He feels his eyes bug and twitch. “In the entire library, you have one copy of Little Women?”
“Yup.”
“Can I at least know who has it checked out?” Lance sighs through his nose, defeated.
She shrugs, turning to her brick of a computer and typing something in. “A guy named Keith.”
“Who?” He’s never heard of a single person going to Altea State University named Keith.
or, lance is suffering through classical lit 101 with a teacher that assigns required reading like its air. every time he goes to check out that book from the library closest to him, a man named keith has checked it out. the same day, a letter falls out of the book checked out to him marked “k. kogane.”
People, please be careful. There are also people tracking children and people and putting bids on them based on their profile pictures on whatsapp, tracking and kidnapping them. Especially young children, so please be cautious, especially parents who have their children as their profile pictures.
Please pass this on to everyone so that they are aware of the danger. I don’t how it is all around the world but I know it can’t just be here so please please spread the word. Thank you.
Lance keeps a hair tie in his pocket at all times. It's a habit he developed from having sisters, and it became a fidget toy of sorts for him, and when he left home for the garrison it was also a reminder of family, so he just never stopped carrying around the one that was in his pocket when he left home. That's how he ended up with a hair tie in space, and why he takes such care not to lose it, and sometimes even wears it on his wrist. Only Hunk knows about its significance, so, he is the only one whose eyes absolutely bug out of his head when Keith asks one day before a mission if he can use it to tie up his hair, and Lance just hands it over without hesitation.
