Summery: Following the events of the second cancer attack, 1146 is tirelessly working himself to protect the body but when he thinks he failed to protect one of the most important people to him, the damn will break.
Hope you guys like it!
“Better to be killed by a friend than someone I hate. See you again white blood cell…my kind hearted killer”
It had been weeks since Cancer was defeated, yet his final words still rang through 1146’s mind. To distract himself, he threw himself into his dedication to protect the body and the cells inside. He didn’t rest like he should’ve, he didn’t eat like he should’ve, and he didn’t let anyone know how he felt. No one, not even his fellow white blood cells could understand. Yet whenever he thought about failure to protect the body, his mind circled back to her, a single red blood cell. A red blood cell with a horrible sense of direction but unyielding motivation. A red blood cell with bright eyes and a kind smile. A red blood cell who always snapped him out of his darkest thoughts with a simple hello. He knew he couldn’t be the body’s soul protector but he could play his part, but for her, he knew he had to protect her. If he lost her there’s no telling what he’d do.
“1146!” 3803 called out, making the neutrophil look up to see the short cell barreling towards him down the one of the bronchial tubes.
He was tired, but a smile still spread on his face upon seeing her. He hadn’t told her anything about how he was feeling and very little about the battles against cancer itself. He didn’t want her to worry or be scared about it happening again, even if a part of him was. Instead he called her over with a wave.
She had happily told him it was her break and asked if he wanted to get some tea to which he promptly agreed, much to her delight. For once in what felt like a while, he relaxed as the two walked arm in arm to avoid losing each other to the tea stand before finding a place to sit. She laughed wholeheartedly as she detailed an encounter she’d had during a recent delivery which included memory cell freaking out about a cell wearing a funny hat, mistaking it for influenza.
“He knows how serious influenza is. He should be careful before making accusations like that.” 1146 commented as he watched her tell her story with expressive voices and facial expressions, he could have listened to her for hours.
“That's what 2626 thought too. He wasn’t happy about nearly killing a civilian on accident. But everything turned out fine.” She laughed before taking a sip of her tea. “You’ve been working so hard lately it feels like I never get to see you. Even with our knack for finding each other.” She said calmly as her laughter subsided, looking into her drink. ”I miss having you next to me when I get lost on deliveries…”
1146 eyes opened wide when he heard what she was saying, her light voice now soft and tinged with sadness. He felt a lump in his throat and found himself reaching out for her, wanting to say something, anything. He wanted her to know how important she was to him and how overworked he’s made himself. He wanted to tell her that if not for his duty he’d be her personal chaperone around the body. He wanted her voice to stop sounding so sad. Gently he touched her hand and squeezed gently, causing her to look at him with beautiful warm eyes.
“I’ve been...working a lot lately. Maybe even too much. But if you ever need me I’ll find you somehow.” He said quietly, trying to keep the feelings he wanted suppressed pushed down.
“I understand how much you care about your duty to this body.” She smiled, her voice sounding like its old self as she put a second hand over his.  “I know you’re doing everything you can to keep me an us simple cells safe.”
1146 felt a blush warm his face as she spoke, feeling the warmth of her hands even though their gloves.
“But if you ever want to take me on a walk around the body I’ll join you in a heartbeat.” She finished with a pat to the top of 1146’s hand and a wink.
Before he could respond she leaned in close, making 1146 nearly lean back in surprise with how close she was to him as she studied his face carefully. She saw the tiredness in his face and the stress bubbling beneath the surface. Gently he watched her lift one of her hands and gently cup the neutrophil’s face with it.
“1146 have you been resting enough? You have fatigue written all over your face.” She said with concern. “Is there something going on?”
“N-no! Well I mean yes but I’m fine? I-“ He wanted to lie and tell her everything was okay but when she looked at him with her loving, kind eyes, he found the words catching in his throat. “I don’t want to talk about it much but no I haven’t been sleeping.”
“1146…” 3803 said with concern. “Please take care of yourself. Your mental health is just as important  as your physical health. I’ll get too worried thinking of you on the battle field without proper rest.” she lectured
He chuckled to ease her worry and smiled.
“Okay I will. For you.”
She looked at ease but there was still an urge pulling at him. “Tell her. Just tell her what you feel. She won’t think of you any less” came the voice in his head. He thought maybe he should listen to it now.
“3803 can I-“
Before he could finish his sentence the ground around them began to shake violently. It was knocking people off their feet and quickly creating long cracks in walkways.
“1146! What’s happening?” 3803 shrieked as she was knocked off her chair with the next powerful shake.
Red blood cells and normal Cells alike began to scream and run only to be knocked down on eachother.
“It’s a coughing fit!. He replied, watching the infrastructure around them grow worse with each passing second.
He quickly sprung to his feat and watched the other white blood cells gather Incase of bacteria. Instead he quickly grabbed 3803 and held her bridal style and close to his chest as he barreled through the swarms of people as debris fell around them.
“W-whats that mean?” She yelled as she held onto him.
“Something is irritating the airway and in this case is causing the inflammation of the bronchial tubes!” He replied as he shoved towards a safe area and sat her down gently.
“You should be safe here but I need to get back! I have a bad feeling about what could be coming.” 1146 explained quickly before he turned to go back.
“Go get them 1146!” He heard her call over the shaking and the panic, it put a fire in his belly.
“Where were you? The bacteria just showed up!” 2001 had yelled when 1146 returned to see a swarm of bacteria coming down the bronchial tubes.
“What are we dealing with?” He had replied ignoring the question.
“Mycoplasma and Chlamydia Pneumoniae! They caused the inflammation!”
“So you’re saying if we don't stop them here-“
“It’ll be Bronchitis!”
The battle against the bacteria was brutal from the start. The coughing fit made their surroundings crumble beneath them, near impossible to stand firm in some areas. 1146 watched his comrades slice and destroy the bacteria, blood running down their faces and clothes with nothing but determination and grit on their faces. He tore through them in hordes without stop. He knew this is something he could do. He could protect the body and protect her.
But that's when the hacking came. Battle fatigue hadn’t set in yet and the macrophages had already appeared as reinforcements. 1146 had just skewered two bacteria on the ends of his blade when he heard the first scream. He looked up in response to see phlegm shooting out of the lungs carrying debris and red blood cells.
He had frozen mid fight to stare in horror at the trapped cells who would have almost no means of escape before being forced out the body. His thoughts raced in a panic.
‘Did I leave her too close to the mucus membranes? No, no I didn’t but what if she’s in there? I have to save-‘
“1146 HELP!” 4989’s voice interrupted his train of thought as the other neutrophil was stuck under a fibrin net to which 1146 quickly cut away after killing the bacteria.
“Thanks man but what's wrong with you? You aren’t focused at all!” 4989 commented as he retrieved his knives, but 1146 was too lost in thought to hear him.
He bared his teeth and launched himself at the bacteria with nothing but mindless carnage in his mind, except for the thought of:
‘She’s okay. She has to be.’
His mind had felt blank for most of the remaining battle, however as soon as the last bacteria was torn limb from limb, he remembered what had happened. He’d seen so much phlegm shoot up which got caught in the throat that he had lost track of it all. But then he also remembered what he’d feared the most. As normal cells and red blood cells started to approach the battlefield he realized he didn’t see 3803 among them at all despite normally being the first one to run to the soldiers in thanks. He was flushed with worry, a fear growing in his stomach.
“1146 we need to check the rubble for survivors and move it.” 2001 said firmly, placing a hand on his shoulder.
