so since the gorgeous Chinard bust is getting so many notes, I thought it would only be right to give the lady herself some spotlight, the french socialite Juliette Recamier

How was Robert Dudley's relationship with his family? Thanks.
Generally very positive! The Dudleys were known to be a close and loving family in Robert's youth and for all the scandals attached to his father's name, none were about his marriage or family life. For an ambitious family riding so high in the Tudor court, this is quite unique.
Even in adulthood, Robert remained close with his siblings. His recounting of his little brother Henry's death (which he witnessed) to the French ambassador, years and years after it happened, speaks of how deeply it affected him. Robert was especially close with his brother Ambrose and said of him, "him, I love as myself." He once disobeyed Elizabeth's command that he remain with her to visit his brother soon after he returned from battle in France, injured in the leg and surrounded by plauge.
Robert remained closed with his sisters Mary and Katherine as well. He once stayed with Katherine during his leave from court when she was ill (possibly suffering a miscarraige).

Hello . What relationship did Caroline Bonaparte have with her brothers and sisters? Thank you.
From what I can tell, she seems to have had fairly good relationships with all of them, to varying degrees.
She and Joseph were very close. He was something of a father-figure to her when she was little. This letter from Joseph to Caroline from shortly after the birth of her first child, is a nice glimpse of their dynamic.
I haven’t come across much about her relationship with Lucien. But I doubt she would’ve named her second son after him if they didn’t have a good relationship.
Louis’ marriage to Hortense (which neither of them had wanted) put him in a bit of an awkward position in regard to his siblings, who pretty much all (except for Napoleon of course) despised Josephine, who now had the dubious honor of simultaneously being Louis’ new mother-in-law and sister-in-law. It was basically Game of Thrones in real life:
Anyway. At one point there was some tension between Louis and Caroline & Joachim Murat, because for some odd reason Louis thought he should be the one to command Napoleon’s cavalry for the 1805 campaign, and Josephine tried to use her influence with Napoleon to obtain it for him. But since Murat was actually qualified for it, it went to him. This is one of those episodes that shouldn’t be read into too deeply though. The Bonaparte siblings squabbled about petty things all the time, but they were really just puerile conceits that both parties generally got over pretty quickly as opposed to becoming the basis of deeper animosities.
Another example of what I just mentioned are the occasional rivalries between the sisters, who were constantly trying to show each other up in various ways, whether it was by putting on the best balls or wearing the most elaborate clothes/jewels. And then there’s the unhappiness of both Caroline and Elisa when, at first, only Pauline was able to use the title of Princess, because of her marriage to Camillo Borghese. But none of these things should be mistaken for actual animosity. Caroline was close to both Elisa and Pauline. She stayed with Pauline regularly at Neuilly when the two were in Paris together; and before settling in to stay on Elba with Napoleon, Pauline paid a lengthy visit to the Murats in Naples.
Whatever rupture might have occurred between Caroline and Elisa as a result of Murat’s role in driving Elisa out of Tuscany, was repaired by the circumstances of Murat’s death in 1815, which brought the two sisters closer together. Elisa lived near Caroline during her exile until Elisa’s death in 1820, and they visited each other frequently. Pauline didn’t relocate to Trieste, but corresponded with Caroline regularly; when she died in 1825, she left Caroline and the Murat children a good deal of money.
She was particularly close to Jérôme, which isn’t very surprising since they were the two youngest. Jérôme and his wife Catherine ended up living in exile near Caroline for a while, but ended up quarreling with her off and on over money.
Caroline’s relationship with Napoleon is a little more complicated. I think they did have a genuine mutual affection but I also think Napoleon was very much aware of his sister’s ambition and therefore a little more wary of her than he generally was with either Pauline or Elisa. They spent a great deal of time together during Caroline’s long stay in 1810, and Caroline wrote frequently to Murat to tell him how happy she was to be with Napoleon and how well he was treating her. But her stays in Paris in 1810-1812 were largely politically motivated—both a way to repair the ever-growing rift between her husband and her brother, and also to coax Napoleon to help her accomplish a few things she wasn’t able to do in the political climate back in Naples, where she was fairly neutralized until 1812. Napoleon was not unaware of any of this, or of how much the throne of Naples meant to Caroline. It’s notable that Napoleon always blamed Caroline as the primary instigator behind Murat’s decision to abandon his cause in 1814. Caroline loved and revered Napoleon, but she also very much emulated him. Trying to justify her conduct in 1814, Caroline went so far as to say that Napoleon would’ve been disappointed in her if she had acted otherwise. Which is really open to debate, as Napoleon was actually so angry at her over the defection that he refused to write to her (or Murat) directly, and had Joseph do it instead.

Hello . What books can I read about Chopin's life? Thank you.
Hi! I haven't read that many but I think the best book that tells so much about his life is his own letters (if you search it up there's a free pdf of it online). Also Alan walkers biography of him (Fryderyk Chopin: A life and times). And also George Sands "story of my life" has some parts on him. Otherwise dig deep into the internet and there's lots of random info about him. Hopefully that helps :)

You might be interested in this bit, it is about the marriage of Ludovika and Max. Written by Christian Sepp, who wrote two wonderful biographies about Ludovika and Sophie Charlotte, Duchess of Alençon, and published the memories about Ludovika by her granddaughter.

