OH MY GOSH I NEED THIS ITS SO GOOD
So, I'm planning a Loid-centric fic, and would like some opinions/to gauge general interest.
The fic has the working title "Identity Crisis", and it's an exploration into Loid/Twilight finally having a moment in his life to breathe, to not have to construct mask after mask. He can be open with those he loves, finally (set post-reveal).
But the issue with long standing trauma is that, whilst in the thick of it, you can push it away pretty easily. It's when you come out of survival mode, when everything's going well, that the brain can process the sheer amount of trauma you went through.
On top of that, he's struggling to really find... himself. Or, at least, something he can comfortably call himself. Twilight doesn't fit civilian life, Loid is close but not fully authentic. He doesn't even remember his name before he was Twilight. Insert the "I lay awake at night because I don't even know what my favourite colour is, and I'm afraid I don't have a real personality" quote.
To top that off, Loid is... losing his cool, so to speak. Popping corks in restaurants, backfiring cars, certain phrases... They all bring back memories that seize his chest and makes him feel like he can't breathe, because he has to find Anya and Yor, make sure they're okay, nothing can happen to them because he loves them and if the worse were to happen he'd be all alone, as selfish as that sounds -
This is basically a character study, using my unfortunately real world experience of latently processing a lot of trauma. There's a lot of comfort from Yor and Anya, however! They are there for Loid, and want to support him as much as they can; starting with little things that just grow and help Loid see that he has a support network now.
Also, for any still not convinced, I give you: Bond becoming a service dog.

Very late for the Watching and Dreaming Anniversary BUT I watched the Elijah’s stream with the cast and it was very fun! One of the questions asked was “What do you think your characters favorite human realm drink would be?” It was just too fun to not draw.
So here we have:
Hunter: Zeno said an energy drink, specifically Red Bull. He probably hasn’t slept in a few days.
Lilith: Cissy said Piña Colada with the umbrellas in her hair XD Cool Aunt Lilith indeed
Boscha: It was either a giant slurpee or a strawberry boba tea. I went with the boba cause they said she would spit the boba at people and I thought that was HILARIOUSLY in character. (Also the first time I’ve ever drawn Boscha so that was fun!)

I need to draw him so bad he’s too cuteeeeeeee
a Smaller Hyacinth dealing with a flareup because I realize I don’t do a lot of art with him struggling w chronic pain despite bringing it up a bunch, and a little comparison of the differences between him and his ortet I did afterwards
I think that given the nature of his condition (unfinished and fragile nerve endings/tendons) it’d be similar to the pain of multiple sclerosis…

So I saw your traditional drawing of Bonnie bro and I just-
LOOK YOU CANNOT JUST DRAW THE ICONIC DAD SMIRK AND EXPECT ME TO DO NOTHING!!!
The drawing was giving me "Damn I'm gonna have a cool kid in the future" vibe so I just went along with it.

I love this idea so freaking much aaaAAAAHHH I NEED TO DRAW ART.
Small note, hear me out: Childrens screams slowly get incorporated into the laugh track? Like, not a lot at first, if you can hear it its just one child or something, but as it goes on, the laughter gets so distorted, all you can hear is the screaming children.
Also, you could do like Wandavision, where the creepiness and child murder is never directly mentioned, like it doesn't exist at all, almost as tho William is in denial that he's killing the kids at all.
Maybe. instead of having a whole "Bite of '83" scene, an episode is all about preparing for CC's birthday, normal sitcom shenanigans happen like looking for the perfect present, or trying to plan a surprise party and not get caught, etc. But the episode ends with the beginning of the party (Or maybe even just don't show any of it) or something, and just cut to black. Next episode starts, CC is nowhere to be found, Mike is a bit more quiet than usual, but its never directly mentioned, its as tho he never existed in the show at all.
sitcom focused on the Afton's were they just do wacky sitcom plots and inhabbit typical sitcom tropes (suburban dad, troublesome son, sweet little girl, toddler) but then it progressivly becomes obvious that this is a psychological horror is this anything
