LOTRO: How to Fight and Survive
Around the same level:
Weak enemies: Just attack is enough
Strong enemies: Try to defence/heal until enemies run out of mana, then switch to attack
Note that fighting on horse is stronger.
Also note that some classes, eg. Rune-keeper has very much of mana and can fight for long.

Game Mechanics in LOTRO
Map levels
World, 5 countries (Eriador, Rhovanion, Rohan, Gondor, Mordor), regions, areas, subareas, caves.
Instance
Specific quest area of one player, no other players
Session
Similar to instance, 1 player only, but it's sandboxed, everything in the session is cleared when it ends
Time changes
eg. in Helm's Deep, click items near the map table to change time
Time is important to go to the correct coords of certain quests.
Time change will affect the related areas only, common areas are still as usual.

The Easiest Class in Guild Wars Nightfall
These are the classes
Warrior
Ranger
Monk
Necromancer
Mesmer
Elementalist
Paragon
Dervish
Warrior has both healing and armour.
Monk has more healing abilities to cast but the same amount of mana -> not much useful.
Warrior seems the easiest class to play for survival.

My Personal Style in RPGs/MMORPGs
Class
Choose the easiest class to play (usually healer)
Healer is common, but if any character class with better survival abilities, that class should fit best
Goal of playing
Play for stories, not to waste time for all classes.
Create more characters for classes for stories
Or create more characters for races for stories

Order to Play Quests of Different Regions in LOTRO
Play quests in level order, even if the character is strong or survivable (eg. healer can survive better), because some enemies of higher levels get immune to damage.
Overview of the order of play
War in the North (Eriador): The Witch-king
War in Rohan: Saruman
War in Gondor: Sauron
Last region: Mount Doom
The best order is
First, play from the beginning to last region in Rhovanion (Lothlorien) and go to The Great River.
Second, play to Kingstead (Edoras) where there are 3 possible ways next: To Isengard direction (Merry, Pippin, Rohan war), to Gondor direction (Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Gondor war), to Mordor direction (Frodo, Sam).
To avoid the immunity problem of enemies, play in this order: (1) To Isengard, then (2) to Gondor, then last (3) to Mordor.
Note about the above order :
After Westfold and Isengard, go to the Paths of the Dead (PotD), but after the PotD, go to Old Anorien (Minas Tirith) instead of Far Anorien (extra area, higher levels than Old Anorien).
The Roads:
Recommended play order: Main quests (Epic) first, if out of current region, do side quests. Or at least, complete main quests of current region before moving to next region.
Eriador
The Shire -> Bree-lands -> Lone-lands -> Trollshaws -> Eregion
And other regions in Eriador
Rhovanion
Moria -> Dimrill -> Lothlorien
And other regions in Rhovanion
Rohan
The Great River -> 3 ways (in order of levels):
Merry/Pippin's way: Fangorn -> Isengard
Aragorn/Legolas/Gimli's way: Regions to Kingstead -> (1) Kingstead -> Isengard, and (2) Kingstead -> Paths of the Dead
Frodo/Sam's way: Cross quickly to Ithilien (hard levels, continue to Gondor first)
And other regions in Rohan
Gondor
Blackroot Vale -> Lamedon -> Central Gondor -> Dor-en-ernil -> Lebennin -> Lossarnach -> Pelennor (Minas Tirith) -> Osgiliath -> Ithilien
And other regions in Gondor
Mordor
Ithilien -> (1) The Wastes, (2) Morgul Vale -> Gorgoroth -> Mount Doom
And other regions in Mordor

MMO Games: EU Servers vs NA Servers
EU (Europe) servers:
Lots and almost all English speakers, easy to chat
NA (North America) servers:
So many Asians (nothing racist here), can't even chat with them in English
But for some game genres, eg. shooters, the good ping is always required to play the games, NA servers are needed, even Asian servers.

