My Pre-Vet Adventure 🐱🐶
Hello! I’m Bobbi and this is going to be my own little form of motivation. I’m currently working as a Vet Assistant and finishing up my undergrad before going on to Vet school 🤗 I don’t know that I’m one of those people who has all these pretty notes and everything, my handwriting is too messy for that. But yeah, I’m a little awkward but I also love people, so feel free to message me 😊❤️

Now that my last organic test is done, I feel like I can finally breathe again! No matter how much I study beforehand, I always end up cramming for these, and it’s exhausting. Now it’s just playing the waiting game until teach has them graded 😬🤞🏻
There’s still plenty to do, but assignments and studying for other classes feel like they weigh so much less, and I’m so glad I’m over the hump now. Hope your days, weeks, and semesters are all going well. Good luck and stay positive!

After spending 5 hours on a contour line drawing, I’m comfortable saying I would be just fine never doing it again. On the other hand, it was a very nice break from note taking!

My physics professor lets us write up a cheat sheet for our tests, so that was my main priority today. It’s awful while I’m doing it, but tiny handwriting is oddly satisfying to me. Not to mention how impressed I am that I condensed 4 chapters worth of material onto a single sheet of graph paper. I feel like I’m going into this test as ready as I can be, so here’s hoping it goes well!

Today on “why do I want to register for another class on top of my original 4? Why?!” I have decided to start a fan account for my grandma to make sure I don’t spend the remaining 3 weeks of summer at my desk, even if I think I might need to.

I’ve been finishing up my notes for my summer classes and getting ready to start my fall classes! It seems unreal that in a few months I’ll be applying to a 4 year school.
I’ve also had the chance to dig out my notes from my first school to help my boyfriend with his chemistry classes, which has been a helpful refresher as I’m heading into organic chem next month 😬 But, as the sign behind my sleeping queen says, deterimination is for the long run. I’ve made it this far and I can still go further.

I cannot stress this enough- Build a routine. Build Habits. Wake up every day and get used to being productive, one day at a time. Do this for long enough and eventually you’ll be at your goal without even realising it.

Some days I get behind or my time management lapses, but I’ve accepted it and am working on it, challenging as it may be. Sometimes it makes me discouraged that my procrastination has put me in an uncomfortable position, but that doesn’t have to mean that every day and every assignment is like that.
Today is a beautiful day to start getting my life in order (for what feels like the 10th time) and I feel fairly confident that it’s doable this time. Confidence can falter, and some days will be more difficult than others, but thriving is always possible. To anyone who might be faltering right now, I believe in you, believe in yourself, and work through the hard part to get to the great part.

3 more weeks left of my internship!
We had an adorable puppy come in today and found these little guys in his fecal float. Unfortunate for the pup, but pretty cool that I was able to recognize them on the slide!
I’m also starting to plan out my class schedule this summer and fall, and I’m getting so excited for this next chapter. All the better that the clinic I’m working at right now has offered me a job on my days off 😉

A very happy national pets day to the lovely furbabies who drive me in my adventures and keep me going when the days seem rough.
With a day like today, I’m glad to be a veterinary student. I get to watch the casual love between owners and their pets. I watch the care the humans have for their animals, and the admiration the animals have for their humans. I wouldn’t want to spend my work day anyway else 😻😊💞
