Three Years - Jaemin
It was cold out. Noticeably colder than it was last week, but that’s what happens when summer turns to fall. You looked up to the stars, watching your breath cascade around the moon, intertwining your fingers in hopes that warmth would build between them.
Suddenly something dropped around your shoulders.
• “You’re cold.”
You turn your head to look at Jaemin.
• “No, no, I’m not. I’m fine, really!”
You took his jacket off, quickly handing it to him. You looked startled, flustered even, and he liked that.
• “I was getting hot anyway.”
He said with a soft smile.
• “Thanks.”
You could remember the first time you met Jaemin so clearly. It was only a few weeks ago after all. You had gone to a friend’s house for a small get together. You didn’t know everyone there, but you knew about half, and with the help of little wine, half was enough.
Everyone had a good time, chatting and laughing, sharing old stories.
That’s when you met Jaemin.
It was casual, a mutual acquaintances kind of thing, or at least that’s what you thought. Until he came and sat next to you. Until he got you another glass of wine or refilled your snacks. Until you felt his leg or arm brush against yours. Something was up. You could pick up on flirting. A toothy grin. A flick of his hair.
He was handsome, very handsome. But young.
Three years younger than you to be exact. Or at least thats what Lucy told you later on.
I mean three years wasn’t that big of a difference in the grand scheme of things but you had NEVER dated or even flirted with a younger man before. And to be honest the idea made you feel a bit queazy.
Now here you are, his coat wrapped around your shoulders, after he offered to walk you home following a meeting with some friends at the pub. How could he be so confident? It had only been a few weeks yet here you were wrapped around his finger, wether you realised it or not. He was charming, a bit mysterious, and...
• “So I was thinking.”
He turned around, walking backwards, hands in his pockets.
• “I’d like to get to know you more.”
He smiled, toothy.
• “One on one.”
• “Jaemin, I...”
• “We could go for coffee, maybe a walk around the park?”
He raised an eyebrow, still smirking. Then he pouted.
• “You don’t like me?”
He was trying to make you feel bad, and honestly it kind of worked.
Then he turned to teasing you.
• “No, it’s just that um...”
• “What?”
• “Well...”
• “Oh I see, this is a problem. I’m far too handsome for you to even get your words out.’
• “Shut up”
You softly giggle.
• “I’ll turn around then, maybe that’ll hel...”
AAaghhhHH *thud* Jaemin down.
You burst into laughter.
Typically Jaemin would have been embarrassed, especially given the situation of him confessing his love, but seeing you light up with laughter made him feel warm and fuzzy. He wanted to make you laugh until the sun turned cold.
• “What can I say, I’ve fallen for you.”
He said as you started to help him up.
• “God, you’re so cheesy.”
You said, walking away, trying to hold back your laughter.
He brushed the dirt off his trousers and chased after you.
• “One date. And if I haven’t charmed you by the end then that’s it.”
You look at him with an unsure expression which quickly turns to a soft smile. He was giving you the biggest puppy dog eyes you’d ever seen.
• “There’s only one problem with that Jaemin. You already have.”

Surprise Date - Jongdae
You could hear him giggling like an idiot behind you, his hands covering your eyes as he lead you along.
“Where are we going?”
“Why do you ask so many questions?” he teased.
“Jongdae.”
You couldn’t help smiling as you heard him continue to laugh.
“Okay, OKAY. When I take my hands off, keep your eye’s closed. Okay?”
“mmhm..”
“No looking, okay, no peeking.”
From the change in his voice it was clear that he was now further away now. He got quiet.
There was a slight breeze that cut through the warm sun shining on your back. You could hear the sound of kids playing in the distance, birds flying overhead.
“Jongdae?”
There was a rather large gust of wind followed by the sound of, what you could only assume to be Jongdae’s feet, running through the grass.
“Nooooo! no no no no no.”
“Is everything alright?”
“Everything is perfect, fantastic, absolutely peachy.” he said, out of breath.
“I’m opening my eyes.”
“No don’t-”
You instantly burst out laughing. There was Jongdae, running around a grass field, desperately running after what looked to be picnic supplies that had scattered when the wind blew.
“I told you not to open them.”
He whined, walking over to you frowning while wrapping up the picnic blanket he had caught in his arms.
“The sandwiches are ruined.”
He held up a tuna sandwich covered in grass. You snorted to which he responded with an even bigger frown.
You couldn’t help thinking about how he was the sweetest man on the face of the planet.
You couldn’t help thinking how lucky you were to have him.
You couldn’t help thinking about how much you loved him.
“I’m sorry...come on, let’s go to the corner store, I’m in the mood for ramen anyway.”
He smiled at you, laughing softly.

Wine - Young K
He blamed the wine. The wine was why he felt giggly. The wine was why his cheeks had turned pink. The wine must be the reason his heart was beating a million times a second.
She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.
She wasn’t even necessarily that pretty, but there was something about her that felt different. Felt right.
Love at first sight? He smirked to himself. Don’t be ridiculous, he thought.
He felt the couch cushion sink next to him. The sweet smell of gardenia lingering in the air. Rustling as she took off her jacket.
Why did she have to sit next to him?
He felt his muscles tense. The conversation next to him became muffled. His mind began to buzz. It must the wine.
He never felt this nervous in front of a girl, he was usually so confident, so it must be the wine right?
He stared at the floor a moment.
“Younghyun” he finally said quietly.
“hm?”
“Ah Brian, my name is...Brian.”
“Oh, hi, I’m y/n” she said with a soft smile
He stared at her for a moment. The cold outside had left her nose red, her eyes sparkling from the candles in the dim lit room. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.
Had he thought that already?
She let out an awkward giggle.
Oh god, how long had he stared at her for? Clearly long enough for her to notice.
“Sorry...” He giggled gently in response, “It must be the wine.”
