you leave, and while she denies it, she wonders herself if what you were doing together was, in fact, dating
-but the moment never comes for either of you to ask, so you continue dancing around one another with unspoken reverence
-but a time comes for everything, and it comes one night not long after
-she's been gone for weeks, on some project in the UK and the thumbtack nags at your side every time you think of her
-it comes late at night while you walk towards your car away from a meet with some friends, deep in thought as you unlock the car
-typically, there would be a broad man in black beside of you, a bodyguard, protecting your every move, but you had sent him away for the night
-sometimes it's nice to go out with supervision, honestly
-but it was evidently a horrible night to choose to be without him, as two hooded men approach you with obviously bad intentions
-soon, you're pinned against your car as they dig through your belongings, talking all the while if you're worth the money
-you'd like to think you are, but you're too frozen with fear to joke about something like that
-when the guy pinning you pulls out a switch blade and slices a threat into your cheek, you tremble
-then, suddenly, his entire weight disappears from your back with one fluid movement
-when you whirl to get your bearings, you stare, wide-eyed as allison, strong and capable, disarms him and throws him against his friend
-you'd always assumed at the back of your mind that she surely had to know some form of martial art due to her being raised in the academy, but getting to see her in action brings the reality into double vision
-then, you watch on, shaking, as she bends down to their hunched and huddled forms, and you hear it
-"i heard a rumor..." slips her teeth, and the rest is a blur
-you watch as the men's eyes glaze over, and they stand sure but lethargically
-they walk away, slow and certain, and allison watches them go with a heaving chest and bloody knuckles
-she's so powerful, perfect in every way even if she can't see it and you burn for her
-you feel that white hot feeling surface and bleed from your skin, desire clutching your every move, and you can lock it inside of yourself no longer
-you claw your way through the wide open door
-you stumble toward her before she can even blink, hands clasping her face with every unsaid ache you hid, and you smash your lips to hers
-you can feel her fumble backwards a bit, but then her arms encircle you with fierce abandon as she moves her tongue in tandem with yours
-it's a need at this point as you make out in the middle of an alley, her grasping you as if you're about to run away from her, and you pressing yourself back with a promise in your bones
-she is not gentle with you, however you would never want her to be. she plants herself on you like an accidental bruise, paints you with her spit and desire in blood and gentleness
-you're afraid and hungry, starving for her but also wary of what may come next
-she may decide this was a mistake, it may just be for the heat of the moment, but you don't care. you can't care when she's holding you like this
-after, when your lips are swollen and she's clinging to you, she leans in with a softer, relenting kiss
-a thank you for the one before, and an oath for more to come after
-her wild glint in her eye simmers still, screaming with a thousand "i love you's" but never saying just that
-and when she asks if you're alright, when she fusses over your cut and the tremor in your frame, you'll know
-whatever comes after, the sleepless nights and delicate balance, you're ready for it all
-there you stand, body knitted against body, in the middle of a dark street
-you finally ask her if you were dating
-and she finally says yes

Can you please write about Lila with an s/o that likes to hold hands with her and is just very affectionate? Maybe they realize that she is kind of touch-starved?
soft!lila is my faveeeeeeeeeeee
--------------------------------------------------
“Lila come here,” Y/N whined from the other room the moment that Lila opened the door to their apartment.
Lila smirked at the sound of her girlfriend’s voice, kicking off her shoes and moving over to the door, poking her head around it to look at Y/N, laying down on the sofa, aimlessly flicking through the TV channels.
Y/N pouted at Lila and held out her arms.
Lila chuckled at the action and rolled her eyes a little.
“Let me put the shopping away and I’ll be right there,” she responded.
“Nooooooo - come here, please,” Y/N dragged out, putting on her best puppy-dog expression.
“You’re so needy sometimes, you know,” Lila called as she left the room, hearing her girlfriend grumbling under her breath about rejection.
“It’s just because I love you.”
Lila wasn’t surprised by the arms wrapping around her shoulders, her girlfriend essentially latching herself onto her, burying her face into her neck as she placed a kiss to her skin.
“I knew you’d come find me,” Lila chuckled.
“Again - because I love you,” Y/N responded, nuzzling even closer to her and Lila could feel her smiling against her skin.
“Yeah, yeah, I love you too - even if you’re so very clingy all the time.”
“You love my clinginess,” Y/N huffed, pulling away from Lila and pouting again. Lila smiled over her shoulder at her, missing the feeling of her arms around her more than she’d care to admit.
“I do - but only because it’s you. Anyone else tried to hug me even half as much as you do and I’d take their kneecaps.”
Y/N stared at Lila for a moment, attempting to comprehend her words and think up a reply.
“That’s... romantic.”

Falling For You (Violet Baudelaire X Fem! Reader)
Tumblr media
Request: Maybe could u do Violet Baudelaire x fem!Reader? Reader is spending time with her and Sunny, then suddenly Sunny is falling from something and both girls are trying to catch baby. Reader caught Sunny but rn Violet is on top of her and they both so embarrassed. They both have feelings for each other but they were too afraid to do a first step.
You weren’t sure what led to the circumstances of the situation you were currently in. You remembered Klaus leaving because he had something to do, you remembered Sunny waking up from a nap a few minutes later and being brought down by Violet. But if someone were to ask you how Sunny had gotten into the tree you and her older sister were now standing at the bottom of, you would have no answer.
Maybe your mind was blocking it out on purpose. She had to have somehow climbed up there herself while you and Violet were busy because neither of you would ever bring her up that high, you were certain of it.
Violet was trying not to panic because her baby sister was literally in a tree too high up for either of you to climb without snapping a branch and causing her to fall. Understandable, in your opinion.
You were trying to formulate a plan on how to get Sunny down safely without any of you getting hurt. If only Klaus had stayed, he was always the smart one. Violet was the inventive one, but her mind was racing too fast right now to come up with anything useful.
The two of you paced underneath the tree.
“Maybe she’ll be fine up there until Klaus gets back?”
“I am not leaving my baby sister in a tree for who knows how long! We don’t even know where he went or when he’ll be back! He could be hours!”
Violet had a point but right now, that was your only option without somehow injuring one of you.
The girl pulled out her ribbon from her pocket and began to tie it into her hair, eyes focused on her little sister above in the tree.
“We can build something to get her down, I’m sure we can I just need-“
Her statement was cut off almost immediately by the sound of a branch breaking. The two of you exchanged horrified looks. This was it. You’d run out of time, there was no more time for inventions or waiting for Klaus. You had to do something. NOW. Or Sunny would be a for sure goner.
Like any normal people in a situation like this, the two of you began panicked scrambling as the tree branch fully snapped and Sunny came falling down. You weren’t exactly sure if you were hoping to catch her or what, but you both ran around arms outstretched in front of you and-
SMASH!
“I GOT HER-!” Just as you shouted out in triumph over catching little Sunny Baudelaire, Violet collided with you and the two of you fell to the ground. You held Sunny close so as not to get her hurt and Violet fell almost fully on top of you.
Your faces were inches apart. This was the closest you two had ever been. You didn’t like to think about it a lot, but you’d had a sort of crush on Violet for literally forever. And by sort of crush, you mean a really big crush. At first, you’d thought it was just because she was a good friend, that it would go away with time. But it hadn’t which was very confusing and scary for you.
Now here you two were, a baby between you, breathing heavily.
“I’m sorry, (Y/n), I should’ve been watching where I was going,” she was out of breath from all the running around and at some point, her hair had fallen out of the ribbon she’d tied to focus. You wanted to respond, but the words were caught in your throat.
Sunny wriggled out of your grasp, toddling out of the awkward situation but Violet and you remained, still frozen.
“I should probably- mmf!”
Before Violet could finish her sentence, for the second time that day she was cut off. This time, however, instead of the horrifying sound of a tree branch threatening her sister’s life, she was cut off by a kiss. Your lips met hers. She was shocked at first, not really realizing exactly what was going on. Before you could pull away, however, she leaned into the kiss.
The two of you laid there on the ground kissing for a few moments before she finally pulled away. “I guess I should actually get off of you now, hm?” She asked, laughing breathlessly but now for an entirely different reason.
You smiled mischievously and pulled her back down.
“Not yet!” You grinned, pulling her in and pressing her lips to yours once more.

