I've started working again on a Louis XV paneling that I had abandoned a while ago. It took me some time because I got a drawing tablet for Christmas but I had to learn the process of 3d-sculpting first. The technique I used before just wasn't really efficient. French Rococo Masters Part I

I'm back with a collection of paitings by four of the most iconic french rococo masters!

In addition to mythological depictions, rococo paintings often showed gallant or even frivolous scenes. Therefore, they were particularly suitable for private cabinets, where only the closest and most intimate friends were received.

I created the mesh and texture of the frame myself in Blender. There are 40 painting swatches in total by the following painters:

1-13 - François Boucher (1703-1770) 14-25 - Jean-Honoré Fragonard (1732-1806) 26-34 - Jean François de Troy (1679-1752) 35-40 - Antoine Watteau (1684-1721)

I will start releasing items from that set for free next month, however I might update some of the items if necessary before making them public. Also if you aren't interested in my Queen bedchamber set but like my other sets I advise you NOT to purchase a patreon subscription just to get them, the quality of some of the items from my earlier creations is questionable it would therefore be wiser to wait until I release for free a better updated version of said items.

All the items shown in the images are made by me and included in the set except the boudoir table who was made by @chateausims and the ceiling who was made by @felixandresims he really did an incredible job with his ceiling so there was no reason for me to redo it. Also the bed won't function if you don't have the sims 4 seasons installed, the rest is base game compatible.

Queen Marie Leczinska's Toilette in Versailles

The Queen had the habit of waking up early, after leaving bed she used to take a simple dress and attend an early morning mass, she would then return in her apartments alone and play music or read. At half past twelve an entire crowd would enter into her apartments, it was time for her public toilette! A table with a mirror would be brought and her silver gilded service would be placed on it. The toilette ceremony had NOTHING to do with what we associate modern day toilets, it was in fact the act of being washed up(the hands and face mostly) and then getting ready for the day. Lady's in waiting would wash the Queen's hands and face, apply her makeup, do her hair and put on her dress by order of seniority.All that in front of an assembly of women from the court. During the process the Queen would say a few words and a unique compliments to each lady in waiting. She would then go a second time to a mass-a royal one this time- accompanied by her household, but,unlike the first mass of the day, she would appear in full court attire sitting at the royal Balcony next to her husband the King.

The original silver gilded toilet Service of Queen Marie Leczinska has disappeared therefore when recreating it I decided to get my inspiration from certain containers that were part of a silver gilded coffee set that did belong to her, of course in did alter them to better fit with their toilet service purpose.

Hello, everyone I am still actively working on making new clutter items for the Queen's bedchamber before releasing it. Tea Time with Queen Marie Leczinska

I used the Marie Leczinska tea set currently displayed in the Louvre as reference.

Since my laptop gave up on my a few days ago I'm currently looking for a new one. Unfortunately I'm a little lost with how to choose the right one. It should be capable of running The Sims 4 fast on highest graphic settings and I'd also like to start using reshade. Do any of you know much about processors, graphics cards, GB-RAM and stuff like that? Recommendations would be greatly appreciated so I can get back to work as soon as possible! :)

My notebook just broke. I bought it in 2012 and it has served me faithfully for 10 years. I guess it's time to say goodbye to Windows 7. Due to its age, I don't think it would make much sense to have it repaired, but I'll try to back up the hard drive and save everything I've worked on recently. Until I saved enough money to buy a new notebook, there will be no updates and no new CC for now. Sorry my dear ones. 😔💕

So if part 2 going to have a matching bed. What is that going to be basic off cause I seen pictures of where the bed is built in to the wall like the one in madame de pompadour room

I actually planned on making an alcove like the one from Madame de Pompadours bedroom! I'll try to create a wall opening that functions like a door, so that you could either place a bed/sofa there, or use it as a passage to another room. Here are some examples that inspire me:

WIP: Louis XV Panelling

I just started on my Boudoir Set Part II and this time the set will include a panelling and matching wallpapers! The design is inspired by the Dauphin's library at Versailles. I don't expect the Set to be finished any time soon, since creating the patterns and objects in Blender is quite time consuming, but I'll keep you updated! :)

Rococo Boudoir - Part I

The dressing table was an important piece of furniture in the life of a fine rococo lady. Now you can recreate a mid 18th century boudoir in your game!

This set includes 20 new Objects:

The 6 pieces of Louis XV furniture are accompanied by decorative items in the style of 18th century Sevres porcelain. I also remade the Louis XV Candlestick I made a while ago, because it was missing LOD's. Please replace the old files by the new ones.

All items are base game compatible! :)
