It all started with a small childish friendship

I need advice
there’s this kid in one of my classes who told me after the first three days of school that he liked me. He said that it was due to the fact that I was the only person at school who was nice to him.He later revealed that he was trans ( I DON’T THINK ANYTHING OF IT BECAUSE IT’S OKAY TO BE TRANS). So i told him sorry you just aren’t my type and i’m not looking to start anything with anyone(I’m getting over a 2 year relationship I was in). HE BITCHED AT ME AND SAID I’M TRANSPHOBIC. truth is this kid has the worst attitude and is so disrespectful to the teacher(who is super kind and very passionate about his job, also he is my favorite teacher). What do I do?