Shopping HC’S
𝙰𝙽: I'm sorry I keep disappearing, but i'm trying to ease back into writing a little since I took a break. Anyway, here's some shopping hc's for cashmere since she's fabulous and I adore her. Btw this is a modern au! Now, I know the fabulous person who requested this asked for an imagine, so I'll do my best to try and make one soon!
𝚆𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜: none
𝙿𝚊𝚒𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐: Cashmere x Fem! Reader
𝚆𝚘𝚛𝚍 𝙲𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚝: 331
                                                  ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
-okay, so you decided to go shopping,
-you know cashmere absolutely LOVES to shop too
-so you decided to ask your girlfriend to come along with you
-of course she said yes
-who doesn't love shopping dates?
-so you found some stores nearby
-and you got to work
-first, you found a cute boutique
-obviously she picked out some clothes for you and made you try on all of them
-you found her some new shoes too
-you left with several huge bags on your arms
-but oh no, you're not done yet
-you found a store that sold makeup and skincare
-and she found a gorgeous shade of lipgloss for you
-you also found a cute blush for her
-you were testing the gloss
-and she told you that you smeared a spot on your lip
-so she pulled your face closer
-clearly your lipgloss was flawless
-because she kissed you instead
-eventually you got kicked out of the store for making out in the lipstick isle
-so you decided to find somewhere else to spend some time
-you found a cute cafe
-and cashmere was getting tired of holding all the shopping bags
-so you got some lattes and eventually ordered some pastries too
-the entire time you talked, you felt happy butterflies
-You're dating one of the most fun people ever, how could you not?
-after that, cashmere saw a nail salon
-and you got manicures
-she flirted with you the entire time
-Those nail techs...
-oh boy
-they heard some things
-anyway
-you were getting ready to go home again
-but noticed a gorgeous purse in the window of a store
-cashmere also noticed the purse
-and insisted that she'd buy it for you
-you refused at first
-but she didn't take no for an answer
-spoiler alert: you got a new purse
-and cashmere got many many kisses because of it

Snow Day
𝙰𝙽: Okay, so she's a minor character and was only in the book for two chapters, but I miss her, so here's some hc's feat. snowy weather because it's literally so cold where I live and this is how I'm coping.
𝚆𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜: None, I think!
𝙿𝚊𝚒𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐: Platonic! Althea + Reader
𝚆𝚘𝚛𝚍 𝙲𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚝: 431
                                                       ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
-So, it snowed
-And you wanted to go outside
-Althea is perfectly happy indoors reading a book with a lavender latte
-But you weren't about to stay inside all day
-Especially when it was perfect weather for snowballs
-Plus, you got some new gloves
-So you obviously need to flaunt them
-With some convincing, you got her to come outside with you
-But you had to pick a coat that went with your gloves
-And a scarf that goes with your coat
-And boots that go with your scarf
-The list goes on
-she's wondering how she became friends with you
-she could practically hear your response in her head
- "Because I'm fabulous, Thea! Why else?"
-Anyway, you managed to get outside eventually
-And your outfit was iconic
-It's fairly calm at first
-You walked around a bit
-And just looked at some snow
-And wondered how she's not freezing
-She's literally wearing a dress and some tights
-But then
-Oh boy
-She turned to look at something
-And an idea hit you
-A few seconds later, your snowball flew through the air
-It hit her back
-She turned around with a terrifying look on her face
-For a second you thought you made a mistake and got ready to apologize
-Or run for your life
-Until you felt something cold and hard on your cheek
-She was holding a snowball
-And now had the hint of a smile on her face
-You shrieked and ran
-But at this point she was chasing you
-And this girl is fast
-Plus ice doesn't make running easy
- You got hit with that snowball
-And many others
-You forgot she could literally make ice/snow if she wanted to
-Eventually you flopped into the snow
-She stared down at you
-"What are you doing?"
-"Snow angels! They're fun!"
-She lay down beside you and made one too
-You both just lay in the snow for a few seconds
-And then you got cold
-So you went inside
-And made hot cocoa
-You put a candy cane in yours
-Althea thinks peppermint in hot cocoa is a crime against humanity
-So she only puts marshmallows in hers
-You spend the rest of the day drinking cocoa and talking

Sleepy
𝙰𝙽: Oh boy this one's kind of cheesy. Also, I don't think hot cocoa is a thing in Panem, but let's just pretend it is for the sake of the imagine.
𝚆𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜: none
𝙿𝚊𝚒𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐: Enobaria x Fem! Reader
𝚆𝚘𝚛𝚍 𝙲𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚝: 505
                                 ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
The door slammed shut and Y/n heard Enobaria quietly cursing out someone from the capitol, even though they definitely couldn't hear her at all.
She'd been out all day training and Y/n knew these days, where she saw new careers being trained were especially hard for her.
They always brought back memories both of them would rather forget.
"These Capitol idiots, one day they'll-"
Enobaria paused when she noticed her Girlfriend standing in the foyer of their home and her expression softened a little.
"Y/n I didn't see you"
"It's okay, darling. You seem stressed, are you okay?"
She sighed.
"It's fine, I'm used to it. The new careers are always hard to watch. That's all"
There was more to the story, both of them knew it, but y/n didn't want to nag and Enobaria loved her for it.
Y/n nodded as she helped her girlfriend into the kitchen
"Let's not think about that right now. I'll make some cocoa!"
Enobaria nodded. "That would be nice"
As Y/n got out ingredients, she told her girlfriend about her day.
It was a habit the two had.
If either of them had a hard day, the other would talk about theirs.
It might be a bit strange, but it worked.
Finally, the cocoa was ready, Y/n added marshmallows, sprinkles, and whipped cream.
She handed one cup to Enobaria and kept one for herself.
Then, Y/n picked up a magazine The Capitol had sent her and started flipping through it.
                                 ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
Enobaria had carefully curated an image for herself that nearly everyone saw.
She was hard, cruel and dangerous.
Just how she'd been in the games.
In all actuality, that was only partially true.
Of course she could be all of those things if she wanted, but normally, she was perfectly happy drinking a huge cup of hot cocoa with more sprinkles than anyone in their right minds would use and ranting about dresses with her girlfriend.
She glanced over to where her girlfriend was pouring over the fashion catalog she'd been sent.
Y/n circled a few dresses with a pen she'd found.
Some were absolutely gorgeous, however, some were as Y/n put it "a crime against fashion itself"
Y/n flipped the page again and the two came face to face with a huge lime green taffeta nightmare.
She flipped the magazine shut and practically flung it on a nearby table, and promptly collapsed against a china cabinet.
Enobaria tried to stop herself from laughing but her over-dramatic girlfriend was just too much.
"Anyways," Y/n gave the magazine a reproachful look.
"Are you tired? you seem exhausted."
Enobaria did look extremely tired.
She nodded slightly.
"a little"
Y/n took her hand gently.
"Come on, let's get you to bed"
                                 ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
Enobaria gazed sleepily at Y/n
She pulled the blankets over her and lay down beside her girlfriend.
I'll be here, En. If you need anything, just tell me, Y/n said softly
"Thank you"
"Of course, darling. I'd do anything for you", she whispered.
Y/n felt herself getting sleepy too as her girlfriend wrapped an arm around her and pulled her close.
"Sweet dreams, En"
"Shut up and let me sleep" She mumbled.

Hidden Feelings- Orla Mccool
Tumblr media
You never knew the exact moment you fell for your best friends cousin. It was almost like a switch had been flicked by the curly brunette that had you practically falling to your knees by the unbearable amount of butterflies just fluttering in your abdomen- when just the day before not a sight of those feelings had made an appearance.
Sometimes you think it was just her goofy nature that had your heart in its clutch, and you just hadn’t realised until it started to painfully squeeze the organ as hard as it could. Or, you think it was just the fact that she made you feel valued by always talking to you when the main three girls were enraptured in a conversation that you weren’t following along to. Or it would be the time the both of you got locked in the schools’ supply closet and Orla was forced to have her arms wrapped around your waist- because Erin had to retrieve her diary after Orla had brought it in again.
Nonetheless, all those times had added the fuel to the fire and ignited every part of yourself that had room to love with the desire of being with Erins’ cousin. It was just a shame that you hadn’t had the guts to tell her, nor to tell your friends.
It was just the feeling that these feelings you had for the girl would cause more harm than you would ever intend, not just for the confusion of Orla and your friends, but by the fragile mentality you had. You fell in love easily, but all those times it had never been this hard. And that was the main part of why you were afraid to tell the group. It was the thought that they would stop being your friends and Orla would stop talking to you, ultimately shunning you out of their lives.