"If there were more elements that burdened the marriage next to the infidelity, is something we don't know that much. But in some family correspondence we get weird innuendos. In 1834 Archduchess Sophie wrote to their mother that Max showed 'signs of tyranny' and two years later she writes that "may God preserve her from knowing about the faults of her husband."
Ludovikas granddaughter Amelie wrote in her memories that she witnessed a scene where Max was in anger about one of his daughters and grabbed Ludovika "by the neck". This episode shows that the Duke was emotional and physically abusive in fights."
So much for the happy, funny Duke in the 50s movies...Also I remember I have read he was also involved in marrying Marie to Francesco. Thus portraying only Ludovika as ambitious is unfair.
What was sad that women were told to suck it up like Ludovika was told to by even her sister, who knew how terrible this was of a marriage (I mean women are still told this..).

Headcannons on Sendoh's Personality:

I hope these are ok! Here ya go uwu
~ Ok so; as you said Sendoh is kind of a bit of a hard nut to crack and at times; what's really going on inside his head is a bit hard to dechiper at times so let's start off with listing what we do know; he is naturally talented and amazingly gifted when it comes to this sport. While he may at first seem a bit to casual and leisurely and maybe even lazy; that simply not the case at all once he gets out onto the court; he is actually a very intense and focussec kind of guy. He's tactical, observant; fiercesome and relentless.
~He isn't a bad guy, but he can be a bit arrogant and even a little mean here and there because he's gotten comfortable with his position, but at the same time he is starving to find a rival and players worthy of his time to challenge him and give him a real run for his money.
~That's also partly where his lazy/casually and even seemingly disinterested behavior comes from too because he hardly ever has had to put even 100% into his games up until Shohoku and the other rival teams start turning up. He's the type of guy who needs to be all in or nothing otherwise it's easy for him to lose interest. He craves and needs lots of both mental and physical stimulus to keep him revved up otherwise you're going to get a rather laxed attitude and demeanor from him lol.
~He's even kinda shown a kinda cheeky and teasing side to himself with how he interacts with the members of Shohoku; behind that easy going smile, he definitely knows how to get under people's skin and shake them up. While I don't think he means any real harm; when it comes to rattling his opponents tho from a basketball point of view; he is definitely one dangerous dude.
~Except his tactics don't always work on say someone like Rukawa or Hanamichi; tbh I found his grumpy reaction to Hanamichi nearly crushing his hand to be absolutely hilarious because it showed an almost pouting and childlike immaturity at nit having things go his way lol.
~So that could mean that he probably still does have a bit of an inflated ego and it could be a little bit fragile at times? But he's also pretty good natured as well in the way that he does still seem to be pretty quick to bounce back and brush things off.
~However; another angle to his sleepy/laziness can also be a result of having natural talent and crazy amounts of stamina, to me it does seem like when it comes to sports; he probably hasn't really had to work all that hard for it or at least it no longer requires much effort for him to maintain his position as a top player which could definitely cause future problems in life for him; especially with how he might approach certain tasks and relationships.
~But a good thing about him is that he can pick up his feet and really start getting his engine going with the right amount of motivation. He's a simple guy; if you tell him honestly without being insulting that he's being an idiot or a dick and he needs to pull his head out of his butt; if he trusts and respects you then he'd listen and would adjust his behavior accordingly. He's a quick learner with a sharp mind and even quicker reflexes.
~If he can harness how he uses those skills for basketball in real life then he'd definitely have it down to an art form, but I also feel like he's one of those guys that tends to latch onto just one thing and kind of really obsess over it. I'd say that Sendoh's priorities might go much in this way; sleeping, eating, basketball and that's kind of it. Sure he definitely seems smart enough to just pass his classes without much effort, but he could definitely be a straight A student if he'd really put in the effort and TRY lol.
~Something about his body language and certain expressions he makes; makes me think that he does have a very smooth, very naturally sexy and subtly flirtatious side as well. He just oozes this self confidence and natural sensuality that's very attractive.
~He can be a bit thoughtless and forgetful; especially if it's about anything other than basketball and sometimes even when it is about basketball; honestly his personality kinda reminds me of Tom Sayers friend (I forget his name) but he would spend most of his days fishing and laying out on the grass in the sun by the river; just watching the world go by. Sendoh can seem very much like that at times too, but more often when it seems like that he's actually watching, listening and filing it away for future use; intelligent and deceptively observant. I kinda feel like it wouldn't exactly be easy to hide things from him at times.
That's kinda all I have atm, but I hope that these are alright!

Kissing headcanons for Mitsui Hisashi
A sweet anom angel asked me kissing headcanons for Mitsui, Sakuragi and Sendoh. I felt that the post could get long so I’m dividing it in three parts. Hope you like it :D
Since his 14s, Mitsui enjoys to say how good he is with girls, specially while kissing. But that’s not exactly the truth (right, Mitsui?)
Between Shohoku boys, he loses only for Sakuragi in “being nervous before the first kiss”.
He just doesn’t know how to kiss (at first). And he’ll never admit that. Never.
But,diferently from Sakuragi, Mitsui is smooth and kindda thinks about what he’s doing. So the first kiss would probably be a really soft kiss using only his lips. There’d be lots of heart pounding, sweating (specially in his hands) and butterflies in his stomach.
After the first almosttrauma kiss, Mitsui would get totally addicted to kissing you. He’d give you pecks everytime he gets a chance.
Loves to kiss your forehead because he feels he can protect you from everything.
His passionate kiss is really reeeeally hot with lots of grabbing and moans. He uses his sensitive and well trained hands to explore your whole body during the kiss. So he uses more of his hands than the lips but that doesn’t mean your mind won’t melt while he’s kissing you.