1146 nodded slowly and pulled away and started in the direction of where he’d left 3803. He looked at packs of red blood cells helping each other and getting pulled out of the rubble but he didn’t see her anywhere. When he approached the place where he last saw her, his throat felt like it closed up upon seeing it. The entire structure had crumbled to the ground, obviously taking whoever was near with it. He also started to notice that phlegm residue was nearby.
“3-3803!” He yelled, hoping that she would respond.
The area around him was nearly empty, the rest of the red blood cells having gone back to work or had congregated around the battlefield. It felt too quiet and the area seemed to have gone dark.
“3803!” He screamed again, stepping into the piles of rubble and looking for anyone but found nothing.
‘She’s gone. You failed.’ He tried to ignore the voice in his head but it felt like it was getting louder as he dug through the piles, losing hope with every piece. ‘You can’t save her.’
‘What are you going to do when you’ve lost the only person you had in this body? If cancer returns will you even want to fight?’
He didn’t know how much time had passed since he had started looking alone but he knew there was nowhere she could be. The lump in his throat began to choke out as tears formed in his eyes. His chest hurt and his knees felt like they would collapse. He pressed a hand over his mouth to suppress the desperate sob.
“1146!” 3803’s voice pierced the quiet air, snapping 1146 out of his state and quickly looked for the source.
“3803?” He said in disbelief, watching the girl approach from a distance with a smile on her face, he couldn’t move an inch.
She ran up to him and grabbed his hands and looked at him with bright eyes.
“I couldn’t find you anywhere! Are you okay?” She asked with concern and touched his face gently, wiping blood off his face with her gloved hand. “That battle was insane are you sure you aren’t injured?”
He was so convinced that she had been crushed or launched out of the body that seeing her in front of him asking about his well being felt surreal. But she was unharmed except for some dirt on her face and instead was pulling off her gloves to clean his face with the fabric. He didn’t know what to say.
“I-I thought…”
“I was so worried about you.” She said gently, her voice warm and loving.
The dam broke and a tear ran down his face.  Moments ago he thought he’d lost it all even if the body was still protected. To see her in front of him…it was too much.
“1146?” She asked, feeling the tear touch her bare hand, trying to see his face since he wouldn’t look her in the eye.
The tears continued to pour and he wrapped her arms around her waist, pulling her close to him. He felt her hands move to the back of his head and cradle it gently, not saying a word. The lump in his throat was caught and hurt. He opened his mouth to say something and a broken sob came out. It felt wrong for him to show such weakness but more whimpers and cries just fell out.
“I-I thought you were dead” he cried into 3803’s neck, eliciting a soft gasp from the other which she followed with squeezing tighter.
“It’s okay I’m right here…”
His knees buckled and he leaned against her chest for support. He could feel his face getting wet and her shirt getting damp, but she didn’t seem to care at all. He coughed as gasped through his sobs, wanting to talk to the but couldn’t get the words out.
“If I can’t protect this body then... I can’t protect you.” he cried, feeling too tired to stand as he began to sink to the ground, 3803 still holding him. “I’ll have failed everyone”
She quickly lowered herself to his level when he was nearly on his knees. 3803 didn’t know what she could do to help him. To her, he was always so brave and protective of her and the other cells. She never thought she’d see him cry like this and her heart ached. She knew that white blood cells worked tirelessly to defend them and had almost no thanks but she never imagined the emotional toll it took on them, especially someone like 1146. He was always so earnest and kind even if with the job he had. He’d never told her fully about what happened with cancer but she knew it was bad. 1146 was the kind of person who would ignore his own feelings so he wouldn’t burden others, a feat she could never do. Before she knew it, a tear rolled down her cheek as she cradled him against her chest.
“You can’t stop everything by yourself...even though I know you’d die trying…” she found herself saying, stroking the back of his head to comfort him like Macrophage did to her as a child. “But you need to take care of yourself… at least for me.”
3803 clutched him tight as his cries quieted down. She was thankful there was no one around and that they were alone. She only wished that she could make his pain stop.
1146 lifted his head after a while, his face still damp to the touch.
“Thank you 3803.” was all he said before he shut his eyes and succumbed to his fatigue.
She smiled.
“Anytime.”
BONUS:
1146 woke up in a bed far softer than the one in the barracks where he normally slept. He didn’t recognize his surroundings at all and quickly noticed he was wearing only his undershirt and boxers. The bed was warm and smelled familiar, though his dazed brain couldn’t quite pinpoint the scent. The parts of the room he could see were adorned with lovely flowers and photos he couldn’t quite make out. A red jacket was draped over the chair next to a small table. Wait was this-?
“Oh good you’re awake!” he heard a voice chime from a few feet away.
Before he could move he felt a hand touch his shoulder and watched 3803 kneel in front of him, missing both her hat and jacket.
“How are you feeling?”
“Like I just slept for 100 years” He answered with a groan as he leaned up in bed,  reluctant to leave the warm covers. “Where am I?” “My place.” She grinned and gestured to the small room. “For when I’m not on duty. I asked 4989 to bring you here after the battle.”
He looked worried, quickly remembering what happened before he had fallen asleep.
“I didn’t say anything about what happened. I just want you to rest. Okay?” 3803’s said firmly, determined to nurse the other back to health, knowing she couldn’t expect him to do it himself. “But you should eat something first! I know that white blood cells eat more than bacteria so I asked Macrophage to-” She began to explain while reaching for a plate of sugary carbohydrates that she had discovered he loved a while back.
When she looked back up she saw he’d already fallen back asleep with a peaceful smile on his face. She smiled and kissed his forehead, knowing he’d be back on his feet in no time, but owed her that walk first.

Blood of A Virgin
NSFW WARNING Summery: Rebecca has been with Iishiro, the vampire (fake) priest responsible for introducing her to the world of hunting the supernatural for a few months now and her feelings for him grow more everyday yet doesn’t know how he feels in return but when Rebecca and an injured Iishiro find themselves alone in the church after a mission anything can happen
on the cells at work discord we made an au consisting of the WBCs as immortal vampire (fake) priests that hunt various monsters with RBC as 1146′s nun hunter assistant (until she gets promoted that is) so I have @shweezyliz @purpledinorus and @briefzombiechild to thank for this Name refs:
Rbc: Rebecca 1146: Iishiro  2001: Tadashi
Dendritic: Dmitri
If someone had told Rebecca that at the age of 22 she’d have a vampire priest between her thighs while dressed as a nun with weapons littered around her. She would’ve been speechless. Now that she found herself in that exact scenario she was speechless for an entirely different reason.
“I-Iishiro I can’t-nnngh” She moaned out as the pale man’s tongue teased her clit and strong hands held her legs open over his shoulders.
She couldn’t see his face as it was covered by her skirts yet she was stirred on more by the sound of the pew rocking back and forth in the empty cathedral. She could still feel the sting of his bite around her neck but it only aroused her further as she blindly felt for his head between her legs and knotted her fingers in his hair. The past hour had been a blur. They had made it back from their mission to kill a number of ghouls plaguing a local town and though the mission had been a success, Iishiro had taken a hit right to his side and was bleeding onto his priest robe. If he had been human it would’ve been fatal but thankfully it was merely a setback. Yet it still caused him pain as he groaned and held his side as Rebecca helped him inside of the Cathedral, finding it completely void of everyone. She had helped him onto a pew so he could rest before haphazardly looking for medical supplies “Rebecca its okay. I’ll heal on my own.” He chuckled, biting through the temporary pain as he watched her scramble.