                                  ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
Capitol parties were always fabulous, the outfits had to be perfect, so did everything else.
Sometimes, they were a bit boring though.
There are only so many neon-colored wigs you can see before everything blends together in an eye-burning, sparkling blur.
Y/n watched it all from a small table while half-listening to some supposedly important capitol citizen with a particularly gaudy purple wig brag about their latest and "extremely generous" donation to some fund y/n didn't know or care about.
Y/n had to admit, they liked their parties, but this one was a bit lackluster.
Boring was sometimes better though, it helped them calm down and feel less on-edge after what they'd been through in the games.
Even the sense of discomfort they always felt in The Capitol, as if they didn't truly belong, had been forgotten with the help of a glass of champagne.
Of course, they knew that The Capitol was a terrible place that did even worse things, but why focus on that if they had to be there anyway?
All the victors that could come were at this party and they were expected to stay, so why not make the most of the night?
Y/n grabbed another glass of champagne and went off to search for their friend Finnick.
They'd always been close, but lately, Y/n had been feeling a bit...strange when it came to him.
How could they describe the feeling?
They weren't sure, but they didn't really want to think about it, so they let themself drift into the sea of dancing Capitol people.
After dancing for several hours, their worries and troubles had mostly disappeared, all except for the issue of Finnick.
Something kept drawing Y/n's attention though.
Finnick, the man himself, was staring at them with a sour look on his face.
Y/n was about to ask him what was wrong, but as they turned to walk away, they felt a tap on their shoulder.
The very same Capitol person with the purple wig from before was smiling at them
"Hello, Y/n. I'm sorry, I should've introduced myself-" They tried their best to pay attention to the colorfully dressed person before them, but really couldn't with Finnick practically staring the poor person down.
Unfortunately, they weren't the only one who noticed.
"Sorry, that man by the wall- is he...you know-"
"No, don't worry about him. We're...Friends."
"Fantastic!" They smiled broadly
"In that case, may I have this dance?"
"Sure, I'd love to!" Y/n wrapped their arms around the purple-haired person's waist and swayed for a while.
"You really are special, Y/n. I'm sure you know that already, but still, I had to say it and you know you really were fantastic in the games-"
Y/n tuned them out a bit.
They did not want to hear about their games now.
They were sure the person was just trying to be polite, but with Finnick practically glaring at them, it was a bit difficult to think about anything else.
Plus, y/n really hadn't had a chance to think about their feelings towards the man until now.
Rather, they hadn't let themselves think about it but they couldn't try to forget about it anymore.
They did like him.
It wasn't even a surprise at this point.
It was just a fact.
They were sure their feelings had been there for a long time, they just hadn't wanted to acknowledge it.
Then, Finnick turned and left the room.
Oh no.
That definitely wasn't good.
Y/n looked back at their Capitol dance partner and gave them a final forced smile before the song ended.
They ran after Finnick.
He wasn't hard to find.
As Y/n burst out of the crowded room into the street, he was staring at the door, practically staring at the doors they had just exited from.
"Wait, why did you leave?" the party was only just starting!" They met him on the other side of the street.
"I didn't feel like going. You seemed like you were busy and so was everyone else."
He shrugged but it didn't seem like a genuine answer.
"Finnick, I'm sorry I should've been more forward, you'll think I'm insane. I know figured I should just say it now before things between us get..." Y/n paused "Strained"
He nodded for them to continue flashing one of his signature smiles.
There wasn't anything behind it though.
"Come on, y/n It can't be that bad. We've been friends for ages!"
"I have feelings for you. I know I should've said it earlier, but here it is."
His face fell. "Listen, Y/n, I had feelings for you. For a long time as well, but I can't do this right now. I tried to get over you for years and I thought I was done feeling that way. You just never seemed interested!"
"I wasn't" Y/n cringed at the harshness of the words as Finnick pursed his lips.
"What I meant was: I never thought about relationships until recently!"
"That's okay, Y/n. I understand. You had years to decide and I almost moved on. I just don't think I'm going to do this right now. I'm going. You should go back to the party. Please don't follow me. I need some time."
Y/n stared numbly at the blond man in front of them. "Okay. See you sometime?"
Finnick nodded. "See you sometime y/n" With that, he turned and walked down the street.
"Y/n! There you are! I thought I'd lost you for good." The purple wigged capitol resident sidled up to their table. Cashmere side-eyed them.
"Really?" she mouthed.
Y/n shrugged.
The purple-haired person was oblivious.
"I know our last dance was cut short so I was wondering if you'd like to dance again."
Y/n nodded as they had an hour before and let them get whisked back on the dance floor.
Before they'd known they had a chance with Finnick all those months ago.
Before they'd known they even liked the man.
Back when bad parties and too many glasses of champagne were the only things on their mind.
It was too late now and they couldn't go back.
No matter.
They couldn't fix any of that, so why think about it now?

𝙰𝙽: This was inspired by me getting emotional over blob fish. Sorry for any grammar/spelling mistakes, it's like 12 am and my brain is fried.
𝚆𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜: Weed and possibly suggestive comments

                                   ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
Joan grabbed y/n's hand she walked into the cabin and pulled her towards the bed
"Butterfly, I missed you!" (I feel like we can all agree she'd call you that)
"I missed you too!" Y/n smiled and lay down.
Joan lit a blunt and joined her girlfriend on the bed.
She leaned against the headboard and inhaled some of the smoke.
Y/n watched her girlfriend for a while.
She really was beautiful .
Then, she noticed Joan was looking at her.
"You want some?"
She nodded.
"Sure! Thanks, Bug!"
Y/n didn't really smoke much, but it was hard to pass up an opportunity to spend more time with her girlfriend, even if it did involve weed.
                                                        ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
A bit later, Joan went to steal some snacks from Alice's cabin.
As she returned, this time with a handful of snacks, she heard quiet sniffles.
Joan walked in and saw Y/n lying face-down on the bed, still somehow holding the blunt.
She was a little high, to put it mildly.
Y/n was really special, the girl thought.
The girl looked up with puffy eyes and Joan ran over.
"Oh my god, what's wrong?"
Y/n sobbed even harder as she was wrapped in a tight hug.
"I promise you can tell me anything. I swear if it was Kurt,-"
"No, Jo! it's blob fish!" came Y/n's muffled reply
Joan froze for a second. "Wait, what?"
"Blob fish! They deserve better! Imagine being told every day that you're ugly when you're just a cute little fish who probably wants to live a happy life in the ocean swimming with your fish friends. They're not even that bad looking!"
At this, Y/n sobbed even harder.
"Awww, sweetheart. I'm sure blob fish are told they're cute every day by amazing people like you!"
She handed her girlfriend a tissue.
"Hey, when camp is done for the year, we'll go to an aquarium, find a blob fish, and tell it how beautiful it is. That way, we'll know they're getting the love they deserve. Okay?
"You really mean it?" Y/n looked up at Joan, this time with slightly less puffy eyes.
"Of course, Butterfly!"
Y/n squealed and gently kissed her.
She still tasted weed on Joan's lips, but she didn't care.
"I love you so much, Bug"
Joan smiled, "You're so cute...Just not as cute as a blob fish"
"Rude!"  Y/n gasped dramatically and flopped over, pulling Joan down on top of her.
At that moment, Alice slammed the door open, "Hey, has anyone seen my-"
She paused as she noticed the two "Woah were you guys about to-"
"We were having a moment!" Y/n protested
They winked at the two "Have fun!"
"Bye, Alice!" Joan yelled
"Byeeeee" the girl's voice trailed off as she left the cabin.
"It's so quiet when they're not here" Joan mused
A window next to them opened and Alice peeked in .
"Just please keep it down. I need sleep even if you don't"
"GOODBYE ALICE" Y/n shrieked

