Hi! ♥ Your art is so incredibly detailed I can't help but wonder how long it takes (on average) for you to finish a realistic painting with background and stuff (like the Zakrion one)?

Hi! Thank you so much! ^^ ♥ I didn't work full-time on this illustration because I'm a full-time artist in an office. Freelancing mostly gives me the freedom to work evenings and weekends. In total, it took me about 1.5-2 months, but I don't know exactly how many hours it took 😅 I think if I were working on it full-time, it would take at least half as long, but it all depends on the complexity of the environment and character design elements.

ART STYLE TIMELINE I decided to take those works in which I most aspired to realism in this or that period. Everything here is modeled and drawn by me, there are no game assets or other ready-made assets. The difference between the years may not be that obvious, but in personal perception and the very approach to work it is colossal. Each of these illustrations was a challenge for me, and I love all three in their own way. I don't know if I can talk about an art style here, but I think I can talk about a kind of personal progression 😊✨

"Daggers of Bhaal" — Part 1 Concept art of weapons for my personal project based on the "Baldur's Gate 3" universe. These are early designs and may be updated in the future.

In January, I started working on my character design, inspired by this wonderful game. He is the spawn of Bhaal, the god of murder (Dark Urge in the game). At the moment I have about 15 weapon concepts for him, and this is the first part. I will definitely need your help later to choose! We will only need 2 daggers in the end 😅

I will also post more information about the hero once his full armor concept is ready. At the moment, I have managed to do about half of it, as I am working on several more cоmmissiоns at the same time. But I can't wait to tell you more about him! 🤩

🎊 Summary of Art 2023! 🎊 First and foremost! I'm eternally grateful for all of your support and love I have received this year! Thank you so much to everyone! This year I worked a lot in the studio, and, unfortunately, there was not much time for freer creativity. But these were intense and very interesting days dedicated to amazing projects! I've had the honor of doing several cоmmissiоns (some of them not yet published), and I'm happy to have been able to work with wonderful clients and their incredible characters. Next year I'd like to continue to improve my skills, perhaps doing some finished stylized illustrations. I remain passionate about fantasy and all things related to it, and plan to develop further in that direction. And maybe there is something special you would like me to illustrate?
