Once again, the time is nearly upon us - with less than a month left of April, it's soon time for #Monstrous May!
Monstrous May was first established in 2021, and I've arranged prompts for each May since - for each day of the month of May, there is a prompt involving and invoking the monstrous.
Create art, sculpture, write fiction, poetry, make whatever you feel inspired to! Create for as many or as few days as inspire you, collaborate with friends, and have fun.
Fan creations are just as welcome as original ones, and naturally, erotic and adult creations are as well as SFW ones!

Just remember - you do not have to be a fast writer that puts out a lot of content on a regular basis to be a valuable member of the fandom. Your unique voice is something that cannot come from anywhere but yourself. Even if it takes you 10 times as long to put out a piece. Even if you have 10 followers. Even if you can only write a thousand words of an idea.
It is worth just as much as any other piece of work shared in this space. Thank you for sharing it.

I think it’s incredibly fucked how capitalism discourages learning for learning’s sake. People will have interests they’ve spent years researching then say it’s “useless knowledge” bc it didn’t go towards a college degree and isn’t part of their job. Learning is never useless! Your brain is growing and developing throughout your whole life! People would never have epiphanies or sudden lightening strikes of creativity if they weren’t learning new things! That goes double for topics like science, politics, and history, which inform your understanding of the world you live in!

Big fan of sun motifs in characters not necessarily being about positivity and happiness and how they're so " bright and warm" but instead being about fucking brutal they are.
Radiant. A FORCE of nature that will turn you to ash. That warmth that burns so hot it feels like ice. Piercing yellow and red and white. A character being a Sun because you cannot challenge a Sun without burning alive or taking everything down with them if victorious.
