I look in the mirror and all I see is wrong.
I should have wings, or horns, or gashes covering my figure from head to toe.
I'm supposed to be unsettling or divine or infinite.
I'm a dragon, or a God, or space itself and everything in it.
I'm a million years of life and creation stuffed inside a thin lined sack. It is finite, with a finite life, and it's uncomfortable.
I constantly feel like bursting at the seams by all that is being stuffed into a human body. It doesn't fit. I'm too much, and my head is full. My bones ache with the weight of years, upon years of life and love and laughs. A human body should not be able to withstand.
Many times, I wish I could go back to them and change my form as I need it, but I also enjoy this life. I enjoy every life I live, and in the next one, I believe I will look back and remember in my hearts of hearts how this life has shaped my soul. Although old and weary as my soul is, I will take in as much as possible.
Maybe one day I can go back to the universe, the divine light, the blood that flows in every living being and be myself again
