Anyways, going back to this ask, the zero nuance takes on... the internet in general have really given everyone brainrot. I'm specifically thinking of the:

People on Twitter: Having decorative pillows makes you part of the bourgeoisie (?)

People in real life: Hey man how's it going

I shouldn't even really give this ask a proper response but since we're past that... I think it's funny that someone would come to this conclusion based off of an internet disagreement (or two). I know it's crazy to imagine but I do put down the phone sometimes. Even if this conversation came up in real life, I would've said the same things.

Either you don't know me or don't know me well enough to know that I'm just like this, I usually just keep it off of my main blog via reblogs. I think being put-off by that is a totally normal reaction but again, I'm just like this, and my life stays exactly the same if people whose faces I've never seen think I'm sad based off of a mediocre blog. Not as if most of the content here is much different anyways. It takes me, like, 2 seconds, to whip up a shitty paragraph and hit send and if I add something to that or end up going back and forth with someone- that's just that. ("You've just written a whole paragraph, mate" It was a quicktime event for me). The only thing I've actually spent anytime 'cooking' on here is that pinned Hellsing post, that I still stand by btw.

Is this the healthiest or most productive thing a person could do with their time? Absoltuely not, but it's fairly common and dare I say, normal, to butt heads with people. It's completely ironic for me to be the one to say this, but it's not that serious. Live and let hate lol.

I want to believe whoever sent this, sent it in earnest, but also, there's no way you could have sent this genuinely attempting some kind of comfort or empathy, at least not with a little sting intended. On certain other websites, I always tell people to close their CuriousCats because it's just a way for people to send vitriol with zero repercussions. I think I'll actually take my own advice this time and close my anon if people, their own or my own followers are going to send weird stuff like this to me.
