So my primary love language is physical touch right except I’ve managed to create a friend group of people who are all touch averse except one, and I only found that out about this one recently. And the last week or two-ish we’ve become much closer than before which is super cool BUT NOW my brain is feeling ✨feelings✨ and I don’t know if I’m developing an actual crush on her or if I’m just craving the affection and (platonic) intimacy bc I’m finally able to give/receive affection through the way I vastly prefer

Yes, Scarlet and Violet are probably some of THE buggiest games in the franchise. The graphics aren’t the greatest. The frame rate can get very bad very quickly. The animation can be…awkward at times.

And I don’t care.

I love this game. I can’t remember the last time I was so excited to finally get and play a Pokémon game. Fuecoco is my little guy with no brain cells. Nemona is a fun rival. Team Star are so fucking stupid with their outfits and their star outline hand thing and their “hasta la vistarrr.” They’re so unbelievably dumb and I LOVE THEM. I see Game Freak trying to pull a found family thing with all these bosses and yk what I’ll allow it. Go ham. I love being able to truly explore Paldea; I’ve spent a good chunk of time just running around and seeing what I can find. I love seeing the Pokémon in the over world with their little interaction animations. I basically only have the dashing ability for Koraidon and I’ve found that if you try hard enough, most areas will be accessible.

The games are far from perfect. We can all agree on that. But I truly love Scarlet, and it’ll probably earn a spot as one of my favorite Pokémon games.
