Just remembered how dumb child me was about shiny pokemon. My first play through was in Sun, and at the time I had no knowledge of shiny pokemon. I encountered a shiny Psyduck as my first Psyduck encounter. AND I RAN AWAY because I didn’t want a Psyduck.

Also had a shiny Quagsire in Ultra Sun that I killed cause I wanted to play the game again and wiped it.

Something that really bothers me about Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is that the professor being ai is technically foreshadowed throughout the game using their animation (if you look, any time they aren’t talking they are completely still, which in 3D animation looks unnatural), but because the game is so buggy, I put that aside as lazy animation and not foreshadowing.

My favourite thing about watching Hazbin Hotel was watching it through with my friend (a massive theatre nerd). Each time a new character came up, she got me to pause it to see who it was playing them, followed by “HOLY SHIT, [insert actor name]!!?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?!” Along with the jaw drop to “Whatever it Takes” when Camilla began the chorus. Good times

Before I start playing Tears of the Kingdom, I want to put a thought out there that is honestly kind of upsetting.

I’m scared of this game. I’m scared that it will be like other recent major games. Games like Security Breach and Pokémon Scarlet/Violet.

These games had high expectations, and released as (and have continued to be) buggy messes. You know what else has high expectations? The sequel to Breath of the Wild. THE Breath of the Wild.

I want to trust that Tears of the Kingdom will be of high quality, and logic is telling me that it will be, but I can’t help but doubt.

And this fear applies to more than just Tears of the Kingdom. Another game in a similar situation is Silksong. Now, I know that there is no confirmed release date, and the implied release date has been pushed back to ensure the game is high quality, but I fear it’s release could end up like Security Breach did; rushed due to an impatient fan base. Don’t get me wrong, I trust Team Cherry, but I can’t help but see the similarities between the two games.

It’s really upsetting to me that I’m feeling like this. These games have tainted my excitement for games I have been waiting for for nearly 4 years now (give or take). This very well could be me just being paranoid, but I doubt I’m the only one who is feeling like this.

Anyway, that’s a rant and a half over a game that I already bought. If you read all this, thank you! Now go prove me wrong (or watch someone prove me wrong). I’m gonna play the game now.
