I personally love leaning into moon’s (and of course Sunny’s) jester side and I have their designs be a lil inspired by their respective flowers (moonflower + sunflower). Prior to the Vanny/glitchtrap virus they were both very silly and loving caretakers to the children they watched, although moon was more soft spoken/shy in comparison to sun

Oh and I love having moon/sun with noodly arms that they can extend to long distances

Despite the chaotic nature of the Bakusquad, food fights are not all that common. Most lunchtime disagreements are settled verbally (i.e. with insults). However, the food fights that have occurred were absolutely brutal, as you would expect from a group that named after Katsuki Bakugo himself. Each fight starts the same, with Kami or Mina attacking first. The following fight is brutal but quick. In the past, Bakugo was the sole victor, but after Shinsou transferred to 1-A, he claimed the title.

i have a weird appreciation for Baroque artists, in particular Francois Boucher and Peter Paul Rubens, for depicting the human body in lush detail at a time that predates the standards for bodies to be thin and airbrushed with no wrinkles or cellulite

it’s just really interesting to me

so many the things women are taught to hate about their bodies—pudgy bellies, fat rolls, double chins, and cellulite—used to be ideals of beauty shown in depictions of goddesses

Concept that was inspired by @kawayls headcanon which is the opposite of this, what if Shinso is fascinated or thrilled at the idea of a situation he can’t control. It’s a foreign concept to him, being as his quirk is all about being in control, so being thrown in a situation where this is ripped from him brings him adrenaline and makes him feel excited.

He compares it to people’s fascination with rollercoasters “many people are afraid of them, but at the same time they find them thrilling. That’s me in an uncontrollable situation, it frightens me, but that’s exactly what fascinates me.” He probably explains this with his “Aizawa grin” on just to weird out anyone who questions this fact.

And to sprinkle in some Shinkami and/or Monoshin, Denki would find this extremely interesting and would encourage it only if it was simple and safe, if Hitoshi wants to take a massive risk by attempting something dangerous he’s definitely gonna nip that shit in the bud. Neito on the other hand is extremely encouraging of this, even joining in on whatever Hitoshi’s about to risk and they’d enjoy themselves (they’ve definitely played some dangerous shit like play Russian roulette or they’d be fascinated by the “Finger Cutting Guillotine” just to see who has more balls).

It’s tempting to write a oneshot based on this entire concept

Shinso’s Mother Headcanons:

Shinso’s Mother: Shinso Getsumei

She’s everything he aspires to be and is his perception of purity and beauty.

Getsumei had a kind heart and was always helping others, despite the stigma towards her quirk (brainwashing through eye contact) and was deeply admired by friends and family because of this. Due to the nature of her quirk, she had trouble maintaining eye contact with others without feeling sick.

Getsumei always had a tired demeanor, speaking with a soft almost husky voice.

Her lilac hair was wavy and thick, long enough to reach her hips, her eyes were also violet with white pupils. She had a curvy yet slim body, but when she gave birth to Hitoshi she became a bit plump with stretch marks (she happily accepted that fact though as she held her son for the first time). She had a Grecian nose, which Hitoshi inherited. She also had darker skin, being a stark contrast to her son and husband’s pale skin.

When Hitoshi’s asked to describe what his mother looked like, he just says “she looked like Nadeshiko Kinomoto, just with purple eyes and hair.” He always has a fond smile on his face whenever he speaks about her, even laughing softly at the few sweet memories he had with her.

She suffered from insomnia (Hitoshi unfortunately inherited it) and often had deep eyebags that never went away, nevertheless she still had an ethereal natural beauty about her that wasn’t matched very easily. She was insecure about how strange her name was when she was young, preferring to be called “Mei” or “Tsu” by friends, but soon embraced it as she got older.

Getsumei always loved her son, Hitoshi,to bits, showering him with love and affection when she could. She was one of the few people who were patient and kind to him, as he was extremely shy and quiet when he was little. When he was a toddler and admitted that he wanted to be a hero, she was ecstatic and excitedly began telling him about the amazing hero schools he could go to, but Shiketsu was their main goal for him when she was still alive.

She referred to him as “Hito-Tan” and would often tickle him while she cooed this to him.

Hitoshi was closer to her than he ever was his father, being completely devastated when she passed away in an accident. A rumor somehow spread in his neighborhood that it was his fault, and that his quirk had something to do with her death. (Unfortunately he was put up for adoption soon after this since his father couldn’t properly handle her death, and it took out his anger and grief on Hitoshi).

Fun facts about Getsumei:

She loved cream soda and sweets of all kinds!

Her favorite pastimes included painting and singing!

Her name means “Moonlight” and is spelled in Japanese “月明”

The photo that Hitoshi treasures of her is a simple one from when she was younger: she’s sitting on a chair with her hands folded over her lap, wearing her wedding dress while she’s has the same exact smile that Hitoshi has on her face!

She’s the reason why Hitoshi loves the singer Chung Ha, as she introduced him to her songs when he was a toddler!

Getsumei absolutely adored Hitoshi’s few friends, especially Camie who was always willing to help her around the house when she visited.

Hitoshi has a shrine of her in his dorm, the center of it being that very photo of her. He often sits down in front of it and speaks to the photo whenever he’s stressed or excited to tell her about something going on. It helps him a lot!

Her design is inspired from Sakura’s mother from Cardcaptor Sakura because I love that woman more than myself sometimes and she has one of my favorite mother designs in anime.

