Hi, I don't know jack about art but as an owner of eyeballs I just absolutely had to stop by and say how *amazing* and *enchanting* your work is. Your duck vs rabbit piece? Absolutely (and I do believe this is the proper term) gave me the heebie jeebies in the best way possible.
this shoot of my pumpkin creature turned out too fashionable-looking for my taste but I feel bad about letting the pictures just rot away on my SD card. next time i'll roll around in the dirt a bunch first i think
*stumbles into the room with blood splatters on my shirt and a thousand-yard stare* i. have made an instagram
It's mostly for portfolio purposes and so I that have a place to point ppl towards if they want to see my art but don't have a tumblr, though i might show the occasional wip sneak peek in stories too, idk?
been chipping away at this thing since uhh. september 2022?? I think I'm at a point where I can finally call it done. turns out building a nearly life-size body from scratch is challenging!
I found a nervous system in my yarn drawer, a dozen colors joined into a tangled, humming network of thought.
Despite my best efforts, I could not untangle it. I could not make it go away. Unsure what to do, I stashed it in a plastic bag underneath my bed.
I fed it stray buttons and paper scraps, hot glue globs and strands of hair, beads and blood and string and ribbon, until one day the mass began to stir and move.
(new mask new mask new mask!!! I tried a lot of new things with this one (posable features! drawn-on shading! wigs!) and fucked up in a lot of new ways (did you know that spray varnish can reactivate glue? I didn't!!) but overall? I'm ecstatic with how it turned out. their name is Pompom i love them very much)

Hiya, Kit/@crtastrophe/that guy with the masks here! I made a blog specifically for my sculpture work!!
Don't worry, my old blog will stay the main repository for my stuff – any art posted here will be reblogged there as well – but I figured some people might appreciate the option to view just my masks and sculptures all in one place.
