Hey everyone, please consider buying the 2024 itch.io Palestinian Relief Bundle- it's 373 games, game-making assets, tabletop roleplaying games, zines, and comics for a minimum of just 8 USD! They have a goal of 100,000 USD, and as of the time I'm writing this post, they have 8 more days to reach it.
Things that can help your motivation and productivity
For when you feel bad about sitting around doing nothing all day, but also don’t feel like doing anything-
1. Get dressed, even if you aren’t going anywhere. Many people feel more productive in “ready to go out and do something” clothes. We associate them with activity, while we associate pajamas with inactivity.
2. Have some kind of daily routine if you don’t already, and stick to it. Once you get up and start doing something, it’s easier to keep doing things.
3. Do something active. Get up and stretch once in a while. It lets your brain relax while giving your body the activity it needs.
4. Eat healthy. It’s hard to be motivated to do anything when you aren’t giving your body and brain energy. If you don’t take care of yourself physically, your mental health and overall energy will probably suffer, too.
5. If you have nothing to do, try a new hobby. Dive into a new interest. Find something to keep your mind busy and pay attention to what activities are meaningful to you.
6. Go outside. You don’t even have to do anything, just sit outside for a bit and it might improve your mood.
7. If you’re frustrated because you aren’t getting something done, take your mind off for a bit and come back to it later.
8. Don’t work when you’re tired. “But I’m always tired” I hear you say. Then try to get things done when you’re the least tired. Don’t deprive yourself of sleep for the sake of productivity.
9. Reward yourself after completing a difficult task. Do something fun or let yourself rest.
10. Positive affirmations. Tell yourself you’re going to get a task done and you’re going to do a good job. If you say it enough, you might start to believe it.
I re-watched and re-read all Dragon Ball last year and have a few thoughts for my unoriginal 12 y/o self!
Why, why, why is everyone creating saiyans OCs when there are so many fun designs to explore in the Frieza empire?
Or is it just my adult brain going crazy about how said empire would work? What type of class system dose it have? Does it have an economy? Raditz said they would sell Earth but would they? Are they freelancers on top of being warriors for the empire? Do planets pay a tribute? Who decides if a population isn't interesting enough for the empire?
You've guessed it, I'm about to introduce to you how I got hyper fixated on a sliver of Dragon Ball Z nobody talks about 🤗 and aliens are so much more fun to design!
The scene in Dragonball Super when Goku reenacts the last time he saw his Grandpa was a scene that took me by surprise when I recognised what it was he was doing.
Just goes to show how much love and attention to detail Toei Animation put into the series.
Dragonball is so well loved, even 40+ years later, and I'm sure it'll continue to be for many more generations.
