Checked baggage: I hate my appearance. I don't know why but I always feel like someone's making fun of the way I look. It's one of the reasons why I feel like I'm not good enough for anyone. Worrying about what other people think about my appearance always gets to me and makes me fall into this sadness.
Response: Beauty isn't what makes us worthy. It's a subjective social construct sold by companies that want us to think something's wrong with us so we'll buy their miracle products, and we're better than that. Take too many selfies. Find people who look like you and admire them. Wear comfortable fabrics. Start by choosing one part of yourself that you like most--your eyes, your ankles, your shoulders, whatever--and emphasize that part. Then choose another part. Keep going until you love your whole body. You can do this. You're worthy.
