Happy Monday everyone! We all need a little #motivation at this point of the week. We had fun, restful or even super busy weekends and now it's back to the #dailygrind I was super sick yesterday and not myself at all. I pushed through, rested and hardly ate which was weird and obviously not my normal. So to push myself is a great #reflection from @strongfitnessmag last issue with a feature on #adrenalfatigue This article has wonderful information with 4 pages of details, symptoms and ways to recover. I have struggled with this since spring of 2013 and I thought it was so cool to read about it in a powerful magazine for female athletes. #adrenalfatigue must be more common and I don't feel as alone now. My mission was to make a splash in the fitness class and with almost 40 competitors I made it to a rockin top 10 honorable spot with 8th place!! Here we are! Only #9weeksout and the reason I measure my progress from the looks of my core is because that is where the majority of my bodyfat changes during my prep. It's less noticeable week to week on areas like my legs and arms, but my abs and back will show me everything. I've been really ramping up my #abtraining and I'm more sore there throughout the week. Excited to see changes without even weighing myself. #flashbackfriday to when I felt fierce and fabulous for my #10yearhighschoolreunion in the fall of 2010. I had just discovered my #celiacs and used the #mastercleanse to heal. I used the cleanse for 10 days and lost a lb a day. Most of it was waste and inflammation but man did I feel good showing up to that reunion! Little did I know that my body was still over 15% bodyfat and as I chose to enter the competition world and started lifting my heart out my physique truly began to change.
