Angelic Pretty's Strawberry Doll might not be a crowd favourite among AP's Strawberry print dresses, but it's the ultimate all-rounder for me - perfect for cafe hopping, fancy dinners, or even frolicking in the park. Plus it's subtle and comfortable enough for travel and works well for dressy events like a work buffet (minus the twin tails, of course!) Anyone else out there have a favourite underrated print?

Black cat or white cat? As long as they carry your stuff, they’re purrfect! That’s why I snagged both of these La Luice Stylish Lace Cat Rucksacks – my indecisiveness paid off! (At least, that’s what I keep telling myself)

After seeing Innocent World's Jewel Cat Bag, which come with different coloured ribbons, I was inspired to accessorise my kitties with clips and coloured ribbons to make them more compatible with various outfits!

It’s a whole lot roomier than any plush bag and even some normie bags. I was stunned that it could accommodate an entire 450ml vacuum bottle and a foldable umbrella on top of my purse and other essentials! Of course, accessing your stuff, especially the ones right inside, might require some feline agility.

Throwback to Fuzzy's post-surgery fashion statement after she had to get a hernia removed 2 years ago. It was a challenging period for us all, making sure this monkey didn't disturb her stitches. Halloween throwback! My cats joined in the fun too. I’ve always wanted a picture with my void while wearing this void-themed dress!

Also, I couldn't resist flaunting my magical cat sceptre from Angels Heart, an impulse purchase I made two years back and regretted because I couldn't find a use for it. I love how matchy matchy my necklace and earrings are with the sceptre, all featuring a cat perched on a crescent moon. 🌙🐱

hi angie!! do you know any taobao stores that does custom lolita headwear? i'm specifically looking for a green+white or navy (or ay combination thereof) bow to match ap's moon night theater op in green, and the color isn't really a common one in lolita. thank you!

Hi! Sorry I’m not much of a bow person so I can’t personally recommend anyone who does custom bows. However, I believe most people who do custom Lolita accessories are now on Xianyu rather than Taobao.

可爱小楠没烦恼 does custom accessories but mostly sweet. She does mention that she will occasionally do classic designs.

Ada艾达手作 is my personal favourite for headwear. You can just show her a picture of your dress and she’ll custom make the headwear based on it. However most of her portfolio is bonnets and I’m not sure if she makes bows.

You can also see if there’s an original design you like and ask the seller if they can change the colours. They’re usually happy to do it if they have access to the required fabric/materials.

Hopefully anyone else who’s knowledgeable about custom bows on Taobao can chime in!

I absolutely adore the fairytale castle print on this Angelic Pretty Castle Mirage Princess-sleeve Dress! I hope I can wear it to Disneyland some day. That said, it's not the most comfortable dress for walking around. I wore two petticoats for this, a hoop one and a tulle one. Oh well, it's fun to dream. 😅 Not many accessories this time as it was quite a spontaneous decision to wear it.

I got this dress on Xianyu in 2020 because the price was a bargain. I was a complete newbie to the platform then, and I was touched by the seller’s kindness. They not only agreed to deal with a foreigner with a 3-no account (no feedback, no transaction, no reputation) but also stayed calm and patient when I had trouble with the payment. 😂 I’ve done many Xianyu transactions since then and met some impatient sellers even when I know how to pay smoothly, but this one’s warmth and understanding still stays with me.

What a magical night! I was lucky enough to witness and capture the radiant fireworks at the “Disney Music & Fireworks” show in Japan. The sky was lit up with a kaleidoscope of colors, synchronized with the iconic songs from Disney movies. Everyone sat on the grass to watch, and it was like a massive outdoor picnic to celebrate the end of summer.

Blending in at Shirakawa-go with Angelic Pretty’s Chocolate Rosette

Accidental match with the colours of Shirakawa-go in my Angelic Pretty Chocolate Rosette outfit! I wore this salopette with a tshirt because it was hot and I wanted something light. Little did I know, it blended in perfectly with the green and brown hues of the village. 😂 The only regret I have is forgetting a parasol, which would have added some shade.

Shirakawa-go is more than just a snowy destination. In summer, it's teeming with life, and you can spot adorable cats, as well as birds in their natural habitat! 🐈🐤 I had a blast exploring this quaint village and meeting the friendly locals. A sweet old lady even gifted me some gorgeous sunflowers and kept saying my outfit was cute. (〃▽〃)

My Catlady Haul 😻

I don’t usually do haul/unboxing videos, but I was amused by how all my items in this haul were coincidentally cat-themed despite being different categories! Also, since I'd posted about these cat dresses twice over the past year, I figured a final post about receiving the actual items was nice for closure.

It's been almost a year (can you believe it?) since I first shared the precious cat print country/cottage core style Lolita dresses designed by SPINchen, and the good news is they're finally going to be available for purchase! The feeler page is up on Advertising Balloon's Taobao page. For just 1 rmb, you'll receive a free matching hair sash and mini pouch with each dress reservation. After two weeks, the actual preorder commences.

The projected release date is from Mid-June, not too bad of a wait after all this time.

The artist's palette bag will be for sale too and it has actual compartments - a pouch in front and a slim compartment at the back. I reckon it should be more useful than the Usakumya bags.

I'm a little sad about the lack of accessories. SPIN makes the prettiest badge accessories but I imagine they must be difficult to mass-produce. In any case, these colours and designs aren't hard to coordinate so I'll probably find something from my accessory stash. I'm just glad these dresses are finally going to be sold!

The purple print is also available in OP and salopette versions, but I'm mainly interested in the JSK.

Which ones will you be getting? Despite my initial doubts about the purple one, I'm going for all colourways after waiting almost a year!

First time wearing a salopette and attempting a pastel theme / yume kawaii-ish style!

This was for an event which I was an organiser for, so I wanted to be comfy.

Sorry for the weird filters, the lighting in my room sucks. I chose the cat ear headdress for the event. I preferred the bunny ear macaron headdress but it’s heavy and I expected to move around a lot. I love this outfit as I put a lot of thought into accessorising it. Besides the necklace and headdress, I’m wearing 4 rings, 2 different wrist cuffs, 6 badges (2 on my shoes, 2 on my shoulder straps, 2 on my waist) and ear pierce. I have 2 ribbon pins on my cat ear headdress. My blouse is made up of a main piece and detachable sleeves from 2 other blouses. I wore my pink Skechers because as I said, I wanted to be comfy, and I accessorised them with cute badges. I love Skechers and these machine-washable ones are really easy to accessorise because you can just pin stuff on them! I will take better pictures next time, probably with a cute pastel wig and more ribbons or something. I just wanted to share some quick snaps of my outfit test to celebrate my first time wearing a different style before the year ends!