If you want to know what vibe she gives off, the songs “Youth”, “Gods and Monsters” and “Washing Machine Heart” are some examples

Shinso’s Internship with the Wild, Wild Pussycats

I might just write a oneshot on this just for the hell of it someday but for now have the origin of him joining their agency and how it went ✨ @kawayls I have done it, and now I want this to be canon

So Aizawa suggests to Hitoshi that he should probably be doing his internship over the summer break before second year since he needs to catch up to the rest of the hero course students.

Shinso’s like “alright who should I do it with? Am I able to do one with you”

“haha yeah hell no.”

So Hitoshi talks to “auntie” Ms Joke while she’s visiting and asks for her opinion, which she immediately suggests the WWPC and that it’ll be easy for him to do it since she’s related to one of the members

(I decided to headcanon that Ms Joke/Emi Fukukado and Ragdoll/Tomoko Shiretoko are cousins because why not they’re both precious).

Shinso’s immediately like “oh hell no” but not for reasons you may assume

Now we all know that he has a strong love for cats, this lead to him being an extremely huge fan of the Wild Wild Pussycats as a little kid (he still loves them but he’s much more lowkey about it), he even considers them his second favorite hero’s after Eraserhead of course.

He’s scared that he’ll embarrass himself in front of them or that he’ll be so nervous he wouldn’t be able to properly communicate with them.

Before he’s even able to make up an excuse for why he shouldn’t do it, Emi’s already phoning Tomoko and what’s done is done.

So once it’s the second week of summer, it’s time for him to get his internship with them over with.

Shinso is SWEATING as Aizawa and Hizashi drive him to meet the group, he’s literally close to having a panic attack in the backseat which Mic thankfully notices and calmly tells Shota to stop the car for a bit.

After calming down by doing a few breathing exercises, he embarrassingly explains why he’s so nervous.

Aizawa makes him a deal that if he still is nervous after today, they’ll let him do an internship somewhere else. He just has to try one day with them, and Shinso begrudgingly agrees to this.

Once he’s dropped off at Pussycats Agency, the WWPC are all decked out in their hero costumes outside with friendly smiles and as soon as they see Hitoshi they all strike their iconic poses.

Hitoshi is trying his absolute hardest not to start fanboying over this.

They let him inside their agency and our boy is sweating and blushing as he stammers out “s-so uhh… I-I’ve b-been a r-really… really b-big fan o-of you guys s-since I-I was little…”

This is exactly when the Wild, Wild Pussycats looked at each other and all simultaneously went “this is our son now, we must protect him”

They’re immediately trying to be as welcoming and kind as possible to him, doing their best to make him feel comfortable with them.

Once they sit him down in Ragdoll’s office (shes worked from the agency ever since her quirk was stolen but she still wears her costume for fun) they hand him a some cat-shaped cookies and coffee in a paw print mug (Emi informed them of the kid’s obsession with coffee of course) and then ask him some questions to let him open up to them.

Their first day is literally just spent hanging out in the office and getting to know Hitoshi, who eventually calms down and openly starts asking questions he’s always wanted answered and hardcore fanboying every so often.

He stays being their intern and excitedly learning from them what they do, even though he prefers being a crime-fighting/possibly underground hero he still knows that being adaptive on the field will be helpful since they’re rescue hero’s.

Over the week he bonds with each of them:

Mandalay/Shino Sosaki becomes a bit of a maternal figure to him, constantly checking in to make sure he’s feel comfortable or if he understands something they’re showing him. Shinso lowkey adores the motherly affection she shows him, patting his head and giving his shoulder a comforting squeeze every so often.

Tiger/Yawara Chatora helps him out quite a bit with his self esteem issues and self image, constantly praising him whenever he does something well (this boy can just be breathing and he gets “you’re doing amazing, Hitochan!”). Best believe Hitoshi was grinning whenever he heard these praises and even more happy when he got a pat on the back.

Pixie-Bob/Ryuko Tsuchikawa at some point overhears Hitoshi talking to Mandalay about his crushes on two of the hero course students (Monoma and Kaminari) and immediately butts into the conversation to give some dating advice. At first Shinso was extremely embarrassed by this but is pretty grateful for it in the long run.

And he becomes very attached to Ragdoll since her hyperactive personality and inability to remain still reminds him very much of Kaminari, who he feels comfortable around back at UA. She shows him how she does her job and helps her teammates even without a quirk, which he will never not find amazing.

They even help him come up with a few hero costume designs, as he needs to have one before second year started. As well as a few hero name ideas

He definitely gets inspired by their own costumes and gadgets.

They totally refer to him as “Hitochan”

SO MANY HEAD PATS

By the end of his internship, the WWPC are a little sad and disappointed that he’s already leaving but make sure to send him off with head pats and hugs that definitely made his bones crack.

He totally wasn’t tearing up as he held his gift bag that they gave to him right before he leaves.

When he gets home he opens it in his room and finds a signed framed picture of the costumed group with him, smiling in the middle of them and striking his own pose. He also finds a dark purple belt with pockets, the silver buckle being the exact same one owned by the group.

A few minutes later Eri walks in on her big brother ugly crying into his pillow, cradling the picture close to his chest.

She proceeded to walk right back out after awkwardly saying “dinners ready”.

Mic will never let him live it down after Eri told him about it.

Also look at how cute their agency is 🥺, it’s a whole ass vibe for Shinso even if he wouldn’t admit it. I have a hero costume design for him and hopefully I can draw it out soon to post it (dw the belt will be there lmao)
