A couple weeks back you theorized that Mulder might have psychic tendencies. I wasn't sold on the theory... but it actually would fit into that one-off idea of Mulder being colorblind.

If Mulder is red/green colorblind, then how does he know what is green alien blood vs. red human blood? Nojo on the rojo? Be able to pass the FBI recruitment test? So: if there's a universe where Mulder is actually colorblind, he might also be psychic (or have unconscious leanings.)

Being colorblind doesn’t necessarily preclude you from being an FBI agent. But yeah, the writers seem to forget Mulder’s colorblindness at times.

It’s also possible that he just knows from context which objects are supposed to be red or green. But it is funnier if he’s psychic.
