if your knee-jerk reaction to seeing someone point out rising antisemitism and hypocrisy in leftist spaces and the pro-Palestine movement is to assume that they support Israel/genocide/ethnic cleansing/the IDF you’ve been radicalized in a really shitty way
because your first reaction upon seeing a post combating antisemitism isn’t to check your biases, it’s to get into the replies and call OP a genocide supporter instead of, you know, reading the post and checking your internal biases
because instead of recognizing that bad people are going to infiltrate your movement to spread their own agenda and it’s your job to call that out and stop it when you can, you immediately assume OP is a shill for the IDF or something
because instead of realizing that you could have accidentally spread some antisemitic tropes yourself, you immediately get defensive and angry
you sound like your conservative family going on about how all of “those” (insert race, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, gender) people are inherently violent/evil/stupid/etc. and saying racism doesn’t exist anymore in the next sentence.
you don’t get to pick and choose which minorities are worthy of respect.

So please people of Israel, please keep making your little TikToks mocking Gaza’s suffering, please upload your “day in my life” videos, please post your beach photos, please continue baking gluten free cookies for the IDF in your homes with running water and electricity. Because every time you do the world gets to see how the colonisers live vs. the colonised.

there are some disorders that you CANNOT self diagnose, ESPECIALLY PSYCHOTIC DISORDERS.
do NOT self dx a psychotic disorder like schizophrenia, schizophreniform, and delusional disorder. this is literally for your own safety.
if you have symptoms of a psychotic disorder, seek emergency psychiatric care IMMEDIATELY. for one, you may harm yourself and others, and two, you may be having a medical emergency such as a stroke or a brain bleed!
⚠️ it is not ABLEIST to say that there are disorders you cannot self diagnose. you cannot self diagnose:
all psychotic disorders
some developmental disorders such as Rett’s syndrome, autistic regression, FASD, Fragile X syndrome, and Down syndrome
genetic disorders
dissociative disorders (that INCLUDES DID unless you have TRAUMA and significant symptoms that are being investigated into by a health professional OR if you do not HAVE a health professional due to financial instability/homelessness/other and firmly believe that you have symptoms related to DID.) ENDOGENIC SYSTEMS DO NOT EXIST AND TULPAS ARE A CLOSED BUDDHIST PRACTICE. IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS OF DID BUT BELIEVE YOU DO NOT HAVE TRAUMA, DO NOT SELF DX AS ENDOGENIC. GO SEE A HEALTH PROFESSIONAL.

bisexual means you’re attracted to both sexes

it is perfectly within fucking reason for a homosexual man to be attracted to a trans man because we fucking transition to have at least the secondary sex characteristics of men
even if you don’t personally date a trans person upon finding out theyre trans
you still have that capacity for attraction

Hi! Yeah, this shit has happened to me too over various other MOGAI discourse. They have:
Gone into my DMs specifically to harass me resulting in a CPTSD episode.
Joined an old server of mine to send NSFW to the minors on there as a "gotcha" towards me (not possible anymore, we upped security even more after that).
Went after a trans minor I knew to call them essentially a "disappointment to the trans community" because they dared to... not harass me.
etc...
(These were all, to my knowledge, adults.)
It's almost as if MOGAI aren't automatically morally superior like they love to think they themselves are! 🤔
the "bi lesbian" mogais sent me so much harassment (and graphic cishet porn) for being a nonbinary lesbian that they sent me back into the closet and i am so tired. thanks for this blog. glad to have found it. bisexuals deserve better than erasure on every side.
I am so sorry you had to deal with that shit. That's literally straight up homophobia, dome of the MOGAI people genuinely cannot stand actual LGBT people. Lesbians don't deserve any of the hate and stereotypes and harassment sent your way either, and I really hope that everybody in the bi lesbian camp realises how harmful the label is.

when a man identifies as gay, people don't typically ask him "well are you also attracted to women?" yet frequently lesbians are expected to have some kind of attraction to men. it's exhausting
I feel like lesbophobia is often at the intersection of misogyny and homophobia. and that's not talked about enough. also I'd love to learn more from transmisogyny impacted lesbians about how transphobia intersects with lesbophobia, and amplify those voices!!