honey
𝙰𝙽: none today!
𝚆𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜: None, I think!
𝙿𝚊𝚒𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐: Hugh X Fem! Reader
𝚆𝚘𝚛𝚍 𝙲𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚝: 1045
                                                     ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
"Y/n I'm bored"
Hugh gently poked his girlfriend on the nose again.
The boy had been poking her for the past 20 minutes, and Y/n finally decided to give in.
"Okay, what do you want to do?"
Hugh smiled broadly and practically leaped off the couch.
"I thought you'd never ask, darling!"
With an exaggerated flourish, he showed Y/n a book.
For a moment, she stared blankly at the page.
Then, she looked closer.
It was a cookbook.
"Honey Cake, quick and easy!" was written at the top of the page in large cursive lettering.
"Hugh," Y/n looked back up at her boyfriend
"What, Darling?"
"You know I can't bake"
"Well, now's the time to learn! It can't be that hard can it?"
She let herself get pulled off the couch by Hugh.
"You know what, You're right. It won't go too badly as long as you're there."
Five minutes later, she took that statement back.
Flour had been scattered through the kitchen, and it looked like a bomb had dropped in the middle of it all.
Hugh had gotten the genius idea to substitute honey in place of milk.
It had seemed like a good idea for roughly five seconds.
Rather, until the honey dissolved and the batter became a watery beige soup that was bubbling ominously.
It was safe to say the baking adventure wasn't going as well as the two had planned.
Y/n stared at the carnage.
"Hugh, we need to clean this up, I don't know when Miss Peregrine will come down here, but when she does, she's going to be so mad and I really don't want to be banned from the kitchen. "
"You have a point..." he mumbled.
The two had finally finished tidying the kitchen up.
There were still flour stains in mysterious places (neither of them even knew how flour could stick to the ceiling so well, but there it was) and a slightly sticky sheen on the counters, but for the most part, it looked as good as new.
Hugh sighed "Y/n I'm sorry. This wasn't supposed to go so wrong."
Much to his surprise, she started laughing.
"Hugh, this was the most fun I've had in a while."
He raised his eyebrows at her which only caused y/n to laugh harder
"Are you kidding? this was great!"
"Really?"
"Yes, Darling! Now, let's go find some honey bread that we don't have to destroy the kitchen for."
"Yes, but where would we find that?" the boy questioned.
"Hugh, there's a village outside! I'm sure we'll find some place that sells it"
He nodded.
"You're a genius! Let's go."
The two made their way through the gardens where olive had somehow managed to lodge her favorite beachball in a tree again, past the cairn, and finally, into the village.
It really was remarkable how little it had changed.
The loop truly was fabulous.
Y/n remembered a bakery she'd been to the last time Millard had brought her along for a game of "raid the village"
The two friends had been enjoying their day until a particularly angry village person had threatened y/n with a broom and she'd had to run into a store.
That store happened to be the very bakery the two were standing in front of right at that moment.
The seaside was directly to their left, a steep cliff went out far into the deep blue water as far as the eye could see.
To the right, the rest of the village sprawled out in front of them.
Perfect, just as Y/n had remembered it.
"So, here we are" Hugh mumbled, staring at the faded yellow paint peeling off the old wood plaque which read "bakery" in large letters.
"Here we are!" Y/n smiled at him, breathing in the salty air.
"Give it a try! I know it's nothing fancy but they really do have the best honey cake in all of Wales"
"Y/n, you haven't even been anywhere else in wales!"
His girlfriend gave him a look.
"Well, when you get down to it, there isn't that much competition in the way of honey cakes either, if you're comparing anything to what we made earlier, the girl countered."
"Hey, those were special! They had a lot of care put into them"
"Yes, but they were also inedible"
Hugh laughed "Let's go in, I'm sure it's lovely"
The girl pulled open the door as a bell jingled softly somewhere inside the small bakery.
It was surprisingly cozy for somewhere that had looked so uninviting from the outside, Hugh thought.
Small lace curtains hung over the window filtering the warm morning sunlight slightly.
The entire shop smelled like cinnamon and something sweet.
"Hugh! Would you please find us a seat!" Y/n jolted him out of his reverie.
"Okay, fine. but order me a lavender honey latte!" the boy said, milling around the small cafe.
"Already did it, love!" Y/n yelled from the cash register, she nodded to a small, kind-looking old man.
He motioned towards Hugh and Y/n nodded.
He wondered what she and the man were talking about.
Finally, he chose a seat by the window that looked out over the sparkling waves crashing below.
Sometimes, it truly was lovely living in the loop.
Y/n skipped to the table with a small honey cake and two lattes
She set one down in front of Hugh and one for herself.
Then, she placed the honey cake plus two small forks in the middle of the table between the two.
Y/n sat down in her chair and took a sip of her latte
"If we can't bake cakes, at least we can have one here whenever we want!"
"That's true, this one looks much better then ours"
"So you're admitting ours weren't the best in Wales?"
This time, it was Hugh's turn to give the girl a look.
"Let's try the cake, shall we?"
                                                    ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
1 hour and four honey cakes later the two were jittery.
The amount of sugar and caffeine they'd had was somewhat concerning, but that wasn't really bothering either of them.
as they left the bakery after glancing at a clock and realizing they needed to be back before Miss Peregrine threw a fit, they bought a few extra cakes for later that day.
"So," Hugh turned to Y/n as he picked up the box of cakes "How was our date?"
"It was fabulous, Honey!"

