I thought I’d share this message of Furudate-sensei from Volume 43.
“Let’s keep our spirits up and try to cheerful as possible,” most people would stop there while trying to sound positive or consoling someone.
But Furudate-sensei added this short note that I really appreciate a lot, “but take occassional breaks from being cheerful as needed”.
We try our best every day to live, to have fun, or even just do nothing but exist. But there are times where we just can’t even do it. Nothing seem to make sense and stuff. And that’s alright. It’s not always rainbows and sunshines. We’ll have good days and we’ll have bad days.
Haikyuu!! Newly drawn short ep. [Promise 2] (MANGA SPOILERS)
Kageyama fulfilled the promise that he made to Kunimi and Kindaichi after the Adlers and Black Jackal’s game! And Hinata played with them too!
This one is a real feel-good read. Kageyama was able to mend his friendship with Kunimi and Kindaichi, and not only that, this one proves the great development of Kageyama and Hinata’s friendship too! I’m so happy that Tobio now has a lot of friends who share the same love with the sport like he does!

Idk if someone’s really looking or waiting for my contents but work has swallowed majority of my time ever since we started reporting in our office XD
Plus, Haikyuu contents to post are pretty much limited since season 4 has ended (SEASON 5 COME THRU QUICKLY SO I CAN ENJOY MY FRIDAYS - SATURDAYS I AGAIN).
I stopped writing again due to lack of inspiration maybe? :(
I can’t help but feel so proud of Shoyo and at the same time my tears drown me. May we all have Shoyo’s determination in reaching certain stages in our lives! FLY HIGH!
@karasu-no-chill now that you’ve mentioned that...among the first years, i think it’s only shoyo that he calls by first name tho, and he addresses sugawara as “suga-san”.
I love this change in lines. In Viz's translation it was: "That was not an encouragement, it was a threat saying, 'Show them why I have faith in you.'" I feel like the manga's version gives this moment's highlight to both Kags and Tanaka.
In the animation, they made Tanaka take it to 'respond' to Kags' faith in him. The spotlight is on Tanaka and his will to score for the team.
