Dolls Kill brand umbrella is big - watch your brands sources

Art theft is discussed here. They cover a black and white spider outfit that must have been a recent art theft from Betsy Johnson. This is also the second time it's been mentioned they stole a model's face named Black Widow. They stole a weird tattoo on someone's body and made a shirt of it... weird. Then more items were listed but pretty fast in the video.

Racism and cultural appropriation addressed as well. The indigenous headdress is brought up. This is the second time a pink kimono came up, though. That's new. The stupid ass email response to the indigenous headdress is covered. Which gets more and more awful every time I hear it.

Drug usage being glamorized is brought up. A new necklace with drug pills are brought up. The cocaine tray is the second time I've seen it. There are more t-shirts hyping drug use so that's new... ugh.

Their discrimination was brought up. The whole issue was about them discriminating against the disabled kiddo. Apparently they've fired models who were found out to be porn stars and sex workers. Their sex worker looking shoes are actually not safer sex workers to work in because they're poorly constructed. There's a pretty shitty email exchange between a sex worker bringing this up and someone (probably the shitty ass owner) snarkily responding. IG was also shadowbanning the #stripper but DK was using the same pound sign and not getting banned.

Mental health being glamorized is addressed. I guess the new thing is DK is mocking anxiety.

Sexualizng children is a new one for me but I guess DK has come under for for promoting lolita style fashion in a creepy way using lingerie and flat chested women. Also sexualizing girl scouts.

Stealing model's likenesses. They stole a photo of Nikki Lipstick and used it in an ad.

Selling unsanitary items with used tampons in the box or just shoes covered in mold.

People not getting their orders.

Items arriving broken or it breaks within a week of ownership. And you can't return it for a refund. They refuse to give refunds.

The customer service overall isn't great.

They also treat their employees like dirt and barely pay much for the millions they make.

Summary: Profiting off of mental health and sex workers but not donating to them or even supporting them in a healthy way. And they haven't stopped discriminating, mocking people, stealing, being generally poor in service, promoting fast fashion, and all the shit we know them for. They just keep doing more shit to cover in the same way.

From The Video: A) I actually didn't realize Balenciaga got its designs from theft facilitated by fashion school teachers... the fuck?! That's a dark ass hole to go down.

B) This video is hard to follow for me but they do cover fast fashion well. C) They cover and comment on the major issue Dolls Kill has with plagerism and art theft. Even after getting called out they're still at it. D) They cover how Dolls Kill glamorizes drug usage. Fucking ew. E) Fuck Blackbear and his usage of a cashmere noose. (side note) F) DK has put even more fucked up shit out there mocking mental health, anxiety, and now Asian people. The video calls it a polite hate crime. In summary this video sayd DK is cohesive branding wasted. Not wrong at all.

Goth community commentary on Dollskill:

8:45 min - Goth is not racially diverse = ACCURATE 13:30 min - Killstar is problematic = Looking for diverse models on their website turns up nothing, the only diversity is at the bottom of plus size, their social media has a tiny percentage black models and no latinx / asiatic / non-euro and it's pretty much purposeful. 33:30 min - Dolls Kill and a whole "Goth is white" thing. Lack of black models in the goth section at the very least. 38:45 min - Restyle = Their website is very white and their models appropriate black culture. Their IG had one black model in 1927 (/s).

And here's where Jeffree loses his patience with Shady Shoddy over her dispcible support of LAPD during the George Floyd protests and goes full attack on her telling her to get a rubber bullet to the head...

Kinda hard to read but he basically tells her he's glad she's a failing business and to get shot by a rubber bullet. Which... telling someone to get shot is a WHOLE other thing... I wouldn't tell someone to do that but Shoddy is a genuine piece of shit so I guess karma is at least coming back to her in words? Shitty people shitting in each other. I guess I'm here to watch.