Kate Schmidt/female reader
Request
dayy-dreamerrs
dude i have literally no ideas but queer!kate bc im attached to her and im fruity 😩
(sorry this took so long I hope u enjoy!!)
The second Kate passed you the cheerleading outfit, your mind fell into a blissful daze. Briefly, your hands grazed against each other.
Your pink, increasingly red cheeks didn’t go unnoticed to Kate. Her soft smile made yours only grow, until there is a cough from Simon across the room, smirking at the two of you.
“Eat shit,” Kate growls, promptly showing her middle finger to him as you stand there, amused. “Sorry, Y/N. Feel free to change in the bathroom, let me know if you need any help and I’ll come find you.”
She smiles, before walking away to Simon.
You stand there for a moment, watching her, before rushing away to the female bathroom as directed. You laid your backpack on the closed toilet seat, before stripping down your clothes and easily sliding into the blue costume. It hugged your body in a way you hoped Kate’s eyes would stay on you.
After shoving your previously worn clothes into your backpack, you walked out of the stall and stared in the mirror. The zip at the back wasn’t closed, your pink bra underneath revealed to the other girls scattered around the bathroom. Girls who were too busy smoking, vaping or purely gossiping to notice you were asking for help.
You sigh, throw your coat on over the outfit, before walking towards the gym once again. This time, all eyes on you. All mouths motioning your name.
“Kate?” You call out quietly.
Suddenly, the dark-haired girl jumped out from behind the bleachers, Simon following behind her. She gives you a smile and rushes towards you.
“You look great!” She beams, “Have you zipped up?”
“No, I…” Your face went pink, “None of the girls in the bathroom would help me so I just came back here - is that okay? I’m sorry.”
“Don’t apologise, Y/N.”
“Okay…”
You drop your bag and coat onto the ground, before facing the opposite way from Kate. Your eyes are shut. One of her hands rest on your hip, pulling the outfit down and she uses the other hand to push up the zip.
Once ready, she spins you around and places her hands on your shoulders, your faces just inches apart.
Kate senses your anxiety, and lowers her arms, “Everything will be okay. Are you nervous about starting cheerleading? It’s really not overly complex.”
“No, I’m nervous about you..do you think people will judge me?” You end up saying, before covering your embarrassed face. Standing close to you, was Kate. The girl you’ve adored admired for months on end, and you were expressing your concerns about getting bullied.
Unexpectedly, Kate didn’t laugh. Instead, she wrapped her arms around your waist and rested her chin on your shoulder. “Nobody will judge me when I’m with you. if they do, I’ll murder them.”
You laugh, “You would murder them for me?”
“Of course. I would do anything for one of my cheerleaders - we’re like a family now,” Kate pulls away enough for your faces to meet, her hands are still resting on your waist as she smiles at you, “And for the record, I doubt anyone would talk bad about you wearing that. Seriously, you’re making me question myself right now - you look beautiful, Y/N.”
The bell rang, and you internally thanked it. You and Kate parted ways after sharing one last hug, you couldn’t find the words to say anything else. Looking down, you could see your hands were shaking nervously. You take a deep breath - maybe two - before walking in the direction of your next class.
Everyone was wrong. Kate was seen as heartless, but you knew that was far from the truth. At your audition, when you accidentally tripped over, Kate helped you remain focused and you finished without a second mistake. She helped you with your outfit, made you smile and complimented you so much your knees literally went weak.
Sitting in geometry, you could see Kate a few rows away. Apparently you shared more classes then you originally thought. Between you sat Deena, who was too preoccupied scribbling notes and sketches back and forth with Sam to notice anything else occurring during the class.
They came out as a couple the previous year. You almost cried when it happened - because someone was like you. And if Kate stayed friends with them before and after, she had to support that, right?
Possibly even be apart of that community, you thought to yourself.
“Y/N,” Kate whispered from her desk, she passed Deena a note, which Deena gave to you with a smirk.
Your face heats up as you open the note, reading ‘bleachers. 7 - Kate <3′
The butterflies in your stomach grow when you look up and see her blowing you a kiss. From the back of your mind you wondered if she was simply being a tease - that she somehow found out about your secret crush and enjoyed pushing you around. Except, her sincere smile made you remember this was Kate, she isn’t a bad person. She’s beautiful and smells like sweet lemons.
So, you gave her a nod, wordlessly agreeing you would be there.
You sat on the bench while the cheerleaders danced. Considering it was only your first day - you decided against participating in the big game. Primarily because you were scared of humiliation, but also because you wanted everything to go perfectly for Kate.
The game is still in progress, twenty minutes remain and you’re sitting under the bleaches as directed, a warm hot chocolate resting in your palms.
it’s 7:06 and zero sign of Kate.
Embarrassment infused you when you saw another couple making themselves comfortable metres away, practically dry-humping each other as you sat and drank your warm drink. You decided to wait a few more minutes before you left, when it reaches 7:15 you promised yourself to walk away.
And by the time 7:15 reached, you were walking out of the bleaches with tears filling up your eyes - she led you on because she had the advantage.
“Y/N?” A voice, one defiently belonging to Kate called out.
You looked around and saw her, “What?”
As a disguise, she wore an oversized jumper, a cap and baggy pants. You barely noticed it was her - but by looking at her pretty smile, it was obvious.
“I’m sorry I was late, coach was upset,” She walked closer towards you, and sat down on the ground, patting the spot beside her, “And I was getting changed into these clothes…I didn’t want anyone to see me.”
“Why?” You ask, “Are you…embarrassed of me? Are you embarrassed to be friends with me?”
Kate tilts her head and frowns, “You know that’s not it. I’m not embarrassed of you, Y/N. I’m…embarrassed of myself. Everybody knows people only come down here to be with the person they like.”
You stay quiet.
She continues, “And I like you…I barely know you, but I’ve seen you. In class, you’re always so observant and smart. And when you got nervous talking to me I realised that maybe you’re like me - so I made my move. And I showed up late, which I’m sorry for, but I just…I like you a lot.”
“Do you really?” You smile softly, “Because I like you - a lot - but I don’t want to say anything in case this is some sick prank.”
Instead of responding, Kate holds the back of your head with her hand and pushes your lips together. It’s soft, unlike the last few guys you’ve kissed, Kate’s lips weren’t chapped or picked at. They’re smooth and taste like cherry lip gloss, which she undoubtably uses.
Kate pulls away, “I’m not interested in girls.”
You frown, “Then why are you kissing me? Didn’t you just confess?”
Kate smiles, and tucks a loose strand of her behind her ear, “I did, and I like you. I’m not…interested in labelling myself. I’m giving you a warning, I’m not ready for this - for us - to be public. So, if you’re not interested in being a secret for however long…tell me now.”
Despite how often you’ve dreamt about walking down the hallway with Kate’s hand holding your own - you remember what it’s like to be afraid of judgement. So, you press one last kiss to her cheek, “I would love to be your secret.”
“You would?”
“Yes.”

                                                        ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
Y/n and Enoch had been friends for a while now.
42 years and 230 days exactly if you were to ask either one of them.
At the moment, they were arranging Enoch 's collection of pickled organs, as you do. However, they were interrupted by Jacob
It was clear he didn't like being around the pickled organs but whatever it was, it seemed urgent enough that he ignored them.
Don't you two ever get tired of- well-organs?
"They're important, Jacob!" Y/n protested
He glanced to the side which was a big mistake on his part.
Jacob swayed gently as he noticed several watery-looking eyes staring back at him from one of Enoch's jars.
Well, Miss Peregrine wants to see you, Y/n. Try to get back to her as soon as you can, okay?
They looked at him, confused.
"Why?"
"I'm not sure, she looked serious, but then again, she normally does. Anyways, I'd go check with her."
At that, he dashed up the stairs and slammed the door.
Jacob clearly wasn't the biggest fan of pickled organs.
"Alright." Y/n raised an eyebrow at Enoch.
He merely shook his head.
He didn't know what it was either.
                                                        ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
Several minutes later, the door to the basement crashed open for the second time that day.
Y/n ran down the stairs and practically threw themselves on the table next to a very unsavory-looking bowl of mouse hearts.
" Enoch I don't know what to do"
About what? You know how to pickle these things, you clean them, get some salt and formaldehyde-
"No, it's not that. Just, everything's so confusing I just don't know what to do right now."
The boy raised an eyebrow.
Normally Y/n would just get to the point and talk, but today seemed a bit different.
They picked their head up from the table slightly.
"Y/n, what's bothering you?"
Enoch had dropped his usually surly attitude, this definitely wasn't normal
"Y/n tell me what's going on. As much as I hate to admit it, you're starting to act like me and i don't like it"
They took in a breath and sat up finally
"Enoch, I have a cousin in another loop and they need my help. I don't know why or how they found me but either way, I'm leaving."
Enoch almost dropped his sheep's heart.
"You're what?"
"I'm leaving, I don't have a choice!"
"Y/n...yes you do! you always have a choice! What's wrong with this loop?"
"Nothing! I really want to stay, you know I do!"
He gave them a hard look
"You know what? Do whatever you want.:
Enoch slipped out of the room and slammed the door.
Y/n sighed.
They really would miss him.
They didn't know how or why but they would.
At first, they'd thought he was like a brother, but it was clear now that wasn't it.
There was something more, definitely.
A crush? This couldn't be.
The exact cliche that always popped up in the movies Y/n had watched.
Falling in love with your best friend? No! They didn't want to!
Even that couldn't mask the fact that no matter what they did or didn't want, it had happened.
They'd fallen for Enoch, and they'd fallen hard.
Perfect! Just perfect! The worst part was they probably didn't even have a chance to confess anything.
It really was sad, but y/n knew that sitting around wouldn't help anything.
They decided to start packing their things.
                                                        ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
After some time, they'd finally finished.
It really was strange how all the things in their room they'd acquired through the years could be stuffed into a few bags in a matter of hours.
Y/n had just finished hauling their very large heavy suitcases down the staircase, which they were cursing the existence of that moment when a voice from behind them jump.
"Y/n! Thank god I found you."
They turned around, nearly slapping the person who, to their relief, had stepped aside before y/n could whack them.
It was Enoch
He still looked downcast, but didn't seem to be angry at all.
" Well, I won't keep you for long... I just wanted to tell you something before you went away for good"
He paused again.
"I wanted to apologize. I don't want any hard feelings between us"
Y/n nodded. "Of course! It's okay, we can move past this. "
He smiled slightly, but didn't leave.
He almost seemed to be waiting for something.
"Enoch, is there something else you want to say?" Y/n asked curiously
"Well- yes"
"In that case, will you just say it, please? I don't have all day!" Y/n said with a small smile.
He rolled his eyes and took a breath in.
"Alright, well if you must know, I like you. I don't expect you to feel the same. This is terribly short notice too, but in case you do-"
A homunculus tapped y/n on the leg.
They looked down to see the small clay doll holding a flower.
"Is this for me?"
The tiny clay figure nodded as y/n took the flower, then skipped away.
"Oh my"
The familiar feeling came back.
The crush Y/n had tried so hard to forget.
There was no escaping it, they were head over heels for him.
Well, it was now or possibly never, what was the worst that could happen?
"Enoch, I'm leaving soon, but I want you to know that I feel the same way"
He nodded as y/n noticed his cheeks go pink.
"I should've told you earlier."
"Enoch," Y/n pulled him into a hug
"All that matters is that we both know how we feel"
                                                        ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
Five hours later, Y/n had been introduced to their new ymbryne.
Everyone had come out of the house to their goodbyes.
As Y/n waved goodbye, they felt unbearably sad.
Of course they wanted to see their cousin and meet new peculiars, but they'd stayed with these people for so so long.
It felt like they were losing too many people in too short of a time.
It felt so wrong.
Unfortunately, it had to be done, no matter how unpleasant leaving was.
Lastly, Y/n faced Enoch.
Abruptly, he pressed a kiss to their cheek, discreetly enough that even Miss Peregrine didn't notice.
"Stay safe, Y/n" he whispered.
They nodded.
"I'll be back Enoch, I promise"

