Woops, forgot to upload this. I like skulls, can you tell? This is my first resin slush cast mask I've attempted. The jaw is fully articulate as seen in the top three photos. The "tear ducts" are easily seen through. Due to the jaw moving with the wearer's jaw and the holes drilled into the nose, breathing is easy and not stuffy at all. The mask was cast in two pieces, the skull and the bottom jaw. The eyes were cast from clear resin and hand painted. The mask was hand painted with acrylics and the hood, ears, and gloves were hand sewn. The claws on the gloves are taxidermy black bear claws. I ran out of time to cast my own before Halloween ;^^ I learned A LOT with this project. I still really like the mask, but there are some mechanical things with the jaw and some other small nit picky stuff I would do differently. Mostly for preference and making my life a little easier puting one of these together. I will say sculpting then casting two different pieces was VERY difficult with having to line up the teeth and the fit with the top and bottom jaw. If I do another skull type mask I need to find a way I can do the cast in one piece and add the teeth in later like most resin fursuit masks are made. Big thanks to GalacticGraceArtwork on DA for taking the pictures of me sporting my skullbeast mask around the nature center! Any feedback or questions, feel free to comment away :D

Finally buckled down and got this beastie colored. I'm pretty happy with how the colors turned out. Challenged myself to use some colors I don't usually use and to avoid using black in my shading. Fadewalkers: Fire and energy Fadewalkers are naturals at understanding and being able to manipulate the energy within and around them. When they are able to concentrate and manifest the appearance of energy it often resembles fire, hence the myth that they can summon holy fire. (It is important to note that Fadewalkers are not necessarily of holy decent or alignment.) Although called "fire" the energy does not necessarily burn in all manifestations. It has been recorded that the "fire" can burn, freeze, heal, destroy, and move physical objects in a quick and abrupt force. There may be other abilities a Fadewalker's energy may be able to implicate but none other's have been recorded. The "fire" can also take on various colors. It is not fully understood how or why a Fadewalker's "fire" appears as a certain color or changes from one color to the next. Some theories state it is dependent on the Fadewalker's emotional state or that the color is dependent on the intent the energy carries.    Scribe's footnote - The crystals they commonly adorn themselves with are used to channel and store energy. If you find yourself in combat with one of these creatures and believe it to be out or low on it's fire, beware of it's adornments. These are often used as reserve containers for energy.

Went back over this old thing with some inking pens and a white gel pen. Gives it a pretty cool comic book style.

Pencil sketch of a canine creature. It's pretty cleaned up for a sketchbook sketch and I like his design so, I figured I'd post it.

Finished up one of the sketches from my Fadewalker sketch dump. So far I'm liking it. I'll probably work on finishing it up this week.

Some sketches of different types of my Fadewalkers. Fadewalkers are a feline species I came up with years ago and haven't done much with since. I've been meaning to draw some different types. Even though they come in many different shapes and sizes some constants with them are: always feline faces, eyes glow, other parts may glow (whisker tips, tail tips, tongues, paw pads, etc. But mostly just the eyes and little bio-luminescent "orbs" on the ends of tails, whiskers, and along the body).

Hmmm I think it's time to start working on this guy again. He's always been one of my favorites. I thought I was going to completely redesign him but nah. I am playing with his color pallet though. So far I'm liking the extreme contrast between his skin and fur. Thoughts? Also I did give him a lizard tongue because why not. I may alter a few other features with the rest of him but I like his face as is.

Generic background is generic. I've been drawing this guy for a couple years now. Finally did something more than a sketch for him. He doesn't have a name and I probably won't give him one.

This is really old and sat unfinished for about a year. I originally drew this intending to use it as unique style example for a tattoo art portfolio but I decided I didn’t want to pursue being a tattoo artist for now. Done in Prismacolor pencils and it took forever to blend the colors. The amount of time invested in coloring compared to the payoff is why I don’t use colored pencil much.

A quick sketch of a fox smoking a pipe, probably contemplating life’s mysteries like how a fox can smoke a pipe.

A reference of Kasimir's released form. I'll probably update it later with more reference's to add to the sheet. Kasimir is an artificial demon. His creators make creatures by splicing animal DNA and using a substance called blackblood. Blackblood more or less is demon blood. It comes from any hellspawn; demon, imp, hellhound, etc. It's hot like burning coals and thick like tar and is typically very toxic and even fatal to life. I'm planning on making a reference sheet/info sheet of blackblood and its afflictions in the future.

Here's a WIP of a sculpt I'm working on in Zbrush for some practice. So far it's a headless dragon with no wing membranes. It's pretty rough and in the early stages of fleshing out some form but I would still appreciate critique.