“But you’re bleeding! Even if you do heal there’s no use suffering through it!” She scolded him, feeling his forehead after returning empty handed
Iishiro felt a pang in his heart for her concern, taking in the sight of her beautiful eyes and red hair unhindered by the nun hood he normally saw her in, just like the night he first met her. He shifted up to meet her gaze, letting out a groan as he did so.
“If I drink human blood I heal faster. If you can get me a blood pack from Dmitri then that should fix me right up.” He reassured her, feeling a craving for the substance approach him as he thought about it.
“I-I can’t get to it. Only Dmitri or Tadashi can get into the cooler and neither of them are here right now.” She said softly, cursing herself silently for not being able to do more, that's when an idea came into her mind.
“It’s okay then. You can go rest I’ll be f-” Iishiro’s voice tapered off as he looked up and saw the sight in front of him.
Sitting opposite of him in the old Cathedral, sat Rebecca with her nuns robes loosened to show her jugular vein and bare throat exposed with a blush dusting her cheeks as she looked at him with those hazel eyes he loved so much.
“Then drink from me.”
Rebecca was expecting pain, stinging awful pain as she watched him near her throat. They’d slaughtered countless monsters as partners for the past few months she’d been with him and each one had grotesque tearing fangs. As the vampire flashed his teeth, she braced herself as Iishiro gently pulled her closer and she could feel his breath on her neck as he pressed his mouth to her warm skin, fangs dragging across before settling on a spot that sent a chill down her spine. She felt a sharp prick as he penetrated her flesh and tightened her grip on his robes. What she didn’t expect was a warmth to flood her body, making her feel hot and relaxed as he kissed her throat before he began drinking her blood. Rebecca didn’t know where it came from but the sensation became overwhelming and she quickly realized she enjoyed it. The girl moved to cover her mouth but her instincts were too fast as she let out a loud sensual moan as her partner drank her blood. Her face went flush with red, wanting to pull back and apologize but instead another choked out moan left her lips as she tightened her grip on him. She felt Iishiro hesitate and knowing him, was worried he was hurting her. She began to pet the back of his hair as she took another gasp of air.
“I-Iishiro it’s okay. Take hnng as much as you need.”
Rebecca felt his hands shift as her leg began to rub against his side as he moved further into her space, wanting to hook it around his waist but resisting. She felt a warmth growing in her belly that she tried to ignore to no avail as she moaned again. Rebecca knew she had feelings for Iishiro, the gentle stoic man saved her life and had introduced her to a world she finally felt like she belonged in. To others, they might have resented a man like Iishiro, but Rebecca was never one for normalcy. She didn’t know how he felt about her, did he see her as just a friend an ally? Or did he too, harbor feelings she swore she could see behind his dark eyes as they brushed against each other in peculiar ways or when he passed out on her lap from exhaustion. The warmth spread to between her legs as she shifted again, now blushing from her hot state and the fear of scaring him off. But then she felt the man’s hand move down from her shoulder, nearing her breast as the other hand squeezed her hip just a little bit tighter. However before he reached them, he stopped as if he was waiting for her to say-
“Yes” She gasped breathlessly into his ear.
He squeezed her right breast in his hand and she felt his left hand dip lower to grab her thigh. He groaned as he took a last drink and slowly pulled his fangs out, sucking the area around the wound to clean up any excess blood causing her to moan one last time as he left a hickey on her neck. When he finally pulled away and gazed at her, hands unmoved from the spots the had found themselves, she could see the emotion in his eyes that made her heart somehow beat quicker. There was a blush on both their cheeks from the hot robes they both wore and sweat beaded on their foreheads, she saw his wound had healed up as well.
“You taste sweet…” Iishiro said in a breathless, low voice as their faces still hovered in front of each other.
Rebecca didn’t even respond before they were crashing their lips together in a hungry and desperate kiss, tongues entwined and lips biting at each other. It was cathartic as months of built up emotion were being released all at once as the two inhabited each other’s space, not an inch of room between them. Rebecca could taste copper on his tongue but she didn’t care as she balled up a chunk of the priest robe in her hand. She wanted it off of him. As his hand explored her thigh and groped her breasts she began to undo the buttons keeping the thick black coat on him, his hands only leaving her body to help her remove it before flying back to their previous position. His white undershirt was promptly unbuttoned by Rebecca and was left hanging open to expose his muscles that she’d never gotten to see up close, let alone touch..
Kisses and feeling each other up quickly lead to Iishiro wearing his unbuttoned shirt and pants  as Rebecca continued to bake in her long dress. She’d removed most of the weapons from their secret compartments but still felt the leather weapon holders cling to her inner thighs as his hands grabbed her soft flesh. She could feel the wetness growing between her legs and she fought the urge to press her legs together. After all she’d never been touched down-
She felt the thigh holsters gently slide off her legs and realized that he was quite infatuated with her legs, something that made her blush. She was laying on the pew with Iishiro on top of her, sliding the skirt of her dress up further to her waist, giving her a chance to stop if she wanted. The two stopped kissing for a moment to catch their breath and Rebecca let out a moan as she felt his hand climb further up and grip her thigh firmly. He watched her reactions closely as he rubbed against the wet fabric of her panties causing her to squirm and hold back a moan. She couldn’t remember a time where she felt so sensitive, then again, Iishiro was the only one who mattered to her. She tried to relax against his fingers but her gut reaction to being touched for the first time in such a way took over and she slammed her legs shut and buried her face in her hands, blushing furiously.
“Rebecca? Are you okay?” Iishiro asked as soon as he pulled away, concern in his voice. “I didn’t hurt you did I?”
“N-No not at all! It's just…” Rebecca began to stutter, unsure how she was going to tell an incredibly attractive, decades old vampire about her little secret.
Iishiro smiled fondly at her and leaned back to look a her embarrassed face more clearly, he’d figured it out.
“This is your first time isn’t it? I’m surprised.” He chuckled, watching Rebecca narrow her eyebrows at him, slightly offended at what he had just said. “Are you sure about that?”
“What does that mean?” She said, tucking her legs back in causing him to laugh in amusement, he thought it was adorable.
“Y-you’re one to talk! You’re an old perv!” Rebecca quipped defensively at his laughing, taking a jab at the fact he was 154 years older than her. “You’re 177 years old you’re basically a old man!”
“I’ve been told that many times.” Iishiro chuckled again as he leaned into Rebecca’s space again, watching her facial expression soften. “You still choose to hang around with this old man though. Does that make you a perv as well?”
Rebecca smiled softly and pulled at his shirt, scooting closer to him.
“Shush it you.” She teased, sticking her tongue out at him.
“Well...this old man’s still got some tricks up his sleeve.”
“Make sure you don’t break a hip” “I have the body of a 27 year old I intend to use it.”
“Whatever you say cradle robber”
They kissed again, softer this time with reassurance behind it, Rebecca knowing that Iishiro would take his time with her. She wished she could’ve stripped down as easy as he did but the complex dress designed to hold a cache of weapons was making it difficult. Iishiro found his way back between her legs, kissing her inner thigh and stopping her legs from slamming shut on his head by holding them open a little. Her breathing was getting heavy as she felt him move closer, feeling the heat between her legs get worse every passing moment. That’s when she felt her white panties start to be pulled down her legs by careful hands causing her to moan and shift as he did so.
“Hanging in there?”
“Y-yeah. Trust me I’m fine.”