𝙰𝙽: I wrote this on my porch listening to Britney Spears, while it was raining. it was EVERYTHING

                                                     ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
"That has got to be the most gorgeous girl I have ever seen"
Y/n didn't realize the words had left her mouth until she saw her sister staring at her with a knowing smile.
"Y/n! You're here! I thought you'd never make it. Due to the fact that you're clearly in love with Clove"
"Glimmer, I was 5 minutes late. Also, I am not in love with her! We don't even know each other!"
"Y/n you've walked home with me every day for the past two years. If you really think I wouldn't notice you staring at Clove, you're wrong. You're clearly in looooooove!" Glimmer cooed.
"I'm not in love with her! I just admire her. A lot!" Y/n protested
Suuuure that's what you always say! Then a few months later it's all "Glim, can you sew me a dress? I'm busy and she might ask me on a date! And Glim! Do my shoes match my nails? I want to impress her!"
Y/n gave her sister a look.
"Come on, it's time for you to meet her!"
"No, no no don't do it"
Unfortunately, Glimmer's excited waving got Clove's attention.
she looked up and smiled, carefully putting down several knives
"if I have to flirt with her for you, I swear..." Glimmer hissed through gritted teeth
"Glim, I will kill you! Y/n whispered back
She merely laughed.
"It's time for you to get to know Clove!"
Glimmer dragged y/n by the wrist towards where the dark-haired girl was talking with a tall blond boy.
"This is my sister, Y/n, she was admiring yo-"
Y/n clapped a hand over Glimmer's mouth before she could spill anything of importance.
"Hi, I'm Y/n! You must be Clove?"
The girl nodded and smiled.
"Your sister told me about you! you're even prettier than she described! And so far, a lot less irritating."
Had Clove just called her pretty?
Y/n forgot to breathe for a few seconds and merely smiled.
That is, until Glimmer's voice came from behind them.
"Rude!"
Y/n turned and came face to face with her sister.
She'd forgotten how good she was at eavesdropping.
Clove sighed
"Glimmer, It's so great to see you again. Especially since I thought I'd be rid of you by now..."
"Oh come on, What's not to love about me? I have a gorgeous sister who's very single and my family owns the most luxurious boutique in district one!"
"That right there! That's unlikable!"
"Suuure, Kentwell. Dream on! Just try to hate me. It's impossible!"
"Wow, Glimmer that was really smooth" Y/n whispered
"Y/n, not you too! You're supposed to defend me!"
Thankfully, Glimmer had unknowingly saved her sister from a potentially very awkward conversation.
                                                     ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
As soon as the two had left the training center, Y/n pulled her sister aside. "Glim, have you been trying to set me up with her?" she shrieked
"Well, it's obvious that you're starstruck, but if you'd rather fend for yourself..."
"I'm not starstruck!"
Glimmer raised an eyebrow
"Okay fine, maybe I am a little starstruck. That doesn't matter though! How do I even tell her I like her!"
"I thought you'd never ask!"
All through the walk home, the two Belcourt sisters discussed getting Clove's attention.
"I don't even know if she likes me that much! I mean we've talked once. Today. Because of you!"
"Y/n she called you pretty. I'd say you have a shot"
"Well, yes, but lots of people can call you pretty, but it doesn't mean they all want to date you"
"Oh, believe me. She wants to date you"
"But how do you know"
"Y/n I have my ways! I just know. Just wear something fabulous tomorrow. You're going to talk to her again whether either of you like it or not!"
                                                     ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
Y/n had one more hour to prepare for Clove.
She didn't really know why she was even doing this, she'd only met the girl once officially and she had no idea what could possibly happen in 24 hours.
The whole idea seemed a bit ridiculous, but for some reason, it felt a bit like Y/n was working towards something instead of doing nothing at all.
She smiled as she found a small pink skirt and a frilly blouse and got to accessorizing.
She would look stunning, she was sure of it.
As Y/n poked around her closet searching for accessories, she felt her mind going back to clove, wondering if she'd like the bracelet with a heart better than the floral one?
would she think y/n's rings were excessive?
What about necklaces?
She had to look absolutely fabulous if she wanted to get Clove, that's what her sister had been hinting at, of course, but she just didn't know what to do!
She barely knew her and she was already trying to get noticed.
What was she doing?
Y/n knew it wasn't just her sister who was to blame.
She'd always loved the idea of romance as well.
She just really did want to find someone.
Someone who was truly unforgettable and made her heart skip.
A certain someone Y/n knew definitely fit that description.
As Y/n spritzed herself with a cloud of her favorite perfume, she glanced in the mirror.
The girl she saw looking back at her was immaculate.
Glimmer would've been proud.
Y/n took a deep breath and smiled.
She could practically see her sister in the back of her mind nodding approvingly and telling her to go after Clove.
"Go get your girl, Y/n! Before she's gone for good"
Just as Y/n stepped out of her family's boutique, ready to meet Clove, she saw two sisters walking down the street.
They had nervous looks on their faces and were clutching their shopping bags so hard, their knuckles were turning white.
As they walked closer to her, Y/n noticed them from school.
They weren't really close, but they'd always been kind to her and glimmer.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
She'd never seen anyone that stressed before.
"Y/n I'm so sorry." one of the girls looked up at her.
She was confused. Why was the girl sorry?
Her sister nudged her and whispered something in the other's ear.
"Oh- Y/n I don't know if I should tell you. Glimmer should be the one to break the news, we're here for you though. If you ever need anything..."
Y/n noticed a small group of people staring at her from across the street.
She felt a sense of unease growing.
There was something really wrong happening.
"No, please! Tell me! What's going on?"
The other sister pursed her lips.
"Glimmer's been selected to volunteer at the reaping."
"Oh."
Y/n didn't know what to do.
She knew that her sister was talented and very well-liked. Of course, she was!
the Belcourt family was extremely well known and it seemed too fitting that the sister who wasn't set to take over the store would be selected.
That lead Y/n to another thought.
Clove.

