I saw these two cis straight guys say that it's concerning if somebody hasn't had a relationship in their late 20s or 30s and I want to shut that shit down.
It is ok if you haven't had a relationship at those ages or later. It isn't 'concerning' and it doesn't make you a bad person or unwanted.
Relationships aren't jobs where you do it for 'experience'. You get into relationships because you have feelings for another person and want to be with them.
This whole mindset is very ignorant to other people's experiences because, for example, dating is a lot different and harder for LGBT+ and disabled folk, and there's just some people who don't want to date or want to have time for themselves which is fine!

Really pissed off that the LGBT+ app i'm using has loads of cops pretending to be queer people who use drugs to catch others who do, and there's also a shit ton of bots trying to talk to you on there. Can we have a space without us getting targeted?

As a lesbian woman, I have a lot of thoughts about James Somerton but really all I can think of now is just that I want people to learn from James' mistakes.
If you actually want to have a supportive community, listen to us. Raise our voices up. Actually look into the history of oppression against those in our community other than cis gay men. There is no point in trying to 'one up' each other. We all struggle at the end of the day, and we all made this community to help one another.

I think what hbomberguy missed out on his video was the way James Somerton also dismissed ace people's oppression by claiming that they didn't 'go through conversion therapy' or apparently 'suffered as much as gay men'.
So here's a video I want to share by the Ace Couple going into depth about the whole thing and how James reacted when called out... spoilers, he didn't react well. I just hope by James' mistakes he and other people can learn something and grow.

The whole ‘men are visually attracted, women are emotionally attracted’ actually put me in denial for years. Let me tell you that everybody experiences attraction differently.
When I watched media that catered scenes to WLM it was only then that I realised that, yeah, women are actually attracted to their bodies. I realised that I actually feel that way only towards women.
We’re so used to having society dictate to us that we don’t ‘actually’ experience attraction or desire, that we’re not given the chance or space to actually think that maybe we actually feel these feelings we supposedly ‘don’t feel’ for other women. They don’t want us to think about how we feel and think, they just want us all to fall into these lies and be ‘straight’.