She felt him smile against her inner thigh and traced the lips between her legs with his finger, hearing her sharp exhale. Her dress had ridden up just a bit more and she could feel her stomach partially exposed to the cool air. His hand rubbed against her as he kissed her abdomen and thighs one last time and looked her in the eyes.
“I promise I’ll be gentle.” Iishiro grinned as he began to touch her, running a finger up her slit and brushing her clit causing her to jolt.
Rebecca bit her lip as she felt him, relaxing and spreading her legs more causing him to hold it steady with his free hand. It felt like it did when she touched herself but better as he experimentally explored her, circling the sensitive bundle of nerves until she let out a soft moan and gripped the fabric underneath her.
“Stop teasing me.” Rebecca whimpered, opening her eye to see Iishiro grin at her, making her blood run hot.
His finger slowly move down from her clit until she felt him slide a finger inside of her and rub her walls. Where she was expecting pain she only felt pleasure as her labored breathing got just a bit more desperate, squirming against his hand as he slid another finger in. She ached to be kissed as the fire in her belly grew hotter as he pumped his fingers in and out, letting her get used to the sensation.
“Still okay?” Iishiro asked as he planted another kiss on her inner thigh, sucking another bruise onto her without biting which caused her to arch slightly.
“Mmhm” was all she could respond with as her body quickly adjusted, diminishing any pain she’d been feeling allowing him to quicken his pace.
She knew she had to be a wreck, her blood pumping hard through her body and her cheeks red with blush. He hesitantly slid a third finger in gauging her reaction before deciding whether to continue or not. “Iishiro...kiss me” Rebecca gasped, wanting to feel his lips on her again as she began to melt under his touch.
Still fingering her, Iishiro leaned up and kissed her, enjoying her soft lips as she kissed back. The kiss was slow and sweet, Rebecca cupping his face and caressing his jawline with her thumb. She could feel his fangs and remembered he was still not human, but she didn’t care at all. She thought about how someone so powerful and dangerous was still so gentle, kind, and affectionate, even if he showed it in odd ways at times. She could put her life in his hands and he would die to protect it.
“Rebecca” Iishiro said as he pulled away “Can I try something?”
“I’m in your hands.” She replied, trusting him wholeheartedly.
“Tell me to stop if you don’t like it.” He reassured her before moving back between her legs.
She trembled as he removed his fingers, holding her breath in anticipation for what he had planned. Sweat rolled down Iishiro’s forehead and chest as he kissed his way up to her core and all at once put his tongue to her clit and began to eat her out. Rebecca cried out and felt a new wave of heat rush through her like a fire, tightening her thighs around his head while he drank her in.
“She tastes sweet.” Iishiro thought, thinking of earlier when he had taken her blood, she was intoxicating.
He couldn’t see her face but he could picture the cute expressions she was making which only spurred him further. Her thighs around him made his pants grow just a bit tighter and felt her fingers knot in his hair, tugging hard but not painfully. His tongue lolled around her clit before he licked deeper and heard her cry out from pleasure.
Rebecca was struggling to keep her eyes open as she palmed her own chest while she held his head but gave up and gripped the fabric underneath her. Her insides were hot and threatened to overflow at any moment as she called out his name.
“God Iishiro!” she yelled, arching her back up fully as the dam began to break, opening her eyes and biting her lip.
That’s when she saw the ornate stained glass above them and remembered they were still in fact, in a church. A small part of her thought that they needed to leave before they both were sent to hell but the rest of her didn’t care. The empty hall was filled with the sound of them together and there wasn’t a soul to be found. Through her cries she could see her nun’s headdress on the ground next to Iishiro’s torn priest robe and realized she was still dressed as a fake nun being eaten out by a fake priest. Something about it only excited her more as her nails scratched Iishiro making him suck down harder in response.
“This must be what they call a religious experience” She grinned to herself before throwing a hand over her mouth and cried out one more time as the bough broke and she began to climax.
“I-Iishiro I can’t-hnng hold back any-” Rebecca couldn’t get the words out before they were drowned out by her moans.
The wave of pleasure that overtook her lasted for what felt like forever, her thighs going slack letting Iishiro pull himself away and catch his breath. She felt his eyes on her as they both breathed heavily and tried to collect themselves. Iishiro wiped his mouth clean and Rebecca broke into a smile and giggled softly.
“What’s so funny?” Iishiro asked, looking at the cute blushing girl across from him and wiping sweat from his brow.
“It’s nothing just…” Rebecca replied, ignoring her wobbly legs and moving closer to him to wrap her hand around his neck and brushing his bangs out of his face to admire him, looking at the scar he hid which she was seeing for only now seeing for the third time. “You’re cute”
Watching a 177 year old vampire blush under her touch made Rebecca feel a sense of pride, taking in the sight and leaning in to kiss him again. She’d watched him take down monsters twice his size without breaking a sweat yet now that there was a sweet girl in his lap he seemed like anything could break him. The blush on his face made him too embarrassed to look her in the eye. She smiled and tilted his face back to her and pressed a kiss to his lips. His arms wrapped around her as he kissed her back. Rebecca could feel how hard he was against her thigh as she settled into his lap, legs still weak but a warmth still in her veins. She put a hand against his chest and moved away the shirt fabric to kiss down his throat and onto his chest, causing him to let out a strangled moan as her hands wandered across his body.
“R-Rebecca…”
“Hm?”
“Are you sure about this?”
“About what?”
“We’re...still in the church and-”
“So that’s one reason he’s blushing so much” Rebecca thought, grinning as she watched him stutter.
“Iishiro we’re not real priests or nuns. Besides it’s not like we’re on the altar.” She felt him stiffen against her thigh as she said that, building her confidence up a bit more. “Ideas for later”
“I know but… are you sure you want to?” He asked, pressing a kiss to her cheek.
“I’m sure.” Rebecca whispered in his ear, blushing again at the thought of what they were about to do and the fact he was clearly nervous about being her first.
She leaned up in his lap so their chests were pressed together and helped pull his shirt nearly all the way off. Despite their sensual kissing he still seemed hesitant to put his hands anywhere that wasn’t her back or waist, as if doing so would seal the deal. Rebecca pulled away and pressed their warm cheeks together, and whispered into his ear.
“Take me Iishiro.”
As soon as she said that it was like a switched flipped for the both of them. Iishiro groped her through her dress, making her wish there was an easier way to pull the gown off without ripping it as her hand made their way further down. Her hand trailed across his abs and dipped below his waistband causing him to inhale against her neck as he kissed her on the small slit of exposed skin. She wasn’t sure how to undo his pants without looking on the fact she’d never done it before but could feel how hard he was and began to grind against him. She felt bad that he’d been tending to her the whole night but his only goal had been to please her, but now she knew what she wanted. As she worked her hips against him he let out a deep groan.
“You like that?” She tried to say as seductively as possible, but instead came out as a desperate whine.
“You’re better at this than you think.” He replied, pulling up her skirt so it was now bunched at her waist, gripping her bare skin, still warm from their earlier activities.
Rebecca grinned and managed to undo his pants, taking a deep breath and blushing as she felt his length.
“It’s bigger than I thought it would be…” She thought as she gently worked it out from his briefs, Iishiro breathing hot and heavy against her chest, feeling sensitive due to neglect.
Rebecca was no longer sitting in his lap and could see him in full view. Eyeing his dick, her mouth began to water a bit, the thought of blowing him passing through her mind before she quickly disregarded it. She knew they were pushing it on time and it had to be a miracle they hadn’t been caught yet.