                                                   ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
Y/n knew this wasn't going to be easy.
Coin's Execution was happening very very soon and she was panicking.
Katniss was actually doing the executing itself, meanwhile, Pollux, y/n, and her girlfriend Cressida were working with the media.
They'd been practicing their strategies for camera angles and sound systems for a while now and it simply wasn't helping anyone calm down, no matter how much they tried.
"We'll be fine, there's no need to worry, everything is going as planned, we just need to finish setting up and everything will be alright"
Y/n had begun mumbling incoherently for the past 5 minutes and truly felt like she was going insane.
Finally, her girlfriend couldn't take it anymore and pulled her aside.
"Listen, this isn't easy for anyone, but I know you will be fine. I'll be right here with you. You're one of the most capable people here, and I know we'll get through this."
"Thank you, Cressida. You're right, we'll be fine."
She nodded and flashed Y/n a small smile.
"Let's finish setting up. It's only a few more cameras."
Pollux, who had been eavesdropping (even though he'd never admit it) nodded.
After some time, a crowd had assembled.
It was time for the execution and Y/n was positively shaking.
She'd never been to an execution before, let alone film it.
Plus, however cruel Snow had been, she still wasn't exactly in love with the idea of watching someone get killed.
She tried to shake it off though.
She had a duty to fulfill, and she was going to record everything that happened.
It was important work!
Finally, it was time.
Y/n focused her camera on Katniss.
The two had become friends in their time at their bunker.
She knew Katniss didn't like the idea of killing another person, but unfortunately, there was no other way.
"Come on, you can do this," Y/n whispered, more to herself than anyone else.
She looked to her left where Cressida was focused on her camera.
She noticed and took Y/n's hand.
Y/nn offered a small smile, "We'll get through this, no matter how crazy things seem" she thought.
Katniss took some deep breaths, then released her arrow, but it wasn't Snow that fell to the ground.
No, it was Coin.
As The silver-haired lady fell, Y/n stopped breathing.
What was happening?
Chaos ensued.
Y/n felt her head spinning, she saw her girlfriend reaching out, trying to catch her, and then, nothing.
"Y/n, I'm here, it's fine. You're safe!"
Cressida gently shook her girlfriend.
Y/n was curled up and still shivering.
Once again, Cressida shook her, a bit harder this time.
Slowly, she relaxed a bit as her eyes fluttered open.
"I'm sorry, I keep on having that dream, with Coin, and you, and Snow and he -"
"Y/n, it's okay. Come with me."
Cressida took her rather sleepy girlfriend by her hands and they walked through their apartment.
They'd moved there several years ago after things had calmed down and they could return to the capitol.
It was, of course, where they were both from, and felt most at home.
The two eventually made it to the kitchen.
Cressida filled a kettle with water and put it on the stove, meanwhile, Y/n got an idea.
She poked at the radio she'd set up in the kitchen, It beeped quietly for a few seconds.
Cressida eyed the teapots on a shelf.
Just as she'd chosen one from the many, she nearly dropped it as a song came blasting from the tiny radio Y/n had insisted on getting.
It must have been an older song, Y/n had certainly never heard it, but it didn't matter.
She turned to see Y/n dancing with a huge smile on her face.
"What?"
Cressida raised her eyebrows.
"Y/n it's two in the morning!"
It's never too late to have fun!"
She sighed.
Her girlfriend did have a point.
"Fine"
Y/n pulled Cressida along with her and the two danced around their kitchen until the song ended.
The tea kettle began to whistle and Y/n poured it into the pot she'd selected.
The scent of chamomile filled the room as she filled two cups of tea.
"Thank you, Cressida"
Her girlfriend looked up from her tea, confused.
"For what?"
"This. Waking me up when I have nightmares, making tea at two am because I can't sleep, calming me down. You're always there for me and it means a lot."
Cressida took her hand.
"Y/n, you know I love you, right?"
She nodded.
"I want the best for you, if this happened to me, I know you'd do the same. Now, will you dance with me?"
Cressida took Y/n's hand as she'd seen the princes do in the movies her girlfriend was always watching.
She smiled brightly,
"I thought you'd never ask"
Even though the radio was still only playing commercials, it didn't matter.
As the two waltzed around their kitchen with their little radio playing in the background and chamomile tea getting colder by the second, they knew neither of them would've wanted it any other way.

hii i have a request for a finnick story. so i was thinking maybe if it was during the quarter quell and the reader is a victor for district 1 or something and her and finnick hate each other but secretly care about each other. the reader ends up leaving her alliance with the careers to join finnicks group forming an alliance at some point in the games. THANKS!!
𝙰𝙽: It's been a while since I read Mockingjay, so I'm sorry if some details are off. Thank you so much for requesting!
𝚆𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜: Mentions of violence
𝙿𝚊𝚒𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐: Finnick X District 1! Fem! Reader
𝚆𝚘𝚛𝚍 𝙲𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚝: 1286
                                                       ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
The quarter quell had been an absolute nightmare for everyone. even the careers
As they all milled around a clearing in the forest, they all had the exact same worries.
They were all terrified, for themselves, and each other.
Y/n had almost gotten stabbed, and Gloss hadn't been doing too well either.
Even Brutus looked visibly stressed.
Meanwhile, Enobaria had been glancing around the small clearing shiftily. The careers had decided to stay in a part of the arena that didn't look as dangerous, yet the tension was almost unbearable.
The entire experience had been even worse than Y/n's first hunger games, mainly because people very close to her were very likely to be killed,
Also the absolutely insufferably cocky district four boy was in the arena with her.
He'd even had the nerve to recited a love poem he'd written to someone in his interview.
Y/n couldn't imagine anyone actually wanting to spend more than five minutes with him and his overall demeanor.
She truly couldn't stand him, or his deep blue eyes. Why anyone would ever want to date him, she didn't know.
Why he thought he had a chance with someone, she didn't know either. But, she wasn't one to judge, and the topic of him dating someone merely made her feel angry, so she decided to shove all thoughts of Finnick and his love life out of her already racing mind.
What y/n did know for certain, was that she'd do everything in her power to make sure that those in her alliance stayed alive.
At that moment, monkey mutts, hundreds of them appeared and began running towards the group.
Y/n tried to focus, but there were so many of them, and she certainly didn't want any of them to catch up with her.
She couldn't place where they were coming from, but she didn't really need to at the moment.
What she needed, was to keep her allies safe.
The careers scattered.
Their previous attempts at sticking together were not working out as well as they had hoped.
Gloss dashed towards the ocean, meanwhile, Brutus ran through some bushes.
Enobaria had already disappeared, no doubt trying to get away from the horrible little mutts as well.
It was at that moment that Y/n realized something: She was all alone.
She really needed a plan.
However, with the monkey's shrieking playing in her head, practically driving her insane, it was hard to think straight.
She ran in the direction she thought Gloss had gone, but only succeeded in getting lost.
Finally, she found an area that was thankfully, small-primate-free.
Y/n was left with the terrifying feeling of being alone, and very very vulnerable.
She'd dropped her spear and there was no way that the others were unarmed.
She knew some hand-to-hand combat, but not enough to save herself if someone else had a knife.
Or worse, a bow and arrow.
                                              ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
At that moment. she heard voices.
Internally swearing, she crouched behind some vines as Finnick, Mags, Johanna, Katniss, and Peeta came into view.
They looked like they were arguing about something, Y/n only hoped that they would leave as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, that was not the case.
They all sat down and appeared to be setting up a place to stay.
Perfect.
Just perfect.
She had no way of escaping and Finnick, that idiot was with them.
She just couldn't believe how his hair still looked that good!
Wait, what?
She didn't know where that thought had come from, but she didn't particularly care, as long as she never needed to think about it again. ever.
If only there was a way for her to escape...
At that moment, a tree branch cracked and fell to the ground, startling her.
Y/n promptly tipped over and fell into plain view.
Everyone looked up and froze.
"Who is that?" Peeta asked.
Finnick, that idiot, walked over.
"Look who it is" Finnick pulled her up onto her feet with a hard expression on his face.
Y/n cringed slightly.
You two know each other?" Peeta asked, sounding more confused by the minute.
"Of course, they do. Finnick couldn't take his eyes off of her at the interviews. All through the training, I couldn't tell if they wanted to murder or kiss each other, but it was definitely one of the two. Don't act like you didn't see it." Katniss whispered.
That warranted a glare from the two.
"Listen, I don't think you like me very much, but I need to join your alliance."
Y/n was desperate at this point and this seemed to be her best bet if she didn't want to get murdered.
She really didn't want to rely on anyone, especially not Finnick, but she didn't have any other choice at the moment.
He nodded. "We'll make it work."
Finnick sighed, He didn't want to ever talk with the district 1 girl ever again.
He hated to admit it, but Katniss was right.
Y/n seemed to despise him, despite his best attempts at flirting.
He'd even written her a poem and recited it for the entire capitol to hear.
She certainly was special, and it would be better if he didn't have to kill her.
                                              ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
Several hours passed and the group, plus y/n, decided to move on.
They'd been walking for a while when she recognized the area they were in.
There weren't any monkey mutts this time.
Y/n was just beginning to relax when she heard something.
The sound of wings, along with Finnick shrieking.
"Y/n stop screaming You're not helping anyone!" Finnick yelled.
"Me? You're the one screaming! Could you maybe stop it? Just let me think!"
"Just shut up! You two weren't screaming up until now and it's not helping anything." Johanna was standing off to the side, completely calm as the entire group dissolved into chaos.
She did have a point.
Y/n remembered something.
She'd been told that Jabberjays echoed the screams of the person one cared about the most.
Why on earth were they echoing Finnick?
She realized then and there, it was all so obvious.
Maybe she did want to kiss him.
Had she been jealous all this time?
Why hadn't she noticed this earlier?
How on earth would she deal with this?
She was in the Quarter Quell of all things, definitely not the most romantic place to confess your love to someone.
Y/n took a few deep breaths, she knew that the screams weren't real.
It was a bad time to tell Finnick her feelings, but it was better now than never.
"Finnick, I need to tell you something"
Y/n was practically shaking, but she still persisted.
How do I say this...I hated you- I thought I hated you... She paused to take a deep breath.
Finnick hoped this was going the way he thought it was. Did she like him? She couldn't possibly. After all, she'd basically admitted to wanting to murder him. But had she? She'd never said it specifically.
"I like you. I didn't want to admit it, but I like you. A lot. I understand if you don't feel the same, but- she paused again no doubt, thinking she'd said something very wrong.
"Can we kiss?" Finnick asked.
This must be a dream. A fever dream, but still, a very, very good one.
Y/n thought as she melted into the kiss.
"Oh my god. What is it with you two? I can't believe I decided to ally with this group", Johanna hollered over the Jabberjays.
"Because we're better than the careers, of course! Sorry, y/n not you." Finnick yelled back.
She shook her head.
Y/n could still see a hint of a smile on her lips.