The Lord of the Rings, in Short
Volume 1: The Fellowship of the Ring (Formation of the fellowship) -----------------------------------------
Sauron orders elves to forge the 9 rings and 7 rings. Nine given to the 9 kings of men, who later die and become Nazgul (Black Riders) as servants of Sauron.
Sauron himself creates the One ring which is the most powerful ring. Sauron conquers the Earth (Middle-earth) but is fought back by men, gets defeated by Isildur king of Gondor and Isildur gets the ring, and Isildur later dies because of the One ring. Gollum got it and passes to Bilbo. Bilbo passes to Frodo.
The Shire, Bree-lands, Rivendell:
Nazgul gets to the Shire to recover the ring. Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin run to Bree, meet Strider (who is Aragorn the prince in heir of Gondor, descendant of Isildur). They continue running away from Nazgul to Weather Top, and Rivendell.
At Rivendell, it is decided to destroy the One ring in Mount Doom, and the fellowship is formed by 9 persons: 4 hobbits are Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, 2 men are Aragorn and Boromir, 1 elf is Legolas, 1 dwarf is Gimli, and Gandalf who is actually a Maia spirit.
Eregion, Misty Mountains, and Moria:
The fellowship passes thru' Eregion, Misty Mountains but fail to cross Misty Mountains and turns back to go through Moria. Gandalf fights with a balrog, kills it and dies but as being a spirit he returns back as Gandalf the White.
Volume 2: The Two Towers (Rohan-Isengard war near Isengard tower, and Gondor-Mordor war near Morgul tower) ---------------------------------
Lothlorien, and the Great River:
After Moria, the fellowship comes to Lothlorien the land of the elves; and continue on to the Great River (River of Anduin).
The Split into 3 groups:
After Great River, Boromir dies by arrows of the orcs. Frodo doesn't want people die while protecting him and split to his own way to Mount Doom with Sam. Frodo and Sam go through Osgiliath, and the war between Gondor and Mordor.
Merry and Pippin are captured by the orcs to Isengard tower, and the 3 Hunters: Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli chase them to rescue. After, found out Merry and Pippin escaped the orcs. Merry and Pippin live with the ents and later help in Rohan-Isengard war together with the elves.
The Three Hunters go to the Paths of the Dead, and Gondor before reaching the Black Gate. The 3 Hunters and Gandalf go through Edoras, and the war between Rohan and Isengard. Saruman dies falling off the tower. And after, the Three Hunters and Gandalf ride to Minas Tirith the capital of Gondor to join the direction of Frodo and Sam.
Side note: In the game LOTRO, the spit by which player should play (not the story split) is done at Kingstead of Rohan into: Eastfold, Westfold, and Paths of the Dead.
The Black Gate and Morgul:
The Three Hunters, Gandalf, Merry, Pippin and the armies of elves, Rohan, Gondor fight at Black Gate to distract Sauron, attract all orcs to Black Gate so Frodo can move from Mordor wall in to Mount Doom. Frodo and Sam sneak through Morgul into Mordor and destroy the One ring. Sauron doesn't die after the ring is destroyed, possibly he's the immortal Devil, but has power diminished.
Volume 3: The Return of the King (Aragorn returns and become King of Gondor) Traditionally this is still part of volume 2.

Playing Order of LOTRO towards Isengard and Mordor
The levels change quite smoothly from the start (The Shire) to Moria in Rhovanion, to The Great River in Rohan.
But after Kingstead, it leads to Eastfold and Westfold.
The levels between Eastfold in Rohan and the next region Beacon Hills in Gondor is quite different.
After finishing Eastfold, going to Beacon Hills isn't directly an option. Head back to Westfold to go to Stonedeans, to Isengard first is the option.
After all from the Westfold direction (including Gondor from Blackroot Vale), head back to Eastfold to continue in Beacon Hills (quests from Ost Rimmon), to Mordor.

How to Play a Region in LOTRO If It's Not Unlocked? aka How to Unlock It?
Reach the desired level of the region See: https://lotro-wiki.com/wiki/Quest_Levels a) Play higher-level regions get levelled up faster. b) It's possible to receive quests 5 levels before the desired level, eg. Beacon Hills requires at least level 103, thus the character should be at at least level 103 - 5 -> 98
Go to the wiki to find the list of quests of region See, eg.: https://lotro-wiki.com/wiki/Category:Far_Anórien:_Beacon_Hills_Quests a) Click the quest to see the table with "Starts with" on the right of region page. b) Click the person name and see "Map Ref" to see the exact location on map to interact with. c) Note that the starting NPC may not give quest even if having enough levels, some quests/regions needs completion of certain Epic quests or previous quests in chain