“W-wow…” Her voice trailed off as she finally spoke once her mind was out of the gutter. “I don’t really have a point of reference but wow.” Her throat felt dry. “If you want to hold off its okay.” “I didn’t say that now did I? Just let me psych myself up.” Rebecca mentally prepared herself to take what looked like seven or eight inches on her first time, biting down on her lip in anticipation. “I wonder what it’s going to feel like when it’s in me.” She grinned slyly, making another attempt at her seemingly effective dirty talk.
“Rebecca…” Iishiro groaned as she ran her fingers up his length as she gauged his size before feeling them slowly sink backwards as she tugged him down with her weight.
He had her pinned underneath him, his dick pressed against her inner thigh as he took in the disheveled flustered sight of the woman underneath him. Rebecca was always beautiful as she was clever whether they were in battle or simply spending time together as she asked him about his past and what he and those around him had experienced. Her determined, lively energy was refreshing to be around and was one of the reasons he’d fallen for her. Even with sweat on her brow and her cheeks rosy, he was captivated by her like a piece of art. “W-wait Iishiro.” Rebecca leaned up “Do we have...protection?” “I mean I could steal some from my brother but I wasn’t expecting to do this tonight”
“I mean...are you tested?”
“Y-yes?”
“Me too. I think that makes our discussion clear.”
“But what about preg-”
“Birth control.”
Iishiro scoffed in amusement as he leaned in more so that there was minimal gap between them. Her skirt was around her waist and her thighs were pressed around legs as his dick rubbed against her entrance, sending a new rush of heat through her body as she felt him pressing against her.
“Iishiro please I...aaah!” Rebecca’s plea was cut off by him slowly penetrating her with a deep groan, causing Rebecca to let out a loud cry of pleasure that seemed to echo to through the ornate hall.
Iishiro slowly pressed further in, giving her body a chance to adjust to the girth as she reached up to cover her face behind her hands, her voice becoming more needy with every second. She’d never experienced anything like it, not even his fingers from earlier could compare to how big he felt inside her, and she knew he wasn’t even fully in.
“Just breath. You’ll adjust.” Iishiro reassured her sweetly, moving one of her hands away from in front of her face so he could watch her reactions, grinning at how she squirmed and shifted beneath him.
“I know it just feels ah~ really good” she admitted as she still covered her face, but tightly squeezed Iishiro’s hand.
Her body did adjust to the feel of him inside her and sent more waves of pleasure up her spine and through her veins to make up for any pain that was there. He was stretching her open as he slowly rocked his hips back and forth and she was quickly falling in love with the feeling. Iishiro was beginning to breathe heavier, his strained voice making Rebecca grin with satisfaction knowing it was her doing.
“Does it hurt?” He huffed out as he rubbed her hand with his thumb, checking on her as he began to move more.
“Stop worrying about me...I’m a tough girl I can take it.” She purred, squeezing his hand in reassurance as she moved her hips to meet him and whined.
Iishiro sped up but was mindful to not over exert her, her sweet cries like music in his ears as she arched up. Rebecca grew louder every passing moment, hooking her legs around his waist and letting out strangled moans. Iishiro grinned down seductively at her, a blush on his face and taking in her facial expressions as she writhed underneath him. Her eyes were squeezed shut and she smiled as she bit her lip. Iishiro leaned down and pressed his cheek against hers and whispered in a deep voice.
“Rebecca you’re so tight.” His hot breath tickling her ear, turning her on even more “It’s  like you were made for me.”
“Don’t just say stuff like that...” Rebecca whimpered, not knowing if it was possible to blush anymore.
“Why? It’s the truth isn’t it?” He teased, nibbling her ear and beginning to palm her breast through her dress, making her squeeze her legs around him even tighter than before. “You’re beautiful.”
Rebecca felt the warmth in her belly begin to spill over, her second orgasm building up as her lover tentatively kissed her and brushed her hair out of her face while he whispered in her ear. Her heart was beating hard and fast as her free hand clutched his back and squeezed his hand even harder. Her nails were digging into his skin and scratched him, yet it only seemed to make him move faster.
“I think I’m getting close…” she whispered to him, feeling a bit self conscious about whether or not she could make him cum. “I-I want you to enjoy it…”
“I am too.” He smiled, kissing her again and letting out another deep moan. “Be as loud as you want love”
Hearing Iishiro call her love, along with a final role of their hips was the last thing that sent Rebecca over the edge, her insides melting as he fucked her through her climax, holding onto him as tears formed in her eyes. She called out his name once more and saw white. That’s when Iishiro let out a vocal moan and came, kissing her hand as she caught her breath and released her thighs hold on him.
“I lost my virginity to an immortal vampire in a church...dressed as a nun.” Rebecca thought as she caught her breath, cracking one eye open to watch him pull out, breathing just as heavily as she. “That’s a lot to take in”
The night of confession had lifted a weight off Rebecca’s shoulders, knowing that the man who brought her where she knew she belonged felt the same as she. She wanted to say something more, the phrase ‘I love you’ sitting on her lips but she swallowed her urge, knowing another time would come, even though Iishiro wouldn’t have been scared off even if she had said it. She was wiped of energy but still leaned up, gasping from a slight soreness that took her by surprise. Iishiro quickly wrapped an arm around her to support her as she sat up.
“Are you okay?” “Perfect.” She smiled, resting her head on his chest. “I’m just tired after all that.”
“Should I take you back to your room?” “Carry me.”
Gathering up their articles of clothing, Iishiro gently lifted her up with her head still against his chest, breathing peacefully as he carried her to her room through the dark halls as quietly as he could. Once in her bedroom, Iishiro placed her down on the bed, not sure if he should undress her so she could sleep peacefully, the clock on her wall reading 2:30 am. Deciding against it, he simply kissed her forehead as she seemed to be fully asleep and stood to leave.
“Where are you going?” Rebecca spoke softly as she felt him get off the bed.
“To-”
“Stay with me.”
And so he did, holding the other close and resting peacefully until the light of day flooded through her windows, yet it failed to rouse the sleeping lovers as they remained entwined with each other, their hearts beating as one.

Imposter
Summary: A bacteria with the ability to copy the appearance of cells to fool the immune system invades the body and makes AE-3803 her first target. After taking the red blood cell’s appearance to sneak past the Neutrophils and adapt to the bodies environment, the imposter sets her sights on U-1146.
Thank you @sisterlillybug for the idea! Check out her blog!
“What a lovely healthy body! So many cells to choose from… Ah! I can’t even decide! I want to have the perfect appearance. Someone those immune cells won’t expect. Someone like… her.”
It was a perfectly normal day in the body as AE-3803 made her first round of deliveries through the lungs, finally managing to navigate around with little to no issue. Well, except for her last location on her set of notes. She couldn’t make any sense of it!
“I-I need to take a right and then  another right and then the directions just say go forward?” She mumbled to herself as she pushed her cart through the crowded streets, looking upward only a few times to make sure she knew where she was going.
“Lost?” She heard a voice above ask, making her smile.
“No I’m not. Just confusing directions.” She explained as she looked up to see her ‘boyfriend’ (the proper term according to Dendritic and the neutrons) U1146. “What are you doing here?”
“There was a bacteria sighted in the area so we’re looking for it. We don’t know what kind it is though.” He explained “and you?”
“Almost done with my first set of rounds! I haven’t even gotten lost.” 3803 explained with a huge grin before reaching down to hold his hand on instinct.
