❝ 𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐄 stealing Meliodas' heart when he visits your kingdom and bringing it with you when you have to leave. ❞

As the sole princess of your kingdom, it was your responsibility to oversee the kingdom and ensure all was well. One of these duties was spectating any major trades you made as a kingdom to make sure no loopholes or tricks were made. A few weeks ago, your father communicated with the kingdom Danafor, per your request, for one of these trades--you would give them fabrics in exchange for weapons.

By pure luck, Meliodas was sent as a trusted Holy Knight who would watch over the trade just like you were.

Your kingdom made a big stink when Danafor's Holy Knights arrived. Because of their tendency to be attacked, Danafor's reputation was relatively low compared to their surrounding kingdoms. No one wanted to be associated with them for fear they would be raided, too.

However, their complaints stopped when you arrived. You were highly respected among your people--not just as the princess, but as a person. You never hesitated when it came to protecting your people and always made sure everyone was in good health. Normally, they could never go against you so openly as to disrespect your choices... However, this wasn't like your usual orders. But going against you could be treason, so they would never be so open about their opinions.

Meliodas had immediately taken a liking to you. You were so kind and respectful during the transaction despite their reputation. He made casual conversation with you while the others argued over what was fair and he found himself entranced by you.

Many spoke of your beauty and kindness. It wasn't rare for him to hear about how much they would love to live their life with you by their side, but it wasn't until now that Meliodas truly understood what they were saying.

He finally understood those who said every angle was your best one, those who said you had the kindest eyes that could tame anyone--but most importantly, he saw how merciful and understanding you were. To him, those were the most important qualities someone could have

So, like any enamored man would, he delayed the trade's end as much as possible just so he could keep talking to you. The casual conversation turned into playful banter, which led to hushed promises to see each other again.

"You're interesting, Meliodas," you'd tell him, prompting him to push himself closer to you. "I don't think I've met anyone who could treat me so casually. Thank you."

In no time at all, he was thinking about you like you were the sun itself. You prioritized everything, whether you meant to or not. He was a starving man and you were his feast.

You would often sneak out to see him. The two of you would go into the forest with nothing but your clothes and frolic around until sundown.

You would bond with each other in mind, body, and soul with no traces of regret. You were his soulmate, after all. He couldn't hold any guilt for loving someone who was made so perfectly for him.

But alas, you were human and he was a demon. Your life span was astute compared to his and he had to say goodbye.

Now all he could do was look back on your memories and hope you were at peace.

No because as a as survivor I want fics that don’t have dubcon and that’s all people wrote lately. It’s so awkward. Especially when some people don’t tag it so it doesn’t get muted for me and I have to see it

OMG its so annoying when fics aren't tagged properly, especially if it has triggering shit (also, why do people just tag "trigger warning" ??? as if there's only one trigger warning?????)

Also if it isn't cut. Like, there's no "read more" option under the warnings, it just goes right into it,,, even on normal writings, I get whiplash, let me digest what I'm about to see before I see it pls I beg

Seriously, I haven't even seen them yet bc I'm a netflix consumer and my knowledge is entirely off Tiktok edits and Tumblr fanfiction but I am so close to just making my own domestic shit I am so sick of smut
