I completely agree. Meta kills the game and is a major reason why many find DBD unfun. Reject trying to feel mild, temporary happiness by winning, embrace the silly :D

Here are some of my favourite silly (survivor) builds:

#1 Wire Tap, Blastmine, Alert, & Open Handed (Watch the killer blow up 🤭)

#2 Red Herring, Diversion, Deception, Flashbang (Spreading misinformation 😍)

#3 Lightweight, Light Footed, Calm Spirit, Urban Invasion (Preferably with a dark cosmetic in a dark map like Midwitch or Macmillian Estate)(Disappear before the killer's eyes 😦)

These are some of my personal faves, but as someone who's played this game for way too long, I HIGHLY recommend experimenting with different perks and builds to see if you can come up with something yourself :)

One thing I gotta recommend for people getting tired and disappointed in DBD, is seriously, run something incredibly stupid instead of picking nothing but meta.

I’ve been playing a bunch of matches with Dramaturgy and oh my gosh it’s so fun. Same with Plot Twist.

And on the other side, running Thwack!, Game Afoot and Batteries Included has made it so much more fun too.

Find some dumb and niche perks and slap them into your load out, don’t just run Windows of Opportunity, Resilience, Adrenaline, Pain Resonance, Grim Embrace, etc etc.

My go to fun combos (surv) / perks (killer) rn are

Survivor: #1 Dramaturgy+Vigil, #2 Sprint Burst+Blood Rush, #3 Repressed Alliance+Blast Mine.

Killer: Thwack!, Game Afoot, Batteries Included, Leverage, Nemesis, Fire Up, Dark Devotion, Hex: Third Seal, Spies from the Shadows.

Like there’s so many fun and funky perks that make the game more exciting. Highly recommend to pick 2 fun perks, and add 2 support perks to help (like deadlock for killer, we’ll make it for survivor). Makes the game more fun.

SIDE ORDER SPOILERS!!!

So far I've beat the game and reconfigured every pallet, and there's still no sign of four physically being in the DLC 😭 (other than the parallel canon fight, which hardly counts)

I'm going to try to get every upgrade, every colour chip, every enemy log, and everything from the store to see if it'll unlock a secret boss or something

But I don't understand why four wouldn't be in side order because in the trailers it says you can play as an octoling OR inkling, which implies that you can play as four at some point (because agent 3 isn't in the DLC at all) AND in the enemy logs there's one spot left to make even rows, which hopefully means there's a secret boss 🙏

Pray for me besties, cause I'M DOING THIS FOR OUR AGENT!!!