“Good job.” He said with a soft smile.
“Hey after you kill that bacteria come find me, I’ll get us some tea.”
“I’d like that.”
The couple walked together and chatted until 3803 came to her next turn and 1146 was called in the opposite direction by 4989.
“On my way!” He yelled into his earpiece before he looked back at her and gave her a quick squeeze, an apology for running off so fast.
“Good luck!” She called as she watched him run off, ignoring any stares from the other red blood cells around her.
“Yes she’s perfect. Sweet, unassuming, and it seems as if she’s close to that white blood cell. I can use that to my advantage”
“Okay keep going straight...wait what?” 3803 had to take a double take when she saw her delivery was apparently supposed to be down a dark alley.
She gulped, wishing 1146 was with her but quickly removed the thought from her head.
“No this has to be right- I’m not scared of some dark alley I have a job to do.” She reaffirmed before proceeding to push her cart down the dark corridor.
“How cute, she’s like a sitting duck”
She could barely see around her, except for the light coming in from the exit. She sighed deeply, thinking she had to have gotten the directions wrong again.
“Guess I’ll just get out of here and start over…” she groaned before she heard a weird noise coming down the wall behind her.
3803 turned around but could barely see, all she heard was the sound of scratching and saw a dark mass descend behind her, trapping her between her cart and the figure.
‘Bacteria!’ She thought quickly, turning around to make a run for it but was blocked by her cart.
Before she could scream her mouth was covered by something and she was slammed against a wall. As her eyes adjusted she could make out a somewhat feminine figure standing in front of her wearing what looked like glasses out of a science fiction movie. She couldn’t exactly make out it’s face but she didn’t need too, she already knew this wouldn’t end well. She was pressed against the wall and couldn’t break free even though she struggled.
“W-who are you?” She yelled as the mouth cover was removed
“Shhh sorry it’s a secret. No one’s going to know I’m here” Bacteria replied with a haughty as her glasses switched on, emitting a soft red glow.
“You’ll get caught. Don’t think you’ll slip by our immune cells.” 3803 snipped back.
“I don’t have to.”
“Huh?”
“Your pretty face is going to do it for me.”
3803 realized the glasses were scanning her up and down, copying her face and body while recording her voice. She struggled more but the bacteria’s firm grip didn’t let up. She gritted her teeth and prepared to kick away, but then started to feel a wave of fatigue wash over her and she began to lose energy and fought to keep her eyes open. She must’ve been getting drugged. When she looked back at the Bacteria she saw the bacteria wear a smug grin as she was about to lose her last bit of consciousness.
“Don’t worry 3803.” The bacteria mocked, her body then morphing itself in a fluid motion and before 3803 knew it, the barely conscious red blood cell was staring back at herself. “I’ll take good care of that handsome white blood cell of yours”
3803 glared in anger before she shut her eyes and fell limp onto the ground.
The new 3803 grinned as she looked over the sleeping girl.
“Yes this appearance is perfect. Such a lovely face to work with. Much better than the usual plain cells.” The Bacteria spoke to herself as she reached down to remove the hat from the other’s head. “Hopefully she stays asleep long enough for me to do my work. I’m not sure how long the toxin will last in a healthy host like this.”
The bacteria reached down again to remove the girls jacket, the second piece of her ensemble that didn’t copy as it was a trait that identified her as a red blood cell, the two articles needed to throw off the scanners.
“If I find that white blood cell maybe I could trick him into escorting me around the body. I’ve never seen an immune cell hug a simple red blood cell before heading off into battle. I wonder what their relationship could be…” She wondered aloud, pulling on the jacket and fixing the stray piece of hair that kept poking out.
The bacteria stepped over her victim and began to push the cart through the rest of the alley, coming out on the other side as if nothing had happened.
“Hey where have you been?” A cell approached angrily and gensured to the box that remained on the cart. “I’m starving! Where are my nutrients?”
“Right here sir! Sorry for the delay! The streets here do get confusing.” The bacteria said in the most sickeningly sweet voice she could manage as she handed over the nutrients.
“Ugh I guess you’re right. You must’ve missed a right turn.” The cell grumbled as he took the box “thanks I guess”
“No problem!” The imposter red blood cell now had no deliveries and she wasn’t planning to get any more.
“Now I can adapt to this body undetected before I start to multiply.” She thought to herself, grinning sadistically as she walked down the street, her plan falling into place.
1146 shook the water out of his hair as he and the other white blood cells cleaned off after their short battle with the bacteria causing a sore throat. The irritation was already clearing up by the time they were done and there were only minor cuts and bruises on some of them. He checked himself for any remaining blood in the mirror and turned to leave the wash, the sound of 4989 starting a water fight with 2048 beginning in the background as he left. He was hoping 3803 had finished up her deliveries so the two of them could get tea together like she’d suggested, hoping to hear about her smooth day of deliveries as well as continue their discussion on what these ‘cough drops’ that had been showing up recently were actually used for since neither of them could figure it out. He figured she would still be in the lungs since it hadn’t been that long since they last met which meant her favorite tea stand in the area would be the smartest place to check. As he walked down the street along with numerous other cells he soon caught sight of some familiar red hair.
“Hey 3803” he called to her with a wave, noticing she was pushing an empty cart and walking in the opposite direction of where he was heading.
She didn’t even look over, as if she didn’t recognize his voice. 1146 was perplexed and wondered if she hadn’t heard him over the noise of the street. Quickly wading his way through the crowd, he caught up to her.
“I see you finished.” He said as he placed a gentle hand on her shoulder to get her attention.
To his surprise the girl jumped and looked up at him quickly, again not recognizing his voice.
“Oh h-hi 1146 whats up?” She asked with a high pitched voice.
“We just eliminated a group of streptococcus in the throat. Sorry I had to run off like that.”
The bacteria blood cell tried to calm her nerves down. This was the closest she’d ever been to an immune cell in her life without them actively trying to kill her. She knew she had to act natural if she wanted to keep up this charade especially with this particular neutrophil. If she slipped up it could be a dead give away.
“Oh wow! Is anyone hurt?”
“No nothing serious. 4989 tried to use the knife stick again and that went about as well as you can imagine.”
‘What the hell is a knife stick’ the bacteria thought before she threw on a smile in response “Well that's good.”
“So tea?”
“Pardon?”
“Want to go get tea like you mentioned earlier?”
“O-oh sure lead the way.”
1146 had a feeling something was off. 3803 wasn’t acting like herself at all. On their walk to the tea shop she hadn’t held his arm or hand once like she always did when they while they walked somewhere together, especially in crowded areas. The walk was mostly quiet as she had barely said a word as 1146 usually listened to her talk about her day and doubted she wanted to hear about a bacteria battle. He was concerned she was fatigued but she looked alert as ever, but there wasn’t the normal brightness she always had behind her eyes. 1146 noticed it wasn’t just him either. She had ignored the hello from 5100 as they passed each other as if she didn’t recognize her and on top of that all she had ignored Platelet who ran up to the familiar pair and greeted them.
“Red blood cell lady seems to be grumpy today…” Platelet pouted as 1146 bent down to have a quick chat with her.
“I think she’s just tired. I’ll keep an eye on her.”
“You will?”
“Yes promise.”
Platelet seemed to accept that as she made them seal the deal with a pinkie swear. 3803 only seemed to groan as they were stopped.
Now the two of them were sitting in front of the tea shop, 1146 enjoying his tea but 3803 hadn’t touched it. He took his hat off and sat it on the table, keeping an eye on her out of the corner of his eye as he relaxed.