Ice cream for breakfast
𝙰𝙽: I hope this is okay! I tried to make it a bit summer themed. After all, who doesn't like ice cream? Also, I hope it was romantic enough! I think it turned a bit fluffier than I'd hoped. Sorry!  By the way, this song kind of reminded me of the fic!
𝚆𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜:  none
𝙿𝚊𝚒𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐: Horace X Reader
𝚆𝚘𝚛𝚍 𝙲𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚝: 1055
                                                        ๑*˚🍓˚*๑
Y/n opened their eyes to moonlight streaming in through their lace curtains.
They tried to close their eyes, but after a while, it became apparent that sleep would not come.
They chose an outfit and padded down the stairs, careful not to wake anyone.
As usual, they found their best friend sitting near a window with a small cup of espresso and a book.
He looked absolutely beautiful in the morning light.
With his coffee nearby, he looked as if he'd come straight out of a Hollywood movie.
"Good morning, Horace" Y/n whispered. "I couldn't sleep either."
At that moment, Horace got a strange look on his face.
"Do you want to go on a walk?"
"Where?"
"We can decide on the way!"
"Of course!"
Y/n pulled Horace from his chair and the two tiptoed out of the house as quietly as they could.
                                                        ๑*˚🍨˚*๑
The sky was still an inky black with small swashes of purple and light blue just beginning to appear on the horizon.
They walked through the garden where crickets were starting to quiet down.
They then went through the cairn until they reached the village.
The two walked through row after row of quaint houses, pointing out the occasional cat that had fallen asleep in a flowerbed, or waving to fellow early risers, who were on their way to the market.
Y/n and Horace eventually circled back to where they'd began their walk.
"Do you want to go back?" Horace asked
Y/n sighed. "Not really" they'd been so caught up in talking with Horace, they'd hardly realized they were back where they'd began.
"Me neither"
Y/n realized another thing very fast.
They hadn't had breakfast.
Horace's eyes lit up "I know just the place"
He grabbed y/n by the wrist and the two ran through the village
                                                         ๑*˚🍨˚*๑
They eventually stopped at an adorable shop painted pastel blue.
Y/n looked up at the sign.
"Ice cream? For breakfast?
Horace merely smiled.
"If the bird finds out, She'll kill us, so don't mention this when we get back. Can you do that Y/n?"
They laughed.
"What she doesn't know can't hurt her"
                                                         ๑*˚🍨˚*๑
The bell on the door tinkled as the two exited the shop, giggling madly, carrying the largest strawberry sundae either of them had ever seen.
"So," Horace mumbled "Where do we want to eat breakfast?"
Y/n's eyes lit up as they glanced towards the pebbly shore of the beach nearby.
                                                         ๑*˚🍨˚*๑
They pulled Horace towards the shore and the two bounded to the beach,
Once they reached the sea, they both stopped.
The sun was beginning to rise and the stars were still out.
Birdsong filled the cool air and the smell of flowers just beginning to bloom mixed with salt made the moment feel like it was straight out of a fairytale.
They sat down, placing the sundae between them.
At that moment, Horace grabbed y/n's hand.
"Y/n, I'm sorry if this is a bit abrupt, but I want to say something."
He took a deep breath in and continued.
"I don't mean to shock you, I felt like I needed to tell you. we've been friends for a while now, but I've realized I like you. More than a friend. I suppose this is me asking you out, gosh I hoped I'd do it with more grace and if you'd rather we stay friends, that's perfectly fine,-"
Y/n cut him off "Can I kiss you?"
he nodded
It felt better than any they'd ever had. It was sweet and gentle, as if it had come straight out of a story book.
A few moments later, the two were breathless and dizzy, yet smiling, As if all their dreams had come true.
They had, to some degree.
"Does this mean...Are we..."
"Dating?" Horace asked
"Mhmm"
"If you'd like" he whispered with a cautious smile
Y/n smiled.
"I would love it"
Horace clasped their hand in his and the two lay back on the beach.
The sun had risen more and had made the already humid day even hotter.
It was at that moment that y/n remembered something.
They cast a glance at their ice cream sundae which had suffered a rather unfortunate fate.
"Oh no" they mumbled.
It had, for the most part, become a puddle of strawberries and sprinkles, only a small chunk of  ice cream floating defiantly in the middle had remained cold.
"Cheer up, darling! It's still good. Who doesn't like melted ice cream? I think it's better when it's like this."
"Really?" Y/n side eyed Horace.
"Don't look at me like that, it's not too strange"
Y/n eyed him suspiciously "You and your ice cream soup are so weird"
"You call it soup like it's a bad thing"
"Ice cream soup? Yes, It's a bad thing!"
"Well, I like it." Horace dramatically turned away from y/n as he popped a strawberry in his mouth
Y/n gave him a playful shove.
"don't make me spill my ice cream soup, y/n!" he yelped.
They giggled "Alright. Well, I'll won't...If you kiss me again."
"I suppose I could manage that"
                                                        ๑*˚🍨˚*๑
Horace had finished his ice cream.
It must have been at least seven in the morning and the sounds of the village could be heard over the crashing waves.
"We should probably go back before The Bird gets worried" Y/n mumbled.
Horace sighed "All I want is to be here with you, I wish we could stay here forever."
They rested their head on his shoulder.
"I do too"
"I'd even eat ice cream soup if it meant staying here for a while longer." Y/n added
Horace whipped his head around to face them.
"You know, If you were anyone else, I would throw you in the sea"
"I do, darling."
That gave y/n an idea.
"Let's go swimming!"
Horace stared at them as if they were insane. "But my suit!"
He gestured to his outfit which had already gotten quite wrinkly from the pebbles on the shore.
"Come on! It'll be fun! I'll help you make a new one when we get back home. "
He sighed as y/n pulled him towards the waves.
After all, it couldn't hurt if they spent a few more hours there.
"We have all the time in the world, let's make it fun!" his partner yelled as they dashed into the salty water.
