So I imagine Gladys and Jack’s first encounter would be when Jack is waiting for Larry at the Russell’s library and then Gladys thought he’s one of the suitors that always pining for her attention, frustrated because of the Duke thing Gladys shuts him off before he could introduce himself properly. Amuse and confuse, Jack tried to stop her from talking but failed. Then Larry came and saw their little “conversation” then introduced Jack to Gladys properly as his business partner. Embarrassed and shocked, Gladys apologised then walk off only for Jack looking her way before she walked away then their eyes met and sparks fly and a crush was born in between them.

I have done it! I’ve started writing the Jack and Gladys fanfic! (With a side of OC romances, Bertha and George, and ✨Larian✨) I’m just trying to write ahead since I’m starting my final semester soon. So… yeah!

Larry / Marian & Jack / Gladys combo love stories will make season 3 be like 🔥. There are so many reasons in my head on why Jack and Gladys will make sooo much sense as to carry the plot forward and will do such wonders to both Jack and Gladys’ individual character growths too.

Billy Carlton? He seemed sweet enough, but he did just appear out of nowhere in order to reiterate that Gladys is interested in the younger society crowd and has absolutely no interest in the Duke.

An OC? Should a young man arise from the crowd of society to sweep Gladys off her feet and take her away from New York?

I’ve been crack shipping Jack and Gladys since season 1, and the fact that Jack is gonna be close with Larry for their business partnering and Jack will hang at the Russell’s household a lot just solidified my crack ship to canon (fight me on this!).

George would support whoever Gladys falls in love with and I’m sure he will like Jack instantly like how he took liking to Marian.

Like imagine Larry-Marian, Jack-Gladys pairings. All of the characters are already much loved by the audience like how Mary and Matthew, Sybil and Tom Branson in DA (but pls no dead person trope!!) the pairings and love stories alone can make the show so much better that we will probably go to the distance until like season 6&7.