“He’s not bad looking. Never knew I would think that about an immune cell. But I’m still confused as to what their relationship is. If they were together wouldn’t he have made a move by now?” The bacteria thought as she watched him across the table.
“Is everything okay?” He suddenly asked, making the bacteria jump up in her seat.
“Why do you ask?”
“Come on am I not allowed to worry about you? You just seem off today.” He explained leaning a little bit closer to her with concern in his eyes.
“It’s nothing really I’m just tired.” She tried to wave him off but then felt something strange.
The neutrophil, the cells known for their ruthlessness and violence in battle, was lightly touching her cheek and brushed aside a piece of hair that had been hanging in her face nearly the whole day. He was gentle and warm and looked like an idiot in her book.
“So That's their relationship...” A smile curled on the bacteria’s stolen face. She hadn’t aroused his suspicions by acting out of character, instead she had made him concerned for his lover. She wanted to laugh with glee at a chance to use this against them. Normally she when had her fun and destroyed a friendship or two while she was disguised or decided to make life hell for her victim by ruining their reputation. But this was her first time to kill a neutrophil disguised as someone they loved and the prospect of a challenge tickled her.
“Actually… 1146 there is something you can do for me” She knew she had to get him alone now that his guard was down as she wasn't keen to play girlfriend to a white blood cell, even if he was easy on the eyes.
“Yes?” He looked like a fool, a fool who clearly loved the cell who’s appearance she’d stolen.
She leaned into his space and pressed his cheek to her and whispered into his ear with a sultry tone “Follow me.”
The bacteria watched 1146 blush before grabbing his arm and pulling him to an alley. He didn’t fight it but he was clearly confused. The bacteria knew she had lost time playing this game but she also knew that it had helped her avoid detection as she had almost adapted completely to the environment of the body. Plus it was always fun to toy with emotions.
“3803 What are you-“ he began to ask before she pushed him against the wall
“Shhh relax” she cooed, gently placing her thumb on his bottom lip and gently tilted his head towards her. “It’s just us in here you don’t need to worry.”
The bacteria had her body pressed against 1146, one hand wrapped around the back of his neck and another hand on his chest. He still had the strength to break free if he wanted to, but clearly he didn’t, even if he obviously confused. She ran her leg up his thigh, blocking his access to his weapon.
“3803 I still…”
“You’re so stiff. Loosen up and have a little fun.” The imposter flirted, running her fingers through the hair at the base of his neck causing him to exhale. She had to admit he really was attractive, a part of her regretted she was going to have to kill him.
She decided it was time to make the kill when he was relaxed and defenseless. She closed her eyes and started to lean in for a kiss, peeking one open to see that his eyes were closed as well. Bacteria readied to turn her fingers into the sharp blades that would skewer him through the skull and chest, giving him just enough time before he died to see his love staring back at him. Foreheads touched, noses brushed together and-
“Get away from him!” An enraged voice screamed causing 1146 to snap his eyes open and instinctively duck out of Bacteria’s grip just in time for the copy to be tackled to the ground by a red blood cell seething with rage.
The original 3803 had woken up in the same alley after the toxins released by  the bacteria that had attacked her and stolen her look dissipated. Her head hurt and she felt achy but she knew she didn’t have any time to waste. Someone had to know what was going on! She knew that there was a wash station for immune cells nearby that was bound to have white blood cells there or at least she could find one of them by running through the streets looking for her double.
“Excuse me! Sorry! Look out!” She yelled as she dodged her way through the crowds of people only half in uniform, barely even looking like a red blood cell.
She was trying to remember anything the bacteria had said to her before she passed out.
“That handsome white blood cell of yours”
“Oh no.” 3803’s stomach filled with dread when that phrase came to her.
Her mind immediately went to the worst scenario that her doppelgänger had already gone and killed her boyfriend. 3803 had to shake the thought out of her head knowing that panicking wasn’t going to hurt anyone. She was out of breath by the time she got to the wash station and looked around, panting as she looked around for someone.
“2048! 2001!” She yelled as she saw the two familiar white blood cells chatting near the wash station.
The two looked to her and ran over when they saw her state.
“3803 are you okay?” 2001 asked, looking her over for any injuries.
“Yeah catch your breath what’s wrong?” 2048 continued.
“Bacteria *huff* ambush *huff* Looks like me *huff* 1146”
“I don’t understand what about bacteria?” 2001 asked.
“THERE’S A BACTERIA THAT LOOKS LIKE ME!” 3803 yelled after taking a deep breath. “It morphed *huff* into me and knocked *huff* me out! It’s in the body somewhere!”
“WHAT?” the two white blood cells yelled in shock, attracting 4989 and 2626 to them because of the commotion.
3803 explained as clear as she could what had happened to her and the fact that 1146 could be in danger. 2001 quickly made the connection that since the bacteria was wearing 3803’s jacket and hat it would throw off their scanners. They quickly made the decision to split up and search the area, knowing that they couldn’t have gone far.
That’s how 3803 ended up running through the shops in the lungs frantically looking for any sign of 1146 or her double, figuring that he would’ve gone there to find her. She approached the tea shop the two of them always went too and saw 1146’s hat sitting at their normal table with no sign of them anywhere. Her stomach dropped and she looked up to see an alley that looked just like the one she had been ambushed in just a while ago. She took a deep breath and approached it after using the com device to tell the others where she was she started to walk down the alley.
That’s when she saw herself hanging off of a completely at ease 1146 and leaning in to kiss him. Despite the fact she had been ambushed, robbed, and hadn’t rested the whole day seeing that gave her a rush of energy that she never knew she could have. She screamed and before she knew it she tackled her double.
“YOU!” the bacteria yelled as 3803 and her hit the ground with a thud.
3803 held her wrists so the invader couldn’t utilize the claw hands 3803’d seen her use in the alley and kept her pinned down. The bacteria retalited and flipped them over yet 3803 still held her wrists in place.
“What are you gonna do now red blood-” The bacteria laughed before she was cut off by 3803 kicking her square in the chest making them switch positions again.
1146 felt like he was having a fever dream. One second ago he was pinned to the wall by his girlfriend who hadn’t been herself all day and was now watching the two of them fighting on the ground in front of him. He watched black-shirt 3803 take a punch to the face but instead of reeling back she put her knee on the other 3803’s chest keeping her pinned to the ground and struggling to move.
“You chose the wrong body” 3803 growled as the other white blood cells began to show up in the alley, following the signal 3803 had sent earlier.
“Whoa! 3803 is kicking ass!” 4989 exclaimed as he poked his head out of the wall next to 1146 who jumped back in shock, still with no clue on what was happening.
“Help her!” 2001 yelled at 2626 and 2048 who were standing with him at the top of the alley as they watched the bacteria and 3803 fight as the bacteria struggled against 3803’s hold.
“I think she’s got it…” 2626 mumbled
1146 couldn’t find any words to say other than realize that whatever was happening, the 3803 in the black shirt was definitely the real one.
“AAAAAHG” The bacteria screamed in frustration before her disguise failed, making her revert back to her actual form which was far more monstrous than what 3803 had seen in the dark, “YOU’VE RUINED EVERYTHING” and with that she threw 3803 off of her and pinned her immediately, utilizing her full strength to kill the nuisance.
“GO” 4989 yelled causing the rest of the neutrophils to grab their knives and spring into action.
