it's okay to cut corners. it's okay to take the easy way out. there's no need to feel ashamed for not always giving it your all. you're doing your best work with the amount of energy you got, and i'm proud of you for that.
The beautiful part about growth is finding new things to fall in love with, whilst simultaneously out-growing the things that no longer serve your current self.
For example: When someone from your past tries to spark a reaction out of you by catering to your old interests (eg: showing off - by doing the things you once expressed interest in) you’re no longer triggered by the feeling of missing out because you’ve outgrown it all.

The calming after a spring storm is amazing. Earth feels still and relaxed. The birds were chirping and the sun was setting. It felt eery with the sound of silence, but calming in a way to feel; "Everything is going to be alright."
P.S. Thanks Re, I really needed a good sunset from you again .
