Coffee Shop Au
We've never met before, but if we did, we would meet at a café.
You would be the infamous, regular customer and I'd be the newbie cashier. You were so used to having your order ready, but one look at me standing at the cashier and everything clicked. You'd order and I'd make it every single time.
"You have a coffee problem." I said one time.
By now, we would know each other. Not personally, but enough that we knew each other's names, and our favorite drinks. I would always glance at the clock, counting down the hours before you show up. Deep down, I wanted to get to know you more.
And I secretly hoped you felt that way about me too.
"Really now? Maybe coffee isn't the only thing I'm addicted to here." You'd say with a smile as you took out your wallet. I would roll my eyes, not bothering to hide my smile and comment on your horrible pick-up line.
By the end of my shift, I see you waiting outside with two coffees in hand. You passed me one. Our hands briefly touching and my heart skipped a beat.
"No need to pay me back."
"Wow. You're too kind."
I took a sip.
It was my favorite drink.

but college is draining ughh,,,i can’t with college at all >:( but you have a nice break and enjoy the hell of it before you’re back to doing work :’))

You glanced at the window next to you. Elbows on your desk and your head resting on the palm of your hand. You watched the student mingle amongst each other, probably gossiping about homework and who-cheated-who.
The scraping of chairs snapped you out of your trance. Turning around, you were met by a small flick to your forehead.
"Hey--"
"Just forget about him." They sternly said before laying a hand on your head and speaking gently. "I don't want to see you get hurt again."
You hummed and grabbed their hand. Looking up at them, you smiled in which they huffed and shook their head at your response.
"I don't think--"
"But I really do like him, Asami."
"Come on, Miya." They sighed. "We can do some games and eat some snacks in my room for the time being before our next class starts."
"...alright."
The chair in which you sat on went through you. Your body felt static. For a moment it reminded you of a hot summer day and your leg had fallen asleep after sitting for so long watching television. But it was quickly over when 'Miya' no longer moved the seat and you watched the two friends close the door behind you, never looking back.
You stared at the door before moving to look outside of the window next to you. The color of fire blending into the inky shades of blue and black, and the emerging stars began to twinkle in the sky.
You hopped onto the desk admiring the sky and the bright moon shining down on you. You solely focused on the sky, not daring to look at the classroom floor. You couldn't bear for another crushing reminder.
"The stars are very pretty tonight, aren't they Yuichiro?" you mumbled, watching the said boy walk away from the school building with his newly acquainted friends. How lucky...
They'll get to know what makes him tick, his hobbies and favorite drinks, his least favorite food and subjects. They'll be the ones to make him laugh when he's at his lowest, build him back up when he knocks himself down. Get to know his secrets and have inside jokes that only they understand. They'll see his smiles and frowns, his blushes and stuttering. They'll experience his growth and maturity as the years fly by.
A pulling sensation tugged you and you didn't need to see that you were disintegrating back into limbo.
You watched him yell at his friends while they all laughed. Your smile not quite reaching your eyes as the painful realization hit you.
How lucky that his friends are able to get to know someone that you'll never have the chance to.

yeah it is 😔😔 i just think about it and I go into a fetal position on my bed, sad that i have to do subjects that I don't like everyday for the next 6 months and I just emailed some people to get forms to change my major, but i've yet to receive a response so I'll probably email them again sometime this week if I still don't have an answer :')))
ngl, I think a lot about if I had chosen a different college--a community college instead. They offer 2 years there and they have the major that I want to study but my gullible ass in 12th grade getting persuaded by teachers to accept a 4 year uni that doesn't even offer my major,,,smh I'd probably be a whole lot happier and motivated for once 😔 but you gotta learn from your mistakes and i learned mine the hard way 😤

Bam is someone who always jumps head first in the water instead of dipping his finger to check the temperature. His confidence and determination swayed the hearts of many over the years, yours included.
You, on the other hand, were more cautious and analytical of things. Taking the more logical approach of things instead of bumping heads with others.
But there you were staring helplessly at Bam above you besides Khun. The ship you were on driving closer to him. A frown settled on your lips and you walked away from the edge. The ship had already stopped, but it wasn't close enough for you. Once you got a good distance, you stared at the flickering white fire tips of Bam's wings.
"BAM!"
At the sound of his name, Bam looked up and his eyes widened at the sight of you falling before harshly landing on Khun's light bearer. He ran towards you without a second thought. Worry filling him when he saw you scarmble to get up only to stumble on your footing again.
Once he got close to you, he helped you up. His voice surprised as his hands instinctively went to cup your face. "[Name]! Are you okay-"
His vision back black. His face collided with something soft and warm.
"Hey, don't go stealing my lines now. That's not fair." You sighed and began to softly run your hand on his head. You glanced at the wings that illuminated on his back. "I can feel this heavy burden on you, Bam. Just know that those souls probably lent you their powers for good. I know I would lend you my everything to you, my soul included."
You earned a muffled response.
"You revived the people who have lost their lives in battle. You felt for them Bam. You cared about them. Your kindness and goodness for the these souls is what probably let them lend you their power. So don't blame yourself, okay, Bam?"
His tense shoulders eased at your words and he slowly hugged you back, his fingers gripping onto the back of your shirt.
In the eyes of many, people agreed that Bam is powerful and will grow increasing over time, but he'd disagree completely. Out of everyone, he believed you were the one who held much power. Maybe not in terms of strength, but your gestures and words mean the world to him.
You were with him when he joined F.U.G, stayed beside him during the horrible times of killing and murder. His hands were stained in the blood of the innocent, yet you still held them like if they were delicate harmless things.
The power of strength and unwavering doubt you carried. The power to make him remember what he was fighting for.
You were his pillar.
Feeling Bam shuffle in your arms, you let him go, but the injured male only pulled you closer to him. He stared at you and saw the confusion written in your features at his move guessing what he was going to do next.
He smiled at that. You always were a thinker; trying to get a read on others is what you do best. He felt your calmed heart race against his chest in matter of seconds.
"Bam?"
"Hm?"
"People are staring.."
When it came to Bam, you were thinking and doing the most illogical things. It didn't help when you're pushed up against him by the man himself.
He only nodded and hummed before delicately grabbing your chin and pressed his lips against yours. Finally he let you go and he was quite pleased with your reaction.
"B-Bam! You--ah--"
He laughed at your loss of words.
"Didn't see that coming did you?"
When you only lightly shoved him, he laughed a bit more before settling down. What was he going to do next?
"I love you so much."
"I love you too, but I just want to make sure. Are you really ready to go for the next wall?"
"With you by my side, anything's possible."