3803 slammed her forehead into the forehead of the bacteria, knocking her off and into the blades of the other 4 neutrophils. She had some blood on her and her arms and legs were caked in dirt from the fight. She breathed heavily as she stood up before she looked to 1146 who still hadn’t had anything explained to him.
“1146! Are you okay?” 3803 exclaimed in her normal sweet and concerned voice as she ran over to him and grabbed his head, quickly checking for injuries. “Did she hurt you?”
“T-trust me I’m okay. The bacteria didn’t do anything to me” he quickly explained, putting his hands familiarly around her waist as she got on her tiptoes to look at him.
“Thank goodness.” she sighed and hugged him tight.
1146 hugged her back but then he saw the others standing over the bacteria that he’d almost kissed, he felt sick thinking about it.
“I’m sorry for...that?” he felt the need to apologize for almost kissing her double, even though he genuinely thought it was her.
“Huh? Oh yeah I forgive you. I mean it was me you thought you were kissing.”
“Yeah but…”
“If you still want one I can make that happen, but you’re coming with me to get a new jacket since mine’s ruined now.”
“Of course I-”
The real 3803 then kissed him with the blood of her enemy still on her face. The fact she had beaten up bacteria was a topic for another time.

Dancing Under the ‘Stars’
Hey guys! This is the first short ficlet I’m posting on here. It was short and sweet so I thought it would be the best one to start with. I got the idea from @420argonian. Hope y’all enjoy!
The fingerprints were thought to be an incredibly romantic spot for cells who found themselves in that kind of relationship. 3803 had never been there before with 1146, even on the multiple deliveries she had made to various fingers time after time. The skies were always so clear but she’d never had a reason to go and enjoy their unique designs.
“So where are we going?” She had asked 1146 as they walked down the path to the left ring finger, his arm around her shoulder as the pair walked together.
“You mentioned that you hadn’t been to the ring finger before. I thought I’d take you to see the whorl.”
“Whorl?”
“This is the only finger that has it. The rest of them are loops. Not to say those aren’t pretty but it takes a lot to see the differences”
“You mean they’re different? They all look the same to me…” “I can’t tell the difference either.”
As they walked passed the residential area of the finger into the open area of the fingerpad 3803 looked up and gasped. The sky was shades of gorgeous reds and orange, combined with a brilliant double whorl pattern. It was two patterns swirling together, almost like a ying-yang symbol painted in the sky. It was utterly breathtaking.
“1146 its beautiful…” She gasped at the sight as they walked through the wide open field.
There weren’t many people there meaning 1146 could easily find a secluded spot for the two of them to watch the sky above. 1146 took his arm off from her shoulders to sit down on the soft grass, laying down and closing his eyes, looking at peace. She smiled down at him, a swell in her chest for the one she loved after she’d seen him go through so much. 3803 took another look up at the sky before she sat down next to him on the grass. She couldn’t say exactly when their relationship had gone from simply friends to something more but she knew now that 1146 was worth more to her than words could describe, and was happy to call him her ‘boyfriend’. Acting almost on autopilot she laid her her head down on his chest and wrapped an arm around him, pressing her chest to his side. She felt his arm wrap around her snuggly and exhale. 3803 blushed and smiled as she watched the sky above her, not having to worry about deliveries or bacteria and instead just enjoying a quiet moment together as a couple. They laid together like that for a while, 3803 listening to the sound of his breathing and 1146 enjoying the warmth she offered. Their legs began to tangle together and 3803 shifted more onto his chest and raising her hand to stroke his cheek with her thumb, he then moved to look at her. When their eyes met he leaned in and kissed her gently. 3803 made a noise of surprise but kissed him back enthusiastically, closing her eyes and leaning more into the kiss. The pair sat up and 3803 looped her arms around his neck and felt his hand find her waist pulling her closer as another hand cupped her cheek. 3803 gasped softly as they pulled away for a brief second, foreheads touching before reconnecting and leaning further into his space. 3803 moved so they were now chest to chest and hovering over 1146’s lap as they kissed.
The two were completely infatuated with one another but that didn’t stop the rising sound of soft acoustic guitar echoing from outside the body. You see, the host plays guitar, quite well in fact and vibrations carry through the fingers as you would expect. Music to the cells wasn’t a foreign concept in the slightest, but it was always exciting to hear music being played naturally and not blasted through the body by neurons, especially when it was stuck on loop.
“Hey do you hear that?” 3803 asked between kisses as the slow acoustic guitar music began to play around them.
“The host is playing their guitar.” 1146 explained, remembering the few times he’d been lucky enough to be in the fingers when the host was playing.
3803 pulled away from him to sit up and listen. 1146 followed and kept a hand around her waist, keeping her close. The two of them sat there listening to the soft strumming of an acoustic guitar playing a sweet romantic tune in a moment of peace for the two of them. Thats when 3803 stood up and grabbed 1146’s hand and pulled him up.
“Dance with me.” She smiled, the soft oranges behind her framing her like a picture.
1146 smiled at her in response as he stood up, keeping his hand steady on her waist as she placed her hand on his shoulder. The guitar still played softly around them as they held each other and took their first steps.
“I-I don’t know exactly what I’m doing” 3803 blushed as the two of them began to move, avoiding eye contact with the other cell for fear of embarrassing herself with a misstep.
“It’s okay I don’t either.” He reassured her with a calm voice and a chuckle.
The pair slowly found their rhythm, a tentative touch and a soft gaze highlighting their dance. They found themselves closer than they were when they started, feeling the heat of each others body as they moved in tandem with the music. 3803 wasn’t the most graceful of dancers, not like a macrophage or liver cell, but she trusted him to lead her and did so with a smile only she could have on her face. 1146 hoped she couldn’t feel the nervous beat in his chest as he looked down at her, feeling nothing but affection and calm. The sped up their pace a bit to match the quickening rhythm of the guitar and giggled as they stumbled. 3803 tripped over her own feet as 1146 spun her around, bracing herself for a fall but instead opened her eyes to see him dipping her after he’d caught her. Her hands were around his neck and he had an arm around her shoulders and supporting her leg.
“I think we need more practice.” She cooed as he readjusted them and continued dancing.
There were no attacks, no cuts or scrapes, not even a minor bacterial attack as they danced to the guitar. They moved much more smoothly with one another, 3803 letting him spin her to his heart’s content as she held onto him for support, sneaking a kiss or two when she could.
As the final song tapered out 3803 found herself with her legs wrapped around his waist and their arms around each other, looking at one another like they were the only two cells in the body. There was nothing for them to worry about. Their foreheads were nearly pressed together and 3803 wore a smile near inches from 1146’s face. As the final note played, 1146 closed the gap.

Another AU from Cells At Work that me and my peers had thought of
( @gaycalculator and @chemicalflashes huehue) this time we thought of wbc and rbc adopting a myelocyte which was then named Myelly.
Quickly becoming attached to the small but fierce myelcolyte, u-1146 and ae-3803 find themselves to become quite the peculiar family…
Yes I realize that she kinda looks like the female white blood cell from cells at work black but i didn’t know about the manga when i first made her up lmao i just based her off of u-1146

Cells at Work University!AU
aasdfal something me and my peeps (@gaycalculator) were working on at discord. can’t help but think of a uni au for this anime, and there aren’t really that much aus in this small fandom unfortunately… They’re all at Shimizu University, which is just basically a made up university lmao
i tried to draw as much as the characters from the anime, i realize there may be some missing but i’ll work on them sooner or later!
